Maid Bright

I hired them about 6 weeks ago to do weekly cleanings and an initial cleaning. The initial team did a very nice job, and the weekly team does as well. There are some things they won't do I would have liked, like taking dishes off open shelves to clean the shelves. However they do a very nice job of covering the things the say they cover. A little pricy for the weekly option, but I may just go to every other week instead.

I should have hired them long ago! I have now had two teams come in and both did a fabulous job. The teams know what I want to be done, divide up the house and go to town. In a little over an hour my house looks and smells clean and I know that they have touched places that I haven't since the last painting. Team members are very polite, with one serving as the primary spokesperson, and show enthusiasm for the job to be done. They ask questions if unsure of what I want, and stick to the work from start to end. I couldn't be more impressed!

They are a wonderful company. The two women who do our home are Vilma and Dilma. They are professional, personable, completely trustworthy, and a joy to have in our home. They do an excellent job. We are so pleased. As well, the owner of this company was the only owner I called that was willing to come to our home to survey our particular situation. I called many others and they said the fee over the phone but would not come out. He was so personable and we felt good with his company because he believed in his company enough to visit us personally..

The cleaning people did a good job. They were responsive to our specific needs. Our highlight was the friendly service from the people at the office. Especially, Ms. Sevgi was very helpful in accommodating our needs. Looking forward to working with this company.

They seemed professional but they didn’t suit my needs.

They were the only provider to come to my house and actually do a walk through with their estimate. They took the time to explain their cleaning process and what they were going to do for me. The owner was very nice and provided emails of all estimates and left a brochure about their company and process. The estimate was slightly higher than another I had received but I believed it was a fair price. The day before the service, the company called to confirm the appointment the day prior and gave me the arrival window. The crew arrived within the first hour of the window. They came right in, confirmed the work to be done and started right away. The crew worked hard and completed the job faster than estimated. Once complete, they asked me to do a walk through to be sure the job was done to my satisfaction. I identified a few areas that needed more attention and they immediately went back to clean those areas to my satisfaction. In the end they did a wonderful job and I would recommend them to anyone wanting a quality job. While they might not be the cheapest, remember you get what you pay for.

I did not choose this company because they insist on having customers give them a credit card number that they can keep on file in case checks bounce. Checking accounts nowadays have overdraft that cover this sort of problem. The company's policy is outdated. This is a completely unacceptable policy and no service of any kind that I have engaged has made this a condition. Further, when I originally explained that I was unwilling to provide credit card numbers, the manager agreed that he would accept another arrangement from me. I offered to give an advance in cash or by check which he could cash and hold on deposit for me. He agreed but when I called to arrange the services he then claimed this was not possible. The company also expects to have a key provided to the home as a typical arrangement and this is another term which is not something that has ever been my previous experience.

We are a family of 5 (with a big furry dog) renting a 2-story home in the DC metro area. We contacted Maid Bright through Angie's List. The were very responsive. This was a short notice request and they were able to manage the initial walk through on equally short notice. The service representative was very thorough and explained everything in detail. The initial whole house cleaning was scheduled within the week. I was very impressed with the ability to make this all happen in a very short amount of time -- essentially 5 days. Maid Bright called the evening before to leave a message reminder. The cleaning team arrived on time and immediately got to work. I had also called in a business to clean our finished basement carpet and furniture. The Maid Bright team worked effortlessly around the carpet cleaner and our dog (who was supervising the entire evolution). As predicted, the cleaning team completed the whole house clean on time (3 hours) and left our home spotless. I was very pleased with the thoroughness and attention to detail. We are very particular about the bathrooms and kitchen and were not disappointed AT ALL by the Maid Bright team. We were not inclined to work a regular cleaning rotation, but decided that we would bring them back on a regular basis after seeing the house when the cleaning team was finished. Maid Bright does not have contracts and you can retain them for bi-weekly or monthly services. Both are very reasonably priced for the level of effort and overall cleanliness. We highly endorse the Maid Bright team!

I have had the service for about a year. They come each month. They are always very timely, work quickly, efficiently, and are very courteous. They are always willing to give things more attention when needed. They will use the products that I prefer and provide to them. They call every month, and are very flexible whenever dates need to be changed. It is just a great service.

My wife was away from home for a month, serving the USG. During that time, I did all the marketing, cooking, cleaning and laundry for a household of four, while also holding down my regular employment. I had Maid Bright in for three hours the day before she returned. She was amazed to see the overall condition of the house better than it had been for years! Bathrooms weren't just clean, they were bright! Oven wasn't just clean, it was like new! She found it beyond belief until I admitted I had had Maid Bright in. I even got a one-time discount because of Angie's List. My wife has asked me to get Maid Bright back for the windows, then on bi-weekly contract.

