I've had 2 delightful experiences with John Webb's electrical services over the past few months. He first came out to install a new range vent hood. He did a great job and his fee was reasonable and competitive. We are renovating a house built in the 70s and then decided to hire Webb's Electrical to install overhead lighting with ceiling fans in the 4 upstairs bedroom with new wall switches installed to operate both the fan and light separately. While they were on-site, he highly recommended that we replace all outlets due to the age of the house as many of them were very loose. I already knew this was a concern that I should address and decided to proceed with the project. They did a great job, were highly professional, courteous and efficient on both projects. I plan to hire John for a near-term upgrade from our old fuse box to breakers based upon these 2 service experiences. I prefer to work with small, well-established business owners such as Webb's Electrical where the owner is directly on-site and is hands-on doing the project. John, thank you and your colleague for a very positive experience.

I found Webb Electrical on Angie's List, called, they came, and they performed the work in the same day. I didn't have time to comparison shop for pricing (the last set of lights just went) so I can't really speak to cost but it was about what I expected and very quick and easy.

It went perfectly. The electrician showed up when promised and got the job done quickly.

One of the legs in the breaker box died on a Friday morning (burned out...flames). Another electrical\HVAC company said they could fix it but they came out later that day and gave me a BS story as to what needed to be done, which I was told they would have to sub-out...but only after we coordinate with Dominion Power to do a disconnection. DP came out and diagnosed the real issue...not what first company said. DP told me exactly what to tell a real electrician. I called John Webb, after a 5 minute conversation with John, he had the answer and gave me a great quote. He asked me to text him pictures so he could buy parts on the way over from his current client. He arrived on-time just after 5 pm ...Yes, on a FRIDAY, parts in-hand and went right to work. He had the power back on-line in under an hour. He then came back Monday morning to switch-out the entire box. John is awesome, nice crew, super professional and reasonable rate. Fantastic customer service!

They came as expected and did the work efficiently.

I asked to have 8 recessed lights installed, multiple receptacles moved and rerouted and various other electrical work. Mr. Webb presented options to what I thought I wanted and his suggestions were better than my initial plan. Instead of installing more fixtures (which I thought I wanted), Mr. Webb suggested fewer fixtures but smarter and better placing of the fixtures. The outcome is by far better than my original plan and the cost less than the original quote. Their quote was lower than two other contractors. They arrived on time - actually 5 minutes early. The work performed was outstanding. They spent considerable time cleaning as they worked and after the work was complete. They were also very pleasant to work with. Best prices, on time, great work, clean and polite. What else can you ask for?

We got 3 bids to do the job and Webb's was by far the least expensive. The owner, John was creative in his approach to our needs, one of which was to keep costs low. He called when he said he would, arrived when he said he would and was very good at explaining how he was going to install what we needed and how to operate our new technology. He and his employee personally did all the work and left the site very clean. Webb Electric will be my go to electrician going forward for both our church and my home.

The contractor was very responsive and came by within 90 minutes of calling for service. The installation was done in a timely and professional manner. John quoted a fair and reasonable price and also honored the Angies List coupon. I have used several other electrical contractors that were OK but not good enough to call back. I like the idea that this is a family owned business and that he is personally involved in providing service to his customers. I will definitely call him again in the future.

They arrived early and got right to work and they finished in about 90 minutes. We will definitely use again (since we have to hook back our kitchen island receptacle in a few weeks).

Excellent and prompt communication and responsiveness. We aligned schedules and John and his team were on time as expected (and even a bit early as a prior job was completed earlier than expected). The job was quickly assessed on site and a plan was made for running new wiring from the garage panel to the basement room. This required drilling through concrete panels and fishing wire. The cable runs were done with minimal drywall damage which was impressive and wiring was concealed well. Proactively, they ran a 2nd circuit to the same room just in case additional heavy AMP use equipment was added in the future. Very smart. The new LED recessed lights were added to the room which makes a huge difference as the existing ceiling fan light was very dim. They connected to the same switch as the fan light which gives us to the opportunity to turn both on with the same switch (with dimmer control) or turn the fan light off using the pull string on the fan itself. The fan blades are controlled separately. Fishing the line for the new can lights was done with no damage to the drywall. All in all, very professional and well executed. Will use again for other work and would recommend.
