Maid Bright

Maid Bright was dependable and did an exceptional cleaning on our home before we moved in. They were extremely thorough with their cleaning and paid attention to every detail in the house. I was impressed by how efficient they were and took their time in ensuring everything looked great! I also liked how easy it was to schedule service and to obtain a free home estimate. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to get any type of house cleaning.

MaidBright was terrific. The two cleaning ladies were professional, competent and very kind. They even found a gold ring which was lost and returned it to my mother. Did a great job cleaning.

After reading Angie's List reviews, we scheduled a consult for an initial estimate. The man who came to our house gave a detailed description of cost and services that would be performed. We scheduled an initial deep cleaning, which went well. We did have one complaint, which was that the maids wore their sneakers in our house and did not put the booties over their shoes as was promised - a little annoying since we never wear shoes in our house because of small children crawling around on the floor. However, when that was brought up to the maids they immediately put the booties over their sneakers and apologized profusely. A representative from Maidbright called for feedback regarding the first visit, and I told her we were pleased with almost everything except for the shoes - she assured it would not happen again and helped us set-up and schedule out our bi-weekly cleaning on our specified day (Fridays!). Thank you! Unfortunately, another team of maids came for the second visit and also did not wear the booties. But again, like the first ladies, they were very nice and apologized profusely when asked to put them over their sneakers. Overall, we are very happy with the service provided. The maids have all been very professional and have done a very nice job with the cleaning. No, it has not been perfect, but I do like the way my concerns have been handled thus far - from both the onsite cleaning staff and the management. I would definitely recommend Maidbright to friends and family.

I've been using maidbright for almost four years now. They do a good job cleaning, but what separates them from the rest is their level of professionalism. They have never once been late to an appointment and are often able to accommodate last minute changes. Once or twice I have had minor damage to my property and they have always been very willing to fix whatever was broken. Lots of people clean well, but Maidbright is a true pleasure to work with.

Overall they do a very good job. The floors look polished and the kitchen is thoroughly wiped down and the sink cleaned. They also tidy up clutter (for example, gathering up magazines and remote controls) into little piles which makes everything look cleaner. Areas that I have had to bring to their attention generally involve odd areas of the house. For example, I have had to ask them to dust and sweep my storage room. Also I have to take extra steps to prepare the house to ensure some of the harder to reach areas are cleaned. For example, I move my media cabinet and other movable pieces of furniture away from the walls for some visits so that they will vacuum/sweep any dust bunnies that cling to the cable wires or the back of the furniture. (I think they are not allowed to move furniture.) They use green products which are fine but I don't find them very effective with respect to eliminating mold in the bathroom. So the days they visit, I leave a bleach-based bathroom cleaner in plain sight in the bathroom and they do use that for the bathroom area. I also think they have a rule about not climbing stepstools. I live in a Victorian house with high ceilings and built-in shelves. The items on my upper shelves (which can only be reached using a stepstool) are never dusted. I believe the members of the team change which means sometimes the quality of the service changes or I need to remind MB about requests I had already made, were fully addressed by MB's prior cleaning crews, but suddenly become an issue again. These issues are unavoidable and I want to emphasize that MB has always been extremely responsive to my comments and requests. Another matter I want to emphasize that is that in the five years I have been using MB, not once has anything been mistreated, misplaced, or stolen. The house has always been safely locked when I return. In addition, while MB requests 72 hours advance cancellation notice, they have been very courteous about accommodating cancellations that I have requested that fall closer than 72 hours to the service date. Once I was ill, didn't want anyone in the house, and cancelled that same morning, and they didn't charge for that.

After two bad cleanings I stopped using Maid Bright. It felt like they took a wet rag and just wiped down my house. Sinks had soap marks on them, items were not straightened and floors were left dirty. I gave then two chances to correct it thinking they would send better people, but it did not improve. I would not recommend them and especially for $140 a cleaning. I have gotten better service from one person solo cleaning the whole house.

This is the best cleaning service we have ever used. They send reminders the day before giving you a two-hour arrival window. If you ask them to pay particular attention to a certain area they will do so. Very reliable. Flexible if you need to change your usual cleaning day.

They got better overtime. I think there were some issues at that point because I had a dog. I really did not know when they were showing up. I know what day they would come, but there were quite a few times when I thought they were coming in the morning and they came late in the day. It just seemed uncertain.

