Seal Man

Someone came out from the company to give an estimate and I agreed on the price, which I thought was a fair price. Then, no one ever showed up to do the work and no one ever responded to my repeated phone calls.

The job turned out very well. I needed to delay the job and Sean was more than happy to accommodate my schedule. The work looks great, and I'm confident it'll stand up to the elements. I'd happily recommend them, and when I need to have the driveway sealed again I'll definitely call Seal Man.

Seal man Sean and Brett are very professional and have great customer service skills and very courteous. They gave a good estimate and explained the work scope. They were very punctual and waited correctly before any work was done to ensure the rainy days elapsed before patching the driveway, Initially the driveway showed marks of the brushing which did not look great, but they came back and coated it after several days to ensure the job was done correctly. The driveway looks wonderful and a job well done! I have no hesitation in recommending Seal Man to others as you can ensure that you will get your driveway done perfectly and to full satisfaction. Moreover, both Sean and Brett are very good listeners and take pride in what they do. They are a great team and I have them on my list to seal in the future.

Seal Man did a great job. They cleaned the surface spotless prior to applying the sealant and blocked off the driveway to aid with proper setup. They also returned the next morning to examine the results. I would highly recommend them. Great job guys!

Did a great job on an old driveway, this will give us a few more years before we have to consider replacement.

I had used Seal Man at our home a few years ago and liked their work. Called again to have the driveway sealed and they immediately got back to me, set up a time and kept their price competitive. They showed up exactly when planned, took time to clear/clean the driveway and the end result looks great. Will continue to use them in the future.

Initial phone call I indicated i wanted driveway cracks filled in and driveway resealed. Sent pictures of driveway. This conversation was with Seal Man. I was told someone would call day before scheduled visit to give me an estimated time they would arrive. No call. A truck showed up on the scheduled day from Advantage Pavement Maintenance. I questioned workers and they said they were from Seal Man Paving. They were here less than 30 mins. Only resealed driveway I called Seal Man twice using the number I originally called leaving detailed messages about my concerns - no cracks filled. And did not receive a Call back. When I received a bill for $200 from Advantage I called with a detail complaint. Someone did finally return my call and we set up a time for him to come by and discuss the problem on Thursday. Brendan called and left a message on appointment day that he would be here in 25 minutes. This was at 12:25. I waited until 4. No one came by. He called on Saturday and said someone came by on Thursday but I was here with my front door open waiting and no one came by. Said it would cost too much to repair driveway. How could he know if he didn't look at driveway. No way to do business

Horrible customer service. If you say you are going to do something, you need to do it or at least have the common courtesy to contact the customer and let them know you are not coming. I waited all afternoon for Katie to show up and she didn't even bother to give me the courtesy of a phone call!! Who in their right mind would hire a contractor who can't even coordinate or communicate with the customer for an estimate?

Details below. Bottom line: 1) no coordination between owner/agent and actual workers, who are fast, sloppy and not interested in detail. 2) Unless you have a simple re-coating--NO cracks--don't waste your money. Get professionals. Details: You will deal with three entities here, with the biggest gap between the owner and his agent and the people who actually do the work. Kate will take your calls and do most of the coordinating; you will find her usually quite nice, and always reassuring. Then there is Sean, who actually (I guess) is the owner, also very reassuring. Kate comes out and does the estimate. She then shows pictures to Sean, who never actually saw our driveway (Yes, I actually fell for this.) Both of them were always very reassuring that the cracks (many) in our driveway could be patched up well enough for our needs: Workers would first fill the cracks, then coat the driveway. Both reassured me multiple times they would tell the workers what needed to be done and that the workers would tell me when they were coming so I could be there. The workers flew through, never calling or telling me they were there. The driveway remained a mess. Sean still very reassuring that a second coat would help.On the basis of other great experiences with Angie's List companies and positive Seal Man reviews,I paid for the first coat and scheduled a second. This time the workers came four hours early; fortunately, I was able to catch them before they started. The admitted they had also done the first coat. On questioning, they said "We never fill cracks unless they are at least a half inch wide." When i asked them why they hadn't filled the cracks that were larger than a half inch, they said, "No one told us to" -- and they meant both times, the first time and the second. No, I didn't fall for it the second time, and recommend you don't fall for it the first time if you have any needs at all beyond a simple, fast surface coat.

He did well. They made it out within a week. They did a good job. They were neat and professional. They did the job through the darkness of the night and finished the job as they said they would.

Team came and blew leaves off driveway and applied sealer. Quick and professional. Best sealer I have seen used!

I like this tar coal product better than the oil sealers, the tar is thicker. They did a great job on the application. It dried fast, about 1 day. The smell lingered for about a week, I guess that means it's good stuff! The cost was more than I was thinking but only because my driveway was bigger than I estimated. Sealman did a good job.
