Virginia Green

After getting some landscaping done, I contacted Virginia Green to get an estimate on a maintenance package. They were very responsive, gave me some good feedback and were not pushy in making the sale. I found the price to be fair and I've also seen their sign posted on some nice lawns in my neighborhood. I also really like the newsletter, as I have a black thumb and can use all the help I can get. Overall, it has been a positive experience and I look forward to working with them.

Overall its gone very well. VA Green has always been prompt for service and very quick to answer my calls and work me through my questions. I can't comment on the quality of these services fully yet because I have to wait for my lawn to come in the spring, but for now it looks like they've done a great job.

Virginia Green is now my lawn care company after receiving dismal results from Trugreen. In addition to using Virginia Greens Estate Lawn Service, they did a complete renovation of my front yard. This was due to an overwhelming Dallis and Bermuda grass infestation. Virginia Green completely killed out the entire area, I then removed all the dead grass, then they slit-seeded the area with their Virginia specific seed. I was left detailed instructions for ensuring my new yards success and their extremely knowledgeable staff answered any questions I had. When I had some concerns over the coverage and growth of the seeds (I think b/c of my irrigation system settings) Virginia Green came out and re-cast seeded my renovated area for free. Even though this was performed later in the reseeding season, the yard is already much better looking then ever before. I highly recommend them for all your lawn care needs. They are not the cheapest in town, but when it comes to lawn care as with most things, you get what you pay for and pricier companies perform much better no matter what companies like TruGreen tell you.

Fine. I still have weeds and bald spots in my lawn but understood from the beginning from Virginia Green that a beautiful lawn may take 1-2 years of treatment.

They do great work and leave comments on what we can do to improve our lawn.

I switched to this company this summer because the individual I used was retiring. They have applied 3 treatments so far as well as aerating and seeding. So far so good and the grass looks much, much better. Punctual and dependable

I called for an estimate, and I heard from back from someone quickly. While the estimate was not the least expensive, I went with this company because I had seen the lawn of a friend who used the company, and it was the thickest, greenest lawn I had ever seen. I have used the company for several years, and I have no complaints. A technician always calls me a day or so before a treatment is done. He is always able to answer my questions about pets and children walking on the grass after a treatment. I often have friends and relative exclaim how nice my lawn looks.

So far the results have been very good. They operate very professionally. We've been through a lot of services and I've been very pleased with them thus far. We do not have a contract, we can opt out at any time. They are a very fair company. They also use products that are Virginia specific - their products are based on our climate and our soil.

The team is very responsive and professional and they know their business. We have a large yard and they are very thorough and careful around the flowers and garden planters. We typically get an advance phone call letting us know when they will be coming so that they won't disturb the dogs. I have had questions for them regarding gardening recommendations in the past and they have been most helpful. They really take time to know their customers' yards - it's not a "one size fits all" approach. We will contiue to do business with Virginia Green.

So far, so good. They have been timely and responsive, adn the price seems reasonable. My lawn is still not looking great, but I understand that it will take some time. I like the fact that Virginia Green gives me an overall assessment of my lawn with directions on what I should do after each treatment. Also like the monthly newsletter - very informative.

Have had this company doing this work for two years and will continue with them. Lawn continues to look better all the time.

We have the Premium Lawn Care Program with Virginia Green which includes 7 applications a year. The is our second year with Virginia Green. We researched the services from Vriginia Green after having been with a nationwide lawn treatment company for 7 years. The customer service & results of their applications have been significantly better than our previous provider. Our lawn has never looked this good - we saw a noticeable difference in our yard within the first 6 months.

They do an outstanding job. They do what they promise. There is no appointment. They come when ever they are supposed to.

We have been using them for about 18 months. They aerated and seeded our yard. We are impressed with their professionalism and the job they do. Servicemen are knowledgeable and friendly. I recommend them to others.

My lawn is consistently the healthest and greenest grass in the neighborhood. During the dry summer months, I see other lawns brown or weed infested. Mine lawn is still healthy.

Very friendly guys. Polite, punctual, always call first ( as requested since we have dogs). We have only had 3 visits so far but our lawn looks better than it has in a very long time. Two visits were scheduled fertilizer/weed control, and the third was a lime treatment deemed necessary according to the soil samples they took (included in price). The cost of the lime treatment seemed a bit high (although we have a large yard) and the scheduled treatments (10 per year) seem a bit pricey ......but you get what you pay for I guess. So far we are very happy with the service and would recommend them to friends.Also, the company sends helpful lawn care updates by email. Love that.

They have turned my awful backyard into a sea of green. I have always had a great experience with them.
