A-1 CONCRETE LEVELING

The team arrived on time and began promptly on the work to be done at my home. They willingly explained the process to me whenever I had questions. While a quote had been provided in advance, the actual needs of filling the gap required additional materials and a new quote was provided that was satisfactory. The work went smoothly and the clean up process was excellent. I am very satisfied with the work done and would definitely use this company again.

I was pretty disappointed to not even get an email back from A-1 and we ended up using a competitor.

They're good. They got it in one day. The work has been good. It's held up and it hasn't shifted at all. It looks perfectly leveled. I had no issues. It made it to winter time without resettling down again. I'm very happy with the work. The people were fine. They showed up on time. They got it done quickly.

I give them all A's and will use them again in the future.

Over the years the sidewalk at the base of our front steps had gradually sunk so that the bottom step was almost twice as deep as the other steps. I e-mailed Mark at A1 Concrete Leveling with the measurements and a picture of the steps so he could give me an estimate for the repair. Mark replied with an estimate of just under $1200 within 24 hours. We scheduled the work for early May. Mark's team (of 2) arrived on time and got right to work. As the pavement sank, it had also slipped forward under the bottom step, so it had to be cut before it could be raised. Once this was completed, they drilled 4 holes into the slab and started pumping concrete under it, raising the slab to the proper height. When they were finished, they plugged the holes and seams with a matching caulk to allow for expansion and contraction as the weather changes. It took them about 3 or 4 hours to complete the job. Even though I happened to be home, it wasn't necessary for me to be there for them to perform their work. They just needed ready outdoor access to water and electricity. When they finished, the team left everything neat and orderly. We were able to use the steps immediately, except for the caulked sections. It's been a month since we had the work done and we're very happy with the results. I'd recommend A1 to anyone who needs to have concrete "correction" type work done.

Alex came out and he was fantastic. Explained everything and how the process would work. He spent a lot of time explaining it. After the job and even while he was doing it he explained the whole process.

The 2 workers were professional, polite, very knowledgeable about the process, very neat, very friendly.

Alex came and gave the estimate and the estimate was very reasonable. Alex was also there while the work was being done. He took his time explaining it. They were very prompt and the work excellent.

Arrived on time and pumped a truck full of concrete under the step to solidify the foundation and prevent further cracking. Alex and assistant finished the job within three hours and was on the money with the estimate. Overall, Alex and his assistant did a clean and professional job. Definitely A-1, pun intended!

Weather made it difficult to start the project. Several times it had to be postponed because of temperature, snow or rain. Mark Hawley was great about communicating and thus I was able to keep the community informed. The on site crew was also great at communicating. They explained the process, showed the work being done and how it would resolve our issue. This company contact info will be retained in our database as a "go to company" should we have further issues of this type.

I have hired them repeatedly. They did an outstanding job. They are extremely confident, responsive and professional. They offer great pricing. I would recommend them to everyone.

They gave a very professional estimate and explanation of the services offered, after seeing the photos I had uploaded to their web site. Alec and his assistant did an excellent job of lifting the 2 sidewalk concrete parts, and then ground down the raised area on the driveway that was a tripping risk. They carefully added the special concrete slurry to raise it to match the garage entrance,sidewalk rectangles,and the other side of the driveway. Then they added special caulking to allow the areas to expand and contract as needed (with extremes of weather), to avoid further problems. When the caulk level dropped slightly, they promptly came back to add a little more to keep it all level. I can highly recommend this company's services.

A1 Conrete Leveling returned my call promptly and did the estimate quickly. The work was completed in just a few days and only took 4-5 hours. The price was a fraction of what removing and re-pouring new concrete. They did a fantastic job and it looks GREAT. Will definately use them again and refer them to others. Thanks guys.

I contacted Mark via email to get an estimate for getting my front concrete walkway/steps fixed. He was very quick in responding and requested a few more detailed photos which I provided and he got me an estimate within the next day or two. Basically, my front walkway/steps had sunk about 2.5" leaving a trip hazard next to the sidewalk. His price was very reasonable and MUCH cheaper than having someone come out and jackhammer and repour. He showed up exactly on time and was here about 3 hours and the job turned out excellent. It looks perfect and I would definitely recommend his service to anyone who needs this sort of thing done. He was a super nice guy too, and spent a good time explaining how to care for and maintain the repair, and how to avoid this in the future.

I contacted A-1 Concrete Leveling through their website and requested a quote. After three weeks without a response, I left a message on their answering machine. He called back that same day and visited my property within just a day or two; however, I was not appreciative of the delay in getting the quote. I contacted another company on Angie's List and they had great communication and their quote was considerably less money.

I called and left a message but never got a return call. I also contacted the company through their website and have yet to hear back from them. :(

The firm did the work in a very professional way. When it was necessary to reschedule due to bad weather, we were called prompt and the date was rescheduled to our satisfaction.

A-1 arrived on-time and immediately began working. Some holes were drilled in the cement slabs at strategic locations and the "mud" was injected at different locations to properly move the slabs. It was truly amazing to see where there were voids under the slabs and how filling holes in other slabs effected the leveling of adjacent slabs. The project took approximately 3 hours and my sidewalk is now perfectly level. A-1 did an outstanding job of explaining the process, doing the work and cleaning up. They were extremely friendly and it was apparent that they enjoyed the work they were doing. I would highly recommend them for leveling work.

Mark arrived on time to examine the problems, discussed recommendations and proved his initial estimate. His estimate was based on one truckload of concrete, but he said he had no way of knowing how deep the void under the steps was until they started pumping the concrete compound. This was reasonable. He arrived with a technician on time to do the work. They drilled holes in the concrete and pumped in the concrete compound into each hole. They hydraulically raised the concrete walkway slabs using the same material. The holes were sealed and leveled and the space between the steps and walkway were caulked. They were professional, efficient, and friendly and cleaned up the area before leaving.

A sidewalk along garage to the house porch had a big and long void. The company made four holes in four different sections of the sidewalk and filled void with grout. Everything was fine. I called some other concrete coampies and got a proposal from one of them but they would not drill holes and fill from top. They would fill from a side. It was cheaper but I thought that is more appropriate to do mudjacking instead to make sure that all void is filled.

These guys were great. They responded right away. They were a few days late on coming and giving me an estimate but since they were so responsive with everything else I think it was just a fluke. After Mark left an estimate I called and he explained his drawings and what needed to be done. He was patient and professional. They did the work on the day they said they would and I have had no problem. I would use them or recommend them to anyone.

Great job, professionally done. Work was within estimate and they even did a bit more than what was included in the estimate for the same price. I've now decided to use them again to level our front walk way.
