Maid Bright

The house cleaners are wonderful. They are always timely and my house looks great when they leave. They are very flexible with scheduling.

Maid Bright is EXTREMELY responsive, always returning phone calls in a timely fashion. I needed to have a cleaning done for a special event at our home -- the same week I made the initial inquiry to Maid Bright (and other cleaning firms). Maid Bright was able to send a rep out to the house to do the estimate and they were able to fit us into their schedule that week -- much to my surprise and delight! The cleaning teams do an excellent job and I would recommend Maid Bright. Occasionally the team misses something, however, when brought to their attention they will gladly address the item.

From the beginning they were very professional. When Ahmet came to give me an estimate he went room by room and explained in detail what they would and would not clean. I have had a few bad experiences with other cleaners and Maid Bright is by far the best cleaning service!

IExcellent company! We have only had them come out twice so far (tomorrow will be the third), but both times they have called 24 hours in advance to give us a window of when they will arrive the next day, and both times they arrived within that time frame. Cleaning was done by two ladies, very thorough but in a timely manner as well. The products they use are fantastic, they have a 'fresh' smell but no harsh cleaner scent and leaving everything spotless. I have children who crawl on the floors so the fact that they use green products is important to me. After they have cleaned the house sparkles, and they even take the trash! They have been very accommodating, I have called to reschedule a couple times when things came up and they are happy to change my date. I very much appreciate their flexibility. I highly recommend this company!

This was my second time using Maid Bright. The cleaners arrived within the two hour window and not 5 minutes before the end of the window which is nice. They did a good job although the floors weren't well cleaned and I found stuff under my couch. But all in all they provide good cleaning service and I would use them again.

They do a great job, they're always pleasant to deal with, they're always on time, they are a great value for the money. I wholeheartedly recommend signing up with them.

This is the best cleaning service we've found. The cleaners generally do a very good job, and the office is well organized and responsive. The only problem we've had is that sometimes cleaners unfamiliar with our house are assigned, and we have to review everything with them that we've reviewed with other cleaners in the past. And if we're not around to do that, sometimes a few things are neglected.

hey clean my house every week. They are very thorough( I have 2 long haired dogs and a cat) The house sparkles when they are done. Even my husband noticed the difference They show up when they say they are going to be here , which I really aprreciate these days. Will keep using them

I've used Maid Bright for the last year and they are very responsive and professional. The 2-person team that cleans my house does a fantastic job . I'm very satisfied with their attention to detail and responsiveness to feedback and questions. They have worked with me when my schedule has shifted and were very curtious when we first brought our newborn son home from the hospital. Overall, I'm very happy with Maid Bright.

Maid Bright has been cleaning our home for about two months and we're very satisfied with their work. The employees are friendly, thorough, and trustworthy, and the office staff are always very responsive. The house is always nice and clean. They are worth the extra money. I would higly recommend them!

Everything went great! First time cleaning took about 4 hours for two workers. They called the day before to give us an approximate arrival time. I am looking forward to regular follow-on service with Maid-Bright.

Had some issues but provider did follow-up promptly and and we worked out a resolution.

The initial estimate was great. Ahmet showed up exactly on time and we walked around the house. He explained to me the products they use and what areas they clean in each room. He explained to me that they do not use bleach products but if I would like them to, to just them them next to the shower or tubs and they will know to use it. The price Ahmet quoted was excellent and I signed up for my first cleaning. I was looking for a monthly service. The 2 ladies showed up on time and got straight to work. They finished in about 3 hours. I did leave a bottle of bleach out in the master bath as the shower is an older shower and needs a little more "tender lovn' care" then normal and I wanted to make sure it got a good cleaning. After the ladies left, I noticed that they did not move the bathrob that was hanging next to the shower and they bleached the belt on the rob (red bathrob now with a white belt). I wrote them and email and exampled to them that I was a little disappointed that they didn't pay closer attention. I was offered a $30 discount off my next cleaning. I wrote back and attached the estimate that Ahmet gave me that showed if we wanted to continue on a monthly bases, we would get $25 off our 2nd and 4th visits (being Angie List members). In my reply, I noted this and asked if I could use the $30 discount on my 3rd visit. I have since NOT heard back from Maid Bright and it has been a few weeks. I am assuming they do not want my business.