The service is fine. I have used them for quite a while now. I am very pleased with them.

They are a little short so they cannot reach everywhere, but they do a pretty good job.

I recently had my first cleaning with Maid Bright. Before you schedule your cleaning they send someone over to do a consultation. They were prompt and friendly. On the day of my cleaning service the ladies arrived within the time window provided and were very polite and nice. They did a nice job cleaning my condo and I am happy with the service. They are a little more expensive than previous services I have used but do seem to do a good job.

The crew arrived on time and prepared. They had all the information they needed, didn't have any questions, and went right to work. I left to go to work, and when I got back that evening everything was clean. Payment was easy (with a credit card on file) and per my request the cleaning crew brought the door key back to the office, which is coded (not using the home address) and kept secure in a locked box. Seamless, high quality service at a very reasonable price is how I would characterize Maid Bright.

We got our weekends back. The maids cleaned our entire home. Our bathrooms look like new. If you leave out sheets they'll change and make the bed. Feels like hotel service service. They also vacuumed the couch and pillows. Our kitchen and bathrooms sparkle.

Staff was punctual, pleasant, diligent and efficient in cleaning the house. The end result was worth the cost!

We have used this company since October of 2015. We were happy and only had a few issues that were addressed and handled. The last month things started falling apart. The cleaning had gone downhill. My last cleaning this past Thursday was the final straw. They ruined my guest bathroom tray, put a HUGE scratch on my newly painted wall, did not clean bathroom floors and the overall house looked like they only took 30 min to clean. I called and they sent a supervisor to meet with me. He was VERY argumentative. He made excuse after excuse saying things like we all have bad days ect ect., but never offering a solution. I did not want excuses, I wanted a resolution. I chose this company based upon all the high ratings, and I was very happy, but all good things must come to an end I guess.

They arrived on time and cleaned our three level (3 bedroom, 3.5 bath) townhouse in two short hours. They were thorough, professional and did an overall good job. I did have to apply bleach cleaner to a few spots in the master bath shower that were missed and no checklist was left as promised in the consult, but I was otherwise pleased. They followed up immediately afterwards to ensure quality of performance. I will use them again. I have bee very impressed with the professionalism of their employees, ranging few the service manager who came out to give me a price estimate, the office staff who scheduled the service and followed up afterwards, and the housekeepers who performed the cleaning. Maid Bright is a quality operation.

I have been using Maid Bright housecleaning service every two weeks for more then a year. I am very satisfied. Their office staff is quick to respond with scheduling changes and other questions. Their teams arrive on time and ready to work. I have tried other companies t that were not reliable. The company comes when i am not at my residence and leaves it very clean.

Maid Bright did an excellent job. This is the first service so I will see if the trend continues on future cleanings. I was very pleased with the overall job. The pricing was competitive with the market and the staff was very helpful. I would definitely recommend them.

Before the scheduled first cleaning, we've had correspondence with their office. Their customer service is excellent. They are very prompt and thorough in responding to our questions. They always address our concerns. On the day of the first cleaning, the ladies came within the window of time they have specified. Unfortunately, they had to leave in order to retrieve a key they left at the first house they serviced. However, they promptly notified us before leaving and came back as soon as they were able in order to start their cleaning. The ladies were very pleasant, professional, and thorough. They left the house clean but without the overpowering smell of harsh chemicals. We are very much looking forward to our succeeding cleaning schedules with similar wonderful results. We will likely point out a thing or two to keep an eye on but otherwise, our experience with our first house cleaning was a very positive one.

We've been using Maid Bright for almost 3 years now. They have always been professional and easy to work with when you have to change dates of cleaning. We use them for bi-weekly cleaning of our small 1000 sq ft. row house. The crew is always on time and friendly. For the most part, the cleaning has been good. There have definitely been times when I questioned if they even touched our shower, etc. - but I'd have to say, overall we've been pleased. If we had issues, they always address them and gave us some discount for our understanding. One time I was at work and received a call from their office. They said that one of their cleaners broke a figure in our bedroom and they wanted to replace it/pay for it. It's nice that they took the first step, before we returned home from work. They have increased their prices since we first hired them. We plan to move soon, so we will compare prices again before we decide to use Maid Bright at our new home - but if their rate is competitive, we will keep them.

