Maid Bright

The first crew they sent me was quite good until they weren't. After several cleanings there was a cleaning where very little was done. I happened to be in a hurry to go out that day, and they were early. I asked them to clean upstairs first so that I could take a shower and get dressed after. When I went up to my bathroom after they "finished" I was quite surprised to find that the tub remained dusty and several things hadn't been cleaned properly. I asked them to do the missed items, while I took my shower and dressed in my guest room. The guest bathroom was fine, but the dusting in the bedroom was not. They cleaned the rest of the house after I left. When I returned home I was surprised to find that they had done a poor job of dusting on the first floor as well, so I sent an email about the problems. When they contacted me, they asked if I wanted a new crew. I said no as this crew had been fine the other times they cleaned. The day before the next cleaning, they informed me that they were sending a different crew. I decided to observe this crew to avoid having to ask them to return, which is generally inconvenient. I happened to be standing in my kitchen when one of the ladies dumped the dirt from my boot tray onto my wood floors. I was not happy. The purpose of the boot tray is to keep that dirt off my floors. Shortly after that, the dirt pile not having been cleaned up, one of the other ladies, walked through the pile, dragging the dirt around the house on her shoes, I assume. I called for her to stop because of the dirt on the floor. I was very disappointed because at least the original crew were good cleaners. I assume I emailed them about the problem because a couple of days later I received an email that someone wanted to come see me about my questions. The man came and asked something about how things were going. I told him that the new crew had done a wonderful job of cleaning my kitchen counters, but that I was upset about the dirt being dumped on my floor. He said that was how they cleaned. I said that I didn't want my floors scratched by their people walking through outside dirt. He advised me that they could no longer clean my house because the ladies were "uncomfortable" that I watched them clean. That is absurd to me. This is my home, and I didn't know them at all. Also, they usually ask if everything is okay, but I don't believe they want to wait 15 minutes or so while I try to assess. If the ladies do not want the homeowner in the room while they clean, what is the reason? Are they looking for something to steal, or do they just not want me to see how they clean. Either way, it's not acceptable.

The cleaning team was on time and extremely thorough. They cleaned spaces the previous cleaning company never touched. I have signed up for monthly service and they have made another visit. The quality is still very good. Rescheduling an appointment was easy. Maid Bright continues to do an outstanding job and I would highly recommend them.

They set a consultation a few days in advance to give more information about the service, and to get a tour of the house to know what they would need to do. On the day scheduled, they arrived on time, and were very polite, professional, and thorough in their cleaning.

It is al nice to have a company I have trusted for years to clean my house and to do a great job at a wonderful rate. I live a busy life in the DMV area, therefore I need professional services to help me maintain my house, and Maidbright delivers every time. Thank you, keep up the work and lovely customer service!

I have used this company for 5+ years. Initially, it was all good but as time has gone on, their quality has decreased. It has become fairly evident that they clean quickly but not thoroughly. In addition, over the years three items have been broken, mostly sentimental in value and none replaceable. Another annoying aspects is their changing arrival times. They notify you 72 hours prior to cleaning the arrival time (within a 2 hour window) and kindly remind you that you can change your time up to 72 hours (so you can't change your arrival time). But once a month, MaidBright will change their arrival time the day of with minimal notice, sometimes as much as 8 hours earlier. For those like myself, who plan accordingly, this is extremely inconvenient and stressful. This morning was one of the changed times. I have put up with the average to poor cleaning this long since it seems to be industry wide, but I don't appreciate the way they treat their clients and am now looking for a new cleaning company.