They were highly rated and that's why we chose them. They didn't disappoint. We weren't even there to inspect it and they did a good job! The property owner initially wanted us to go with a different cleaning company who wasn't as highly rated. We chose Maid Bright and I think the property owner is convinced to use Maid Bright in the future as well.

The cleaning done by Made Bright was OK. They missed several areas when dusting. Additionally they did not clean the bathroom very well. Hair was left on the floors in the corners and along the wall. I booked the cleaning the week before however Maid Bright only gave me a two hour window to expect the cleaners the day before the actual cleaning. This is annoying even the cable company gives you the window to expect their people when you first book the appointment.

I expected amazing results however, I got better than average results but not amazing. I found spots that were not dusted and some areas were missed. I was satisfied with their work though. I thought they were professional, on time, appropriate and reasonably priced. Even if I am scheduled every Tuesday of the month, they call you the day before to tell you a window of when they will be there. I'd rather have a set time every month.

For the first visit in July, the deep cleaning, the 2 ladies from Maid Bright spent approximately 7 hours cleaning my house and they did a good job. Due to an illness and long recovery, the house had gotten very dusty, and with 2 dogs, there was a lot of hair, etc. I was at home the entire time during this first cleaning. Because I was pleased with the deep cleaning, I scheduled regular cleaning for 2 weeks later, and requested the same 2 ladies. Because there were a couple of things I thought needed improvement from the 1st cleaning, when I called to reschedule I asked that particular attention be paid to those areas: wet mopping the floors (the damp cloth they pushed around on the floor was not cleaning like an old-fashioned mop and bucket of water would), and attention to the dust and dirt on the window sills/baseboards (they apparently had dusted with a feather duster or something similar, and not with a wet cloth, as I had requested, so some of the sills & baseboards were still dirty). Again, I thought they did a good job the 1st time around so I wasn't overly concerned with the couple of areas that needed imnprovement. For the 2nd cleaning, the same ladies arrived promptly, as before, and I returned to work after letting them in. When I got home from work in the evening, I inspected the house. Upstairs, they again did not clean all the window sills & baseboards. One window sill in particular had colored dust on it from when I fixed a small hole in the wall above and sanded it. They had missed that particular window sill the first time around too. They also forgot to empty the trash in the upstairs bathroom. In the basement, which they cleaned for the 1st time, they did not clean any of the window sills. That oversight was inexcusable given that 2 of the window sills had a couple of dead flies on them, and one had brown gunk (from one of those old-fashioned fly strips) on the moulding on the side of the window that could be seen from across the room. The vaccuuming was also poorly done (it looked as if they had just run the vaccuum in the middle of the floor and did not try to clean the edges along the wall), and the cloth couch had not been vaccuumed at all. Because Maid Bright had a good promotion where the first 4 cleanings were discounted, I decided to give the ladies another try, and scheduled a 3rd cleaning for 2 weeks later. When I called to schedule the 3rd cleaning, I again mentioned that the ladies had missed some essential things, in particular the window sills in the basement and the carpet in the basement. I was assured that they would be given a message to thoroughly clean thos areas when they came next. For the 3rd cleaning, the same ladies arrived promptly, and I let them in and then returned to work. When I got home from work and inspected the house, I was extremely disappointed. The trash had not been emptied in the kitchen or basement. The window sill upstairs with the sanding dust still had not been cleaned (after 3 visits). In addition, the ladies did not vaccuum behind the bed or under the furniture in the master bedroom, where there were visible bunches of dog hair. On the very 1st cleaning I had emphasized to the ladies that behind the bed and under the dressers were extremely important areas to clean because they collected hair. In the basement, again, none of the window sill had been cleaned, and there were still dead flies and fly trap gunk (clearly visible). Also, they had broken a PVC pipe "dog" that my nephews had made for me, which lay in pieces under a table, and did not tell me. The "dog" is easily put back together, so there was no permanent damage, but they should have told me about it. After the 3rd cleaning I decided to stop using Maid Bright. It had already proven useless to call and let management know of my concerns because the ladies were either not told about them, or ignored them. My house is relatively small (a 1950's bungalow), and 3 of the rooms which are unused guest/office areas I had told them did not need to be cleaned. For $179 for a 2-week cleaning of a small house, I certainly should have gotten better service. UPDATE 9-16-2013: The owner contacted me the day after I posted this review and said that Maid Bright wanted to make things right. He offered me a complimentary cleaning with a different crew to show the quality of their work. I agreed to let them have a chance to clean again, and then update this review as necessary. The complimentary cleaning is scheduled for Monday 9-23-13. FINAL UPDATE 9-25-13: The new crew of 2 ladies arrived punctually on 9-23-13 for my complimentary cleaning. They stayed 2 hours. I was not present. This new crew performed poorly. The fly trap gunk on the basement window frames, and the bunches of dog hair behind the master bed, the 2 major things I complained of above in my original review, were NOT done. In addition, this crew did not clean many things that the first crew actually did quite well: the master bedroom closet was not vacuumed; one nightstand was not dusted; they vacuumed beneath one dresser but not the other; in the kitchen, they cleaned only the bottom of 3 open shelves - the other crew, as I had requested in my initial consultation, had cleaned all 3 shelves; the George Foreman grill appeared to have been cleaned because the drip pan was clean, but when I opened it the plates were still coated with globs of grease; in the bathroom, the small corner shelves holding shampoo, etc. were not cleaned and showed soap scum and dust, as did the shower head; the small skid proof bathtub mat was not cleaned, and bunches of hair with tub slim were wrapped around the suction cups; rinsed but dirty dishes were left in the sink even though there was plenty of room in the dishwasher; the coffee pot had been rinsed, but greasy fingerprints and coffee stains had not been cleaned, yet it was put on the draining board with clean dishes; a living room table was only partially dusted so that you can see clean "swiped" areas where the cloth passed right next to very dusty patches. My original ratings stand.