They did a really great job. They showed up on time (called me ahead of time to let me know when they were showing up) and really worked hard. I set a limit on hours, and I was surprised how hard they worked in that time restriction. The company was also helpful with scheduling conflicts (we weren't in the area and they worked around my goofy schedule to get to the house).

They come on time and do a nice job. They check in to see if the people they send out have been okay, and of the four times we used them, we have only changed people once. They also charge a fair price.

After a little mixup in communication (I asked the team to call me when enroute; they showed up without calling and had to wait outside in the heat instead) things moved smoothly. The ladies called just before wrapping up the job. We walked through the apartment together. They pointed out a few problem areas and stated they would do their best. As they were wrapping up they called me and we walked through the cleaned apartment together. My only disappointment was that the team threw out the garbage receptacle belonging to the apartment complex - there's a fee to replace it. When I found what occurred Maid Bright offered to deduct the cost of the replacement receptacle from my bill. I could see how language might be challenge for some customers, but the team listened closely to instructions and asked questions. I also speak enough Spanish to communicate what I needed.

They were good and the cleaning was wonderful. I thought they could have been a little more gentle with the dusting as they were moving things. They sent 2 people out to do the job. They got the job done in about 2 hours.

Once again, Maid Bright has exceeded my expectations. I especially love coming home on the day the crew has been in to clean. The house smells fresh, the bathrooms are sparkling and order prevails! Honestly, I go from room to room admiring the thorough job they have done, and I am delighted. I had suspended cleaning service for a few months, and the day that the crew arrived to start cleaning again, the crew leader confirmed what would be done based on her previous work...she remembered which rooms required more or less attention! Needless to say that I was impressed for two reasons: first, the crew leader remembered the particular details of this job; second, the same crew returned! Knowing that I can count on the Maid Bright crew to remember small details and Sanaz to maintain a consistent rotation of crews, gives me confidence that the job will always be done well!!

I have been truly pleased with MaidBright-- from the free in-home estimate, to the scheduling, to the cleaning. Customer service has been excellent-- responsive, timely, and friendly. I have been very impressed with the cleaning crews work. They are very thorough, with an incredible attention to detail and a commitment to doing the job right the first time. They clearly take their time and focused on areas in need of special attention. I am a dog owner, and they have done a great job with all the dog hair (even vacuuming my couch!). It has been such a pleasure to come home to a spotless house!! I have signed on now for recurrent cleanings and I trust that the quality of the work will continue.

I have been using Maidbright since 2010, and their service has been consistent. We are on a monthly schedule, and they always come on the day specified (although times do vary). For the most part the cleaning is consistent but you can tell when it is not your usual cleaning crew coming in. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, it just shows that different crews have different methods. Ultimately though, the company is responsive and employs skilled cleaning crews.

The two ladies came in with cheerful smiles and got to work immediately. Followed my directions promptly and in a friendly manner.

The two cleaners were punctual and courteous. Did a great job getting all of the year-long dust/dirt ouf of the house. Nicely done!

Very complete cleaning. Covered 100% of what needed to be cleaned. Got spots off of kitchen floor that I thought could never be removed. Cleaned area around dish washer to perfection. Could not be more satisfied. Going to Biweekly Cleaning for as long as we are here.

Maid Bright promptly contacted us after we reached out via Angie's List. Yusuf quickly scheduled and arrived on time for our estimate appointment. He clearly and fully explained the service and the advantages of using Maid Bright ... family-owned, 100% employed staff (no sub contractors), cleaning process, and estimate. The day of the cleaning appointment, two maids arrived promptly and spent 7+ hours cleaning our large home. Very thorough, courteous, and professional. They did a very excellent job, especially in deep-cleaning many areas needing some attention after 10 years in the home. We will definitely use Maid Bright on a regular basis at our new home

The cleaning has been good. They are a little expensive but they do a pretty good job. Their office is very responsive.

I would recommend their service. It was wonderful to have a free quote by having them visit. You knew what to expect and that quote was accurate since they saw the house. The price quoted was a very fair price for our home. We had our first cleaning last week. They were on time, quick, worked hard and cleaned great. I was happy with the service so I am continuing with bi weekly recurring service.

, I have used Maid Bright's house cleaning services for several years. Previously, I had my house cleaned twice monthly. For the past year, I switched to once monthly. The maids work in teams of two. The teams that have cleaned my house have been professional and courteous. Maid Bright maids bring their own equipment and own cleaning supplies. And are also willing to use my supplies if requested. They work quickly and, in general, are thorough. I have had three different teams clean over the course of several years. I have been satisfied.
