Maid Bright

The Maid Bright staff that came to my house to clean were very punctual and paid great attention to detail in their work. They use color coded wipes to make sure that the one used to clean the bathroom was not used to clean the kitchen. I have very high expectation on service standards and MAID BRIGHT met it all. I definitely recommend the company.

I moved to Alexandria and needed to switch house cleaning services. I looked up Maid Bright on Angies List and they had great reviews. I called their office and they were very professional. A representative scheduled an appointment with me and showed up at that time. He went over their services, and gave me the price. I decided to try them. They crew showed up on time and did an excellent job. Very professional. I decided to use them for all my future cleanings.

The maids showed up about 10 minutes early and got right to work. They were professional (with smiles!) and wanted to do a good job, they were interested in the areas I had concerns about and addressed them almost entirely. I felt that there were only minor concerns as I walked through within the last hour which they corrected immediately. Probably one of the only real quality issues was the refrigerator cleaning, it sparkled and they did it so quickly and professionally - I was ready to give them a gold star rating for that alone! :) Unfortunately they overlooked the freezer and hadn't touched it, but they made it sparkle just like the fridge and was still out on time - so I believe it was likely an oversight anyone could make after working continuously for 5 hours on the house. We did notice after the maids were gone that a couple of new cleaning bottles underneath our bathroom sink were missing, it could be they confused them with their own and took them along accidentally. Maid Bright can fix this likelihood by putting a large label on their own bottles (ie: "MB") and declare nothing leaves the customer house if it doesn't have a label. The ladies were great cleaners which is obviously a natural strength, but organizing and tracking who's supplies are who's is not likely in the spectrum of that skillset...and Maid Bright can ensure their continued success by clearly labeling things so the team doesn't have to stop to think about it at every engagement. Just the thought I had on the topic. :)

They do a good job. They show up when they say they will and do what they said they will do for the price the company said it would charge. I've never met the cleaners themselves, but the company representatives I've dealt with by phone or email are very pleasant and professional. It's a very good company.

Overall Maid Bright does an excellent job. Out of the 5 cleaning services we've tried, my roommates and I are the happiest with Maid Bright, and have continued to be the customers. The quality and completeness of the cleaning is excellent. My only complaint, is with the scheduling. Scheduling requires a large window of availability, and sometimes that changes which can be inconvenient. Otherwise, I would highly recommend Maid Bright.

Called maid bright for a cleaning quote. They scheduled someone to come to my house and give me a quote. They showed up on time and provided me a detailed quote on their cleaning service. He indicated that the initial cleaning would be $69 per hour and would be approximately 4 hours. I scheduled the cleaning and there were two maids that showed up on time and started cleaning immediately. They thoroughly cleaned the master bedroom, master bath, hallways and the entire first floor. They worked the entire 4 hours they were at my house and even cleaned all the blinds and ceiling fans. I was very happy with the service and signed up for a bi-weekly cleaning service.

These ladies were fantastic. They showed right on time and were very considerate about our things as they cleaned our entire house. I plan on using them on a consistent basis.

These women are terrific. Not only are the very thorough, but they are so friendly and nice to our three toddlers who are always in their area. Thank you Olga and Regina, you are amazing!

Its going well. They sure about time and they did perfectly well, my reaction with them is very good. I will continue using them every two weeks.

I just received an estimate for home cleaning service from Maid Bright. I received an estimate for both 1 time clearning and monthly cleaning. The company was very responsive and easy to schedule. Yusuf showed up on time and was very professional and polite. He spent time providing plenty of information and answering all my questions. I was very impressed with their credentials, reviews, and professionalism. I scheduled them immediately for a 1 time cleaning and am debating monthly cleanings. I had hoped the price for the monthly clearning would be a little bit lower so that is my only hesitation. I will update this review after my cleaning.

I received a confirmation call the day before the cleaning stating the cleaning ladies would arrive between 8:30am and 10:00am. They were on time and ready to go at 8:30am. The ladies were quick and thorough. They did a great job on the floors and the kitchen cabinets. The appliances were well cleaned as well. I would have liked if they would have cleaned the interior windows, but that wasn't listed on their list of move out items to be cleaned, so I'll do them myself. The blinds are still a little dusty as well. I would use Maid Bright again for a move out cleaning.

7/2/15 update - I had the cleaning reperformed this past Tuesday and am very pleased with the results. The house was very clean and this time it was actually left smelling clean too. There were a few spots with a tiny bit of dust above window sills that I didn't notice until after they left, but it was so minor that I am still happy with the cleaning. Also, they did not vacuum the bugs out of one light fixture (which our former maid company always did); however, I did not point this out to them so I will not fault them for that. Overall I am pleased enough with this cleaning to begin scheduling biweekly with this company assuming this level of quality continues. What I appreciate the most is how attentive this company is about following up on their cleanings and their dedication to fixing problem cleanings. Based on the overall experience and the final cleaning I have updated the review accordingly and advise others to try this service. 6/25/15 update - spoke to Yusuf to clarify the service (was purchased under my husband's name). He was very concerned with the quality of the cleaning and is sending out a team to reperform the service. Will update review afterwards Original post - Maids were really slow, taking about 30 minutes just to dust blinds in one room. At one point I went upstairs and found one on the phone and she said she had to speak with their headquarters. We've had many maid services with varying results but have never had any team that moved so slowly through the house. This would have been great if it resulted in a deep clean, but the cleaning service was just average. I had to point out places where there was clearly dust on a ledge or light switch. Also, we specifically asked for the floor boards to be cleaned before the service, but they were barely touched (failed the finger test) . I pointed this out to the maids and they first just wiped a cloth along them, but when I again rubbed my finger on them and showed them how easy the dust would be to remove with a wet cloth they finally went around the house touching up the floor boards and light switches by spraying them with cleaning and quickly wiping them. This ultimately did the trick and cleaned the boards, but overall I was very disappointed to have to point this out and for how long it took to get a satisfactory cleaning.

