I highly recommend this company for any painting needs. They got back to me super fast when I enquired about the project and came out the next day for the estimate. Everyone we came in contact with throughout the process was very polite and processional. They did an awesome job painting our living room, downstairs hallway, upstairs hallway, and all the trim. I am really impressed and happy how everything turned out and will definitely be using them again.

Let's start from the beginning. First, I requested an estimate late on a Friday evening. They were quick to accommodate me and met me first thing the next morning. The owner of the company was super professional, took time to explain every aspect of the service. He had a video, which at first I was eager to skip over, but, after watching it, I have to admit it really gave way more insight into the whole process and answered questions I wasn't even aware I had. He pointed out several things specific to my type of cabinetry and showed me pics of his previous jobs that were similar so that I had clear expectations. I was on a tight timeline, he was already very booked, however found the time to get the work done when I needed it. Thaigo worked with me on choosing the paint color and sheen and even bought a sample of the paint I chose to bring it over and make sure I liked it before they did the first coats. The prep work they did was unbelievable, it must've taken 8 hours with two guys, when they were done, everything was covered, when we saw what went into the prep we realized we'd never be able to do that level of work on our own. I think it was 6-7 coats that went on by the finish. Through the entire process the owner was always immediately available for communication and really put my mind at ease. In the end, the cabinets turned out beautifully, the finish made the cabinets look brand new. Their professionalism was very impressive, their proof of insurance is sent to you along with their proposal. The contract was crazy detailed and along with the above-and-beyond customer service persuaded me to choose this company. I felt we were working with true professionals dedicated to doing a stand up job. I would recommend this company and look forward to working with them in the future.

Those who I spoke with on the phone and the owner when he came to do an estimate were incredibly nice and easy to work with. They were timely and professional as well. The work that was done was excellent - we feel like we live in a brand new house and went from being an eyesore to being the prettiest house on the street. The work was also done quickly. In addition, I came home early from work one day and interacted with some of the painters, who were exceptionally polite and working hard to do a great job. I recommend 100% and thank Short Pump Painters for transforming our home.

From the initial estimate to the finished product they were professional and on point. I was impressed with how careful they were in protecting the areas of my home that were worked in. We just moved in to a new home and I needed to make some of the interior colors more fitting to my taste. I called Thiago for a quote. I had obtained a quote from him to get our prior residence market ready but gave the job to a solo guy who was just a bit cheaper (like maybe $400). The guy did a crap job and I would have much rather paid Short Pump a few hundred more for quality work. So, when we bought the new house I called Thiago and he gave me a good enough rate that I did not feel the need to shop it. Thiago and every single one of his team were very professional, conscientious of their work, and friendly. They took great care to protect my furnishings, floors, counters, etc. We had hit closing delays and Thiago rearranged his entire schedule to accommodate me. That meant the world because closing delays are stressful enough already. When Thiago came in I could not believe how he remembered every detail I had given him a month earlier. And he somehow knew his way around the house while I was still getting lost. Brenda was with him and he delegated a lot of responsibility to her which she handled wonderfully. Numerous times, I saw her checking behind others to be sure they were doing a good job. She communicated to me every day what the plan was. Jhiovanne was in charge of our cabinets. I could tell he took great pride in the job and he had such a sweet disposition. Brenda and Jhiovanne were at my house just about every day and even worked over the weekend to get us back on to our original timeline for completion. The end result was absolutely amazing. My kitchen is completely transformed and it looks exactly like what I had pictured in my mind. The consultant, Kari, that Thiago sent from Sherwin Williams was able to help me pick just the right colors to make my vision reality. All I can say is that it was worth every penny and I’m impressed beyond words with every single facet of this transaction. We had accent walls in the master bedroom, master bath, accent walls in the great room, powder room, kitchen, morning room, and cabinets all painted. We also did two toned railings on stairwells and balcony to match kitchen cabinets and island. If you need a painter and you want good service, quality execution of the job, and a fair price.....go with Short Pump Painters or you are taking your chances.

From start to finish working with Short Pump Painters was a dream. The customer service was amazing, and it felt like they really valued their customers. Better yet, their work is amazing ! We had some pretty major and unsightly wall damage where the previous owner of our home moved a pool table out, and they made the walls look like new! We will be going back to them for our upcoming exterior projects this spring.

Thiago was amazing! When he came to look at what I needed painted, he was very patient and took time to listen to what I wanted. Then, he took time to explain to me what they do and confirm that they would do what I'd asked. The crew arrived on the designated date on time and immediately placed dropcloths (CLOTH dropcloths, not plastic) from the front door all the way to the secondary bedroom at the other end of the house upstairs where the work was to be done, including covering the stairs! I insisted that it wasn't necessary, but they wouldn't hear of it. Originally, the job was scheduled for 2 days, but they finished in 8 hours on the same day. The rooms looked great when they finished! There were a few VERY small imperfections that didn't get spackled the first time, but when I pointed it out, they fixed them right away. When it comes time for another paint job, we will be calling on Thiago again!

Firstly, let me say that Short Pump Painters are an absolute godsend for any homeowner! Thiago and his team are a dream to work with. I was looking for a qualified contractor to power wash, seal, and paint the exterior of my home, which was a mix of aluminum siding and also concrete foundation and staircases. I found SPP through a review website originally, but I recognized some of their work from interior designers’ spaces around Richmond (and sought out additional referrals, which were all glowing!) Thiago was extremely patient with my copious questions and color concerns, and in the end I worked with his designer Keri to choose a perfect color scheme for the outside of my home. He worked tirelessly to make sure that everything was perfect as the work was being performed, checking in daily, and his whole crew were clean, courteous, punctual, friendly, and extremely efficient (they finished the project in exactly the time estimated as well). In the end, I could not be happier with how the final product came out! As some others have mentioned, when you ask for a quote or proposal, keep an open mind, because you are paying for absolute quality (and they are worth every penny)! They’ll be my go-to for any paint needs I have in the future!

it was super quick getting a quote and scheduling was just as fast. Their crew was very friendly and courteous. They were careful not to be disruptive or make a mess and lied drop cloths everywhere. The quality of the work was great and they were super fast. I was worried as we went from a bright purple to a very light grey. There were also quite a few bad spots on the ceiling. Everything turned out great and my daughter is very happy with her new room.

Short Pump painters did a wonderful job painting a room at an art gallery for me last week. It was a pleasure to work with Thiago and his team. I had a super last-minute job that Thiago very generously and promptly fit into his busy schedule at very short notice. Leading up to the paint job, Thiago was very responsive, kindly advising me through multiple prompt emails (on a Sunday!) about which kind of paint to buy and where to buy it from for the best deal. On the day of the painting job, Thiago and his team were absolutely fantastic. They arrived precisely on time, with all the materials necessary. When they arrived, we found that the walls were in much worse shape than anticipated. I was on a very tight schedule, so Thiago had his team fix the walls quickly and economically, heat warming the material to make it dry faster. We also realized that one additional wall needed to be painted to make the room more cohesive. Short Pump Painters did all of these extra things at no additional cost, which made a huge difference for me as I was on a tight artist/adjunct budget. The room looks beautiful, and it was a pleasure to work with Short Pump Painters. Thank you so much for all of your excellent work, and for helping me out so last minute!
