Description of Work: They frequently use products that require a license to use. I cannot get the results that they get. They also continually remind customers what they should do, like grass height, removing leaves, watering, etc. They were great.

Description of Work: I hired them for Lawn treatment. The grass came out good and green but there were many bog brown patches that were not treated. They didnt pay attention to it until I called them with my observations. They said I need to move to a higher plan for them to treat it. |What I didnt like is that they were not proactive for let me know what was wrong.

[member name removed]- thanks for your comments about Virginia Green's Programs. You are correct, our Premium Program 7 application service does not include fungus control for the lawn. We offer this on our Estate Program- a comprehensive 10 application program. We notified all customers in May prior to disease development by mail, as well as an email blast every other week and leave behind information with each service. Since we only visit the lawn generally every six to eight weeks, we do not have the ability to monitor it weekly for fungus activity. This is why we choose to educate our customers to be aware of these conditions so we can work together if they develop. In all of our communication, we recommend raising the mower to the tallest setting, as well as watering early in the morning. This will generally prevent disease in a fescue lawn or minimize the damage. If we can help you again in the future, please do not hesitate to contact us. Mr. [member name removed]- thanks for your review of Virginia Green. Pricing is based upon square footage of the lawn, so you have 10,485 square feet or a quarter of an acre of turf. This is certainly a nice sized lawn, our average is much less. We do offer a pre-payment discount at the beginning of the year which is an additional 7% off by paying in January. Description of Work: My husband and I are very pleased with the ongoing care Virginia Green is providing for our lawn. When my husband "threw in the towel" and called them in to battle the horrific infestation of crabgrass and other insidious weeds, we began to see improvement right away! Our lawn's health is nearly restored; each month is better than the last and we are beginning to get compliments from the neighbors!
