Now to date my issues are that the drive way looks bad and where they did the big patch job by the patio not only looks bad but water is getting under the aspaltand coming up in the middle of the driveway. I called Tim to explain what was happening and my concerns and once again he showed his hot head and almost started to call me names. I am sure this will pop as soon as it freezes this winter and he will have to fix this. I have to give him a chance to fix it. great price but how long will it last. We will see. Tim is not a good business man maybe a truck driver . He should have someone else do his sales and all of his client talking.
Description of Work: To start I saw this company sealing a driveway across the street and I ask them if they do driveways as new asphalt and this guy said yes. Jr he came over and measured it out and gave me a price. It sound fair price and so when the time was right I called and spoke to the owner I think it was Tim. Anyway he came out to look the job over and he said he would do the job for $2500.00 and I said okay when can you start and he said he would start that friday. Well he couldn't then because one of his trucks broke down so it was put off to that the 20th okay that is fine. Tim came out and started the job removing the old driveway and later some of the other guys came onto the job. Well Tim was the only truck driver and so when he empty the truck with aspalt the other guys just waited. Now I can show you everytime they had to stop because it looks like they have a break line. When they were done they went across the street because I lined up anyother job for them and so Tim took off $200.00 for that job for me. Well at the end of the job for me they messed up in 2 areas. one at the beginning of the driveway that they had to redo and have a big cut line all the way across the driveway. The other is a very big issue. We just re did our patio and the water is to go down the driveway and I said it is very important for this to be done. Tim said yes he under stands and they will do it. Well it did not happen that way. I called Tim and talked to him and said it wasn't correct and he is a very hot head and he said he would take a look at it. He came over and he start to get ugly with me and once I showed him what I meant he said he would make it right. So they grained the new driveway and then his son put new aspalt down and still messed it up. Then the tech came and used the roller manytimes to where I said it was better not perfect.

Driveway is a very long driveway shared by three neighbors. The existing driveway of 24 years age was removed and a new one installed. The company reviewed our requirements and provided a proposal for the job to redo the common drive. Each neighbor also had extensions off the common driveway and was provided a separate proposal for their specific driveway. We agreed on a date and the company was on the job as agreed at 8am in the morning both days. The first day was removing the asphalt and the second day was installing gravel, a base coat, and a top coat. They worked until 6pm both days and at the end walked the project with us. We were very pleased. We provived the company a check upon completion. We were very pleased. We provided a cooler of refreshmenst including water, soda, and sandwiches which allowed them to stay on the job basically the whole time. We also inspected the job throughout the day to make sure it was being done as we wanted since sometimes the reality might be interpreted slightly different from what was in the proposal. They made sure it was exactly the way we wanted.
