Description of Work: The company painted our windows, trim, doors, deck, railings, etc. They also made repairs to some rotted wood portions of our trim. Their estimate was professional and detailed, prices were very competitive, and the work was completed in a timely manner, with good communication throughout the several days of the job. There were several "surprises" encountered over the course of the job, so we had to make some adjustments to the initial estimate, but these items were unforeseen, and the increases in cost were reasonable and necessary. I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: They fixed my porch very quickly outside of the stairs. Due to needing a custom peice, the stairs took longer. I would have loved to know up front how long it was going to take.

Description of Work: Various carpentry jobs from replacing siding, putting in window sills and trim, replacing porch supports and painting.

Description of Work: I asked for an estimate to have some work done. They made an appointment, called to remind me and not only left the estimate, but also mailed a copy to us. We haven't decided to have the work done (we are selling our house) but will definitely use them if we do decide to have work done. Very professional.

Description of Work: Asked for quotes for two tasks - replace rotting post on front porch and replace broken window. Quotes were reasonable for the work requested. First problem was that carpenter arrived at my home to replace post on front porch without giving me sufficient advance notice as requested. When I pulled in my driveway they had removed gutters and downspouts in order to replace the wrong post! I showed them the photograph/quote that clearly showed which post to replace; the carpenter said he had never seen that picture before. Second problem -Estimator had failed to measure the window at time of estimate and it took 3 weeks (after porch post replacement when someone remembered to measure the window!) for window to come in. No bothered to explain any of this to us until we called and asked why the work wasn't completed. Third problem - we had the window replaced because the wooden frame around it had broken and part of the lock was missing. When they finally came to install the window, they did not bring lock hardware, and the fellow "forgot" to bring tools to clean factory labeling and markings from the window! Fourth problem - the fellow who came to install the lock hardware got lost and was an hour late, eventhough I called the company to see where he was when he was only 6 minutes late. Every communication with this company was mishandled from their end. They did not arrive one single time when they said they would, and it appeared that no one within the company talks to anyone else within the company. |To be fair, each individual that I talked to was polite and apologetic for the issues, but seemingly completely incapable of getting the tasks done in a timely and professional manner. The lady in the office who takes care of billing and scheduling for them seemed to be the only one who knew how to get anything done!

Description of Work: They were responsive by telephone and email but there were some miscues that I had to fix. People in office were either very helpful or not depending on who you spoke with. The biggest problem was the replacement screen door was warped but they installed it any way. I was told it would eventually conform to the door opening but it did not. They sent a carpenter out twice to rectify. First guy sanded and trimmed which made it better but took so much off the bottom of the door I had to go out and buy a sweep and install it. Second guys that came out replaced door with a Vinyl door which was also warped. I told them to put the first door back and that is how we left it. What they should have done is taken the first warped door back and put in a door that was not warped. But they didn't. The carpenters were all very nice and the other parts of the job (replacing rotted and damaged trim) were done satisfactorily.

Description of Work: They replaced rotten window sills and painted the new ones. Work was done in one day. They fit me into their schedule without a problem. Very professional from beginning to end.

Description of Work: The first job was painting our kitchen cabinets. The second job was sealing our new front and back decks. We are very satisfied with both jobs and will use them again.

Description of Work: Replaced rotten trim around house. Replaced front frame trim. Replaced front and back door sweepers. Replaced inside window ceil. And painted what was replaced.

Description of Work: They repaired areas on house that had rotting problems before painting the house. Had disagreements from the get go with company. Was not aware of box on contract. They had all the paint mixed before we got to put in our request (because box had a check in it on the contract) Watch out for that! We needed them to do a second coat over the completed house as it looked spotty (and it was white on white!) Michael, supervisor of the work was quite responsive to our needs at first and did bend over backwards to make things right. However, getting them to come back to complete problems has been a horrible experience. They did return to look at the problems we still had, but have ignored our phone calls and emails to come back to fix. We feel that our ratings for their responsiveness and professionalism should be lower since they have chosen to ignore their responsibilities.

Description of Work: I had a bunch of carpentry and outdoor painting projects, here and there. Replacing some boards on my deck and painting that and house trim. They sent separate people to do the different type of work, rather than one jack-of-all-trades, which I did like, everyone was prompt and courteous, and cleaned up thoroughly as is they were never there. I would definitely call them again.