The ladies were scheduled to arrive at 10 a.m. They were early but waited in the car until 10 O'clock to come to the door. They were friendly and asked questions which I think enables them to meet my expectations. I was delighted to see them use a stool to get up where they could reach to do a good job on my bathroom lights and mirrors. In addition, they have the longest long reach duster I have ever seen. They were able to dust even the peak of the cathedral ceiling in my bedroom. During the cleaning one of the 2 ladies received a phone call which came from the office of Maid Bright. She spoke for a while while cleaning the tub area with one hand. A few minutes after that called ended another came. This time the second woman came in and while on the phone, they shared information. It appeared the call was to discuss the next house they were to clean. The conversations took a total of 10 or 15 minutes, after which, the woman cleaning the bathroom proceeded to clean the mirror and vanity area. This disturbed me because I had sent an email, prior to this first cleaning, asking that no one talk on the phone and clean at the same time because the parts of the cleaning that get done during the phone call are never done well. I had received a response saying that my concerns would be discussed with the crew. I don't believe that conversation took place. After the cleaning I sent an email to the company expressing my dismay that on the very first cleaning the ladies were interrupted by the office (and her work interfered with), I received a response that clearly did not address the issue. I sent email. It now appears that they understand. The crew left my home at 12:45. The first cleaning is priced by time. Subsequent cleanings are a fixed price absent special requests. When the charge was put through, we were charged for 3 hours. My husband called the company because the crew was not at my home for 3 hours, and 10 or 15 minutes of that time was spent talking with the office about cleaning someone else's home. They say they are crediting us back for half an hour. It does not appear that that has happened yet but I am trusting that it will. The price listed below is the price I expect to have paid after the credit us issued. Let me emphasize that the ladies did a very good job of cleaning my home. I am hoping that these minor glitches can be overcome.

Maid bright was great to work with. Their booking team is SUPER responsive, and their supervisor gave a very thorough quote. Our cleaning crew was great and we are planning on using them again for our next cleaning.

I highly recommend Maid Bright. After initial contact a representative met with me to assess the work and identify options. Ahmed is exceptionally professional and courteous. I got three bids and his was the most competitive. The cleaners arrived on time and did a great job throughout the house. The granite countertops in the kitchen shine like new!

They did a great job. My only complaint was that the toilets were not cleaned very well.

Wow! Just WOW! I’ve never seen such attentive cleaning. First, there wasn’t a spot missed, including behind objects and under furniture. The baseboards were not only dusted but actually appeared polished. The place smelled clean upon entering the door but not like cleaning products. Just can’t say enough about how thorough a job was done. I highly recommend this crew! Truly, thank you. What an awesome team is on my side!

So far, the company has been great. From the initial estimate to the first cleaning, everyone was on time and professional. They were able to accommodate me for the bi-weekly cleaning day that worked fro my schedule.

I am fairly particular when it comes to cleaning and have had numerous cleaners in the past, but Maid Bright did an exceptional cleaning job. From the first contact I was impress with the company. Leslie came out and walked through my house to give me an estimate, the price was reasonable. When I saw how much the cleaning crew did I felt it was worth every penny. In addition, the company communicates with you, so you know when they will show up and checks in to ensure you are satisfied after the cleaning. I would highly recommend them!

I contacted them and was promptly visited for an estimate. The estimate was provided to me on the spot...no "I will get back to you". The initial cleaning of my single family home was fantastic. They arrived at the scheduled time and cleaned exactly as promised. I was so impressed I went ahead and scheduled recurring cleaning.

The service provided was professional and thorough, 2 people showed up and took them about 3hrs to complete. I will hire them again.

Start using them a couple of months ago and so far so good. The ladies pay close attention to detail and clean quite well.

The service was excellent. Very prompt and professional, both in the scheduling and the cleaning service. I've finally come to the conclusion that I just don't have time to do everything and this was the easiest thing to allow someone else to do. Would definitely recommend and will be using them again for regular cleanings.

Maid Bright is a life-saver! I had them to my house after we had some construction in the basement and they did a phenomenal job of cleaning all of the dust and dirt away. The crew was extremely nice and thorough and really cleaned extensively and according to my instructions. I will definitely use them again!

The 2 maids spent 4 hours doing the initial cleaning. They were very good, although they did miss cleaning dust under the couch that was on hardwood floors - which typically also get mopped, so not sure they cleaned the floors well with dust still on the wood. There was also residual dust not wiped from my surround sound speakers in the basement. I did appreciate the punctuality but had a bit of a struggle communicating with the two maids due to language barriers. However they were friendly and worked the entire time.