Two women arrived early, and were very polite and friendly and quickly got to work. They didn't talk or waste time, they just worked hard! There was a little bit of a language problem, but they were very eager to understand my pigeon Spanish! I felt the women were very responsible and trustworthy, so I felt comfortable leaving them in the condo alone. When I arrived home later that day, I was so happy, to finally have a clean, sanitized home! They made my bed beautifully, polished faucets and sinks, the floors were clean, my bathrooms and kitchen were sanitized, and with the eco-friendly materials they used, it did not affect my allergies. I was happy to call the office and ask for regular service every 2 weeks! I would recommend this group to anyone. If they could clean my dirty, neglected home, they can do yours!

I wasn't happy with their work. I felt that they gave my apartment a nice once-over but did not do any real deep cleaning. Since then, however, I have talked with someone from their office, and I am impressed with the commitment he shows towards satisfying my needs. He offered to have someone come back and remedy the problems I had identified, but I had already cleaned those areas myself and I felt that the problem was probably apartment-wide, so it would amount to a second cleaning. As a result, he said that he wouldn't charge me for the first visit, and we agreed to schedule a second cleaning for the very near future. It seems that I need to provide his staff with more specific instructions as to how to clean various parts of the apartment and since they use only green cleaning supplies, possibly provide them with my own supplies to clean any areas that their supplies don't handle up to my standards.

Maid Bright does an excellent job. We have used them twice now and have been very pleased. The house looked sparkling clean and they seem to be very thorough. We would definitely recommend them!

I was not pleased with the quality of their work. The first deep cleaning was fine. But once I signed up to have them come regularly, the quality went down the drain. They forgot to clean surfaces of furniture. The kitchen counters were not cleaned well. I had them come back to re-clean the stove and the cleaners basically told me they couldn't clean it. There was grease on the grates over the burners and they simply had to remove them and clean them thoroughly with something other than a microfiber cloth. They said that they would only use the microfiber cloths and if that didn't work, they couldn't clean it. So after they left, I had to spend 30 minutes cleaning the grates with a steel wool sponger and some simple green. Came right off - just took a little time and elbow grease. Apparently, something they weren't willing to do. Maybe it's just me, but I thought the point of paying cleaners is so you don't have to clean after they leave.

Great, Maid Bright staff was courteous, responsive, did a great job. We are definitely going to use them every two weeks to keep our home clean.

My husband and I were looking for a company to hire for our house cleaning needs. We researched several companies and came across Maid Bright on Angie's List. The initial call in and scheduling process was very smooth and the office staff were very friendly and accommodating. We scheduled Maid Bright to come and clean our current home and have been very pleased since the initial cleaning for some time now. Recently, we purchased a new home because of the need for our growing family and enlisted in Maid Bright's move-in cleaning services. The property has been recently renovated, so it was a bit of a mess, but the Maid Bright crew did a fabulous job and the house looks great. The move-in process has been smoother, thanks to the Maid Bright team.

The estimator was prompt and professional, thorough in his presentation and estimate. The cost was higher than we were ready to pay at the time, but the company is one we will consider in the future.

The Maid Bright representative that came out to provide my estimate was professional and clear in his explanations. I've used this company before in December of 2012 and was very pleased at the time with their work. The cleaning this time was good, but not as good as the first time I used them. The team of two women was wonderfully pleasant and responsive when I asked them to do something. They spent 4 1/2 hours cleaning the three levels of my home. While this team worked hard, they didn't seem to be quite as detail oriented as I would have liked.

We love the services we receive from Maid Bright. We first hired them for cleaning services at our home in Ashburn, VA. We had a seven bedroom, two story home. They did weekly cleanings of our main living areas and monthly deep cleanings of the entire home. We were always impressed with the result. Recently we moved to Arlington and our service was transferred immediately. We couldn't be happier.

Overall I was pleased with the end results. I must add that I was a little disappointed that the ladies didn't /couldn't clean the wire closet racks as we had asked them. I understood them to say that they couldn't clean the closet racks. However, I found that with a little 'elbow grease' I could clean them, however this took up my time which is why I hired the cleaners. I also had a light fixture in the dining room that was noticeably dirty. I did ask if they cleaned all light fixtures and they said that they had, but when they left I checked the dining room light it was incredibly dirty. The ladies did put plastic contact paper in my cabinets which was going above and beyond. I appreciated their willingness to do it. They were pleasant ladies and mainly did a good job. I would just double check behind them to make sure that everything was done to my satisfaction completely and not just take their word for it.

Great! They do an excellent, thorough cleaning job every time. The company is easy to work with, flexible, and reliable. I would recommend to anyone!

The Maid Bright team was great from start to finish. They responded quickly via phone; they came to see the unit and provide an estimate; they were extremely helpful in setting a time to come and clean on short notice; they called when they said they would; the team came when they said they would; and the women did a thorough job cleaning. I would definitely recommend this company service's.