Very Disappointed. There was a clear disconnect between what I was told would be done in the sales visit with Oscar, and what the crew planned to do when they arrived the following week. The condo was completely empty and in pretty good/clean condition to start with, but I wanted a thorough cleaning to prep for next tenant. I went over all the specifics with Oscar, including things such as cleaning bathroom vent fan grates, inside cabinets and drawers, inside stove and refrigerator, blinds, trim, etc. On the agreed date, the cleaning crew showed up late; they did not contact me to say there were running late, and on arrival, offered no apology or explanation. I showed them the condo and reviewed what was to be done (no changes to what Oscar and I had discussed) -- they seemed a bit surprised at scope, as if they did not understand and had only come to do a light cleaning. As an example, when I showed them the kitchen, I told them the inside of the refrigerator (which was completely empty) and inside of oven (which was relatively new and unused) were to be washed and cleaned. The response was, "oh ... you want that done too?". When I asked about cleaning all of the cabinets (which were totally empty), and the wood baseboard and window trim, the response was a very muted, "ok ... we will do that too". These responses left me unsettled; it was as if they felt this was being added to the work, so I asked how long it would take them. They said it would take 2 to 3 hours to complete. I left to run errands and returned in just under 2 hours. The crew was gone and had left the door to the condo open ... not just unlocked ... but actually open. I went to the condo reception desk and asked if they saw them leave. The concierge told me that had left about 10 minutes prior. I went to the parking lot to see if they were still there, but the van was gone. Even though the condo was vacant, I had over $1000 of tools and materials in it, and leaving the Unit open was just gravely unsatisfactory service. Seems attention to detail was not a strong suit of the team assigned to this project. On inspection of the cleaning, I was very disappointed to find a number of things that were either not done, or done quite poorly. First and foremost, leaving the condo door open is deserving of an F rating, even if the cleaning had been outstanding, which in this case, t was not. Bathrooms looked to have been wiped down, but not thoroughly cleaned - vent grilles had not been touched, and master bath sink/counter and fixtures had a white film on them. The top of refrigerator did not appear to have been cleaned ... I wiped it, and the cloth was black with dirt and dust. Likewise, the hardwood in the kitchen living room hardwood floors may have been swept, but it was certainly not washed as I requested; again, I damp mopped it, and the pads I used were very dirty. I'm also not convinced the oven and refrigerator were cleaned as I requested. Don't know if this was an off day for this particular crew, or exactly why things went so poorly, but I was disappointed given the high marks this company has received from so many others on Angie's List. I did contact the company the same day as I discovered the problems, and they apologized and offered to send the crew back to complete the job. As I was in a time crunch to prep the Unit, I declined and completely the cleaning myself. My biggest complaint was about leaving the Unit open -- while nothing was stolen, it is again grossly unsatisfactory. The company promised to review the matter with the crew. I'd be hesitant to use this company again. UPDATED REVIEW 20 Apr 2016 I was contacted by the company owners who personally apologized for the events associated with this service visit. They refunded the entire amount of the service, and offered some possible reasons for the outcomes. Their personal attention in the matter warrants an increase in my rating for Management/Professionalism, and their discussion of the events surrounding the services provided likewise gave me cause to slightly increase the quality, and therefore overall, rating. Based on so many very positive reviews from others, I have to believe that my experience with Maid Bright was an anomaly, for whatever the reason(s), and on reconsideration, I would probably consider giving them another chance down the road.

This is an excellent cleaning service whose crews all seem to have a English-speaking capability, which is a big help. They're also cheerful and nice. Cleaning is excellent and arrival is reliable. They also have good phone-answerers. Overall you can't ask for much more.

I just want to let you know how satisfied I am with this cleaning crew. I have been using Maid Bright since October of 2015. Prior to hiring Maid Bright I had a very good maid that insisted on using commercial cleaners. Maid Bright is very thorough. Not only do they clean better but they do so using green cleaners, they clean more items, and they do it faster. And the best thing is that I have not had an upper respiratory reaction since hiring them. i am glad I found them and look forward to maintaining their services. the price quote that I mentioned is base on a scheduled monthly cleaning with the initial cleaning being the exception: the initial visit was close to $200.00 With that said hiring Maid Bright to clean my home has been one of the best decisions I have made.

We have had Maid Bright clean our house several times and they have done a really good job.