They were very good. The first contact was with a gentleman who looked over the house and gave me an estimate. Once the work was scheduled, the cleaners arrived on time and did the work exactly as promised.

They have been doing great. The biggest thing is the level of professional ism. They make it easy to schedule and I am able to put a credit card on file so I don’t get a bill and send a check. The quality of the work is very good. They bring their own supplies, but I have them use mine since I like them better.

Everything went fine. They did what I expected. Scheduling was easy and the workers showed up on time. They brought their own supplies. They did a good job overall.

They are my new maids. I have been happy with their work so far. I feel comfortable with the workers being here and feel they are trustworthy. Scheduling with them is very easy. They call me a day before and give me a time window. They even bring their own cleaning supplies.

They did such a good job that they are going to be my monthly housecleaning service. The first guy who came in was very professional. The girls were very friendly and did a great job. The house is extremely clean. Specific jobs I asked were done. They are very professional. They bring their own products, which are green. They will use your products if you want them to.

Update: Maidbright offered us a 50% discount on services, which we believe was a good price for the services that were rendered. They did a good job on cleaning the appliances and windows. Maid Bright apologized and stated that they erred in scheduling such a large job so late in the day. We just purchased a condo. Previous owners had a dog, and they had left the place a little dirty, so we were looking for a deep cleaning. Started off well enough. Met with the estimator, he was very professional. Told us it would take their two-man team 2-3 hours, which I thought was a little on the short side. Said they could put extra effort into the kitchen. We were given an afternoon estimated time of arrival. The cleaners arrived at 2:45. I was busy with other repairs so wasn't paying too much attention. When they said they were done promptly at 5pm, I did a walkthrough. They deep cleaned the cabinets and drawers with a single spritz then one swipe with the cloth. Every single cabinet and drawer had dirt in the corners, about half still had visible dirt/hairs in the middle of the shelf/drawer. Several still had gunk stuck to them that would only come off with some elbow grease. Starting in the kitchen, I tried pointing out the various dirty drawers. They simply repeated the ineffective spritz and swipe, accomplishing nothing. After 20 minutes of this, I concluded that my time would be better spent doing it myself. Maid Bright called to follow up. We told them we were not pleased with the service. They offered to send out the same crew. However, we had no interest in having the same crew come out. Instead they gave us a $35 discount. While this was better than nothing, it was not sufficient to redo the work they were supposed to have done. My wife and I ended up cleaning all the cabinets ourselves. We then brought in another cleaning company to rewash the floors that were actually gritty with dirt in some places. If they mis-estimated the time it was going to take to deep-clean the house, that's fine, but rather than doing a half-job on the whole condo, requiring us to redo all their work, they should have done a good job on half the condo.

The team showed up on time and cleaned my apt very well. For this first cleaning they showed up with 3 people. They did an excellent job and the place was sparkling when they finished. For the next visit, the price is dropping to $95 and will be staffed by 2 people. I had a few areas that I wanted them to concentrate on cleaning a bit more and I was not disappointed. All good.
