Mike was great and very professional every step of the way. The finished product looks fantastic and a much improved than before. They increased the value of my home with quality work and a quality product. Mike did a great job of estimating, calculating, and producing a quote without high pressure and left me with a good feeling that I had gotten a good deal. Last year I had Mike Gunderson group, Professional Home Services, install vinyl window in my house. I was so pleased with their price, professionalism and personal service I decide to have them finish the house by installing vinyl siding. Just like the first job they did a great job, showing up on time and finishing early. They were very flexible and did some extra things not included in the original contract without nit picking me on the price.

Dont waste you time. This company was not responsive and never sent me a quote as promised. They will waste your time.

Initially very responsive; however, it took a few weeks to actually get on the schedule and have the job completed. Once completed, I was satisified.

He was really good and excellent. I guess it was expensive. They did everything right and it was perfect.

They did a great job of making our house look great. The installers took those extra small steps to make sure that the job turned out exactly as we hoped.

We shopped around decided to go with Professional Home Services. Mike is reliable, great communicator and trustworthy professional. The price and the service were great. I would hire him again.

The result is exceptional. You can tell that Mike Gunderson sincerely cares about the happiness of the customer. He has a good eye for what will work, because I really did not have a good idea of what I wanted to begin with in terms of letting more light into a kitchen area that seemed a bit closed in. The work began in the morning and since I was home I could see the two man crew working and they were meticulous without being slow - as if they knew what they were doing - imagine that! I can because I had one contractor a few years ago do work in a bathroom only to reinstall the window sill on a slant - that was not acceptable and I did not hire him again. I would hire Mike Gunderson again, and highly recommend him. I think that his prices are reasonable and the work product is excellent, and I appreciate that he cares about the customer being happy with the work.

It was time to replace all of our exterior doors (a front door and two doors on our lower level) and we contacted three providers - all highly rated on Angie's List. One provider came and said I didn't know much about doors and to call them after I got other bids and they'd tell me whether they were good ones or not. And their casually tossed out number which they wouldn't put in writing was WAY more than the bid by Professional Home Services. The second provider was contacted three times and never called me back. And although I did have to call twice, once I heard back from Mike, I could not have been more pleased with the process. He spent a good deal of time with us as we tried to figure out what we would do. (we originally were planning to only replace two doors) and never pressured us about the decisions we were trying to make. He sent us pictures of doors that his distributor didn't have in stock but that he could get in time to do the job by the time we wanted it done.. The job was accomplished over an afternoon one day and morning the next. The crew that did the work was outstanding and worked like trojans. The work quality was outstanding and we were thrilled with the final results. We had provided all the door hardware and one of the deadbolt locks that we had purchased had some problems. But until we determined the problem was with the lock, Mike came back out three times to try and fix the lock.. (Eventually, he replaced it with a new one we bought and it is fine.) He always gave us the impression that anything we wanted him to look at, he was happy to do it. We have had a lot of work done on our house in the last five years and I'm somewhat jaded about working with contractors.. his was one of the best experiences we'd ever had and we intend to have Professional Home Services help us replace a roof on an outbuilding on our property. I highly recommend this company for their fair pricing, the professionalism and interest they show in your project, and the follow up they provide.

After multiple estimates, we decided to select Professional Home Services for our siding project. Leading up to our decision, we had no less than 8 contractors come out to estimate our siding project. I really enjoyed Professional Home Services? unscripted, honest, straightforward approach to the estimation process. We had a long list of questions that were all answered without a single ?we?ll check on that? or ?we?ll get back to you on that? statement. Our house was measured, calculations were made, and our quotation was handed to us in writing and signed within the hour. After I received the quotation I spent another 45 minutes with Rae going over details and specifying desired materials and techniques. A number of the a la carte line items on other quotes such as removal of exterior crown molding and installation of flat fascia boards, and Invisivent soffit were included in their initial quotation. Appealing to all, the price was among the best of the group. After signing our contract we were pleased to find that Professional Home Services (PHS) was able to work with our condensed timeline and begin the process within two weeks. During that time Mike Gunderson was in contact with us on a regular basis giving us updates on the ordering process and the delivery schedule. Work began on the date agreed upon, in fact Mike was here the day before reviewing the property and planning the delivery. The siding installation was as smooth as could one could wish. The contractors were courteous, prompt, and extremely attentive. Throughout the process I had many questions that were answered to my satisfaction. Any questions or that I had or changes that I requested were addressed immediately. At no time was I told that what I wanted would cost more or that what I wanted was not possible. The jobsite was always kept clean and organized. At regular intervals the site was scanned for nails and metal shards. We could not be happier with the finished product. The house looks amazing. After completion Mike came by no less than three times to walk the property and review the work. Caulk was touched up where needed and any little nits were corrected or fixed. During the entire process Mike was accessible by phone or email. If I had any questions or comments, I could email or call Mike and I was always able to reach him easily. The attention to detail and customers that PHS provides is second to none. I would not hesitate to recommend PHS to my neighbor, friend or family member. Thank you PHS team. Jon Hartley

The representative who came to evaluate the project was professional and seemed quite capable. The morning of the appt. no one showed- I called to confirm & was advised the booking never made it onto their calendar. They found an employee nearby & sent him over- he was a nice young man who had no idea what he needed to do. By time he arrived I had to leave. I allowed the job to proceed in my absence & communication was abysmal. I ended up hiring someone else a month later to finish the job. I think it would have worked out better if we had rescheduled.

We were selling the home and needed this work done immediately in order to close the deal. I was out of town and called Mike who went above and beyond in order to get the work completed on my short timeline. Great job and good pricing! Mike and his crew had previously done work on my house including vinyl siding and external trim wrapping and I was very pleased with the work that they performed. Quality job and excellent customer service.

The work was done by an employee of the business - not by the owner - which is not a problem. The problem we had was the gentleman doing the work tried to get us to pay him to replace flashing on all the other vents on our roof - and to pay him directly without the employer knowing about it. We contacted the owner and informed him of this. The work that was done was excellent.

Excellent workers. Explained in depth what they were going to do and what materials were going to be used. Very good workers and timely work.

The contractor was fabulous about arriving on time. Offered a great deal of advice and insight, and was willing to work several quotes based on our objectives. He assisted in providing a prioritization of the work that we ideally would like to have completed - allowing us to match our budget with our repair needs.

I used the Angie's List Big Deal to have two small windows replaced -- $250 for $550 value. The provider came out and looked at the work needed and discussed my options. We agreed on a plan and a date to have the work done. On the date of service, he did get held up at another job way across town for some time. He did call to update me a few times, but it was lengthy. The work was done and it looks great. I like the new windows better than the old ones I had -- more safety features, easier to clean and the slats are now in between the panes of glass instead of on the outside like my other windows. I was asked to review the work before they left and was given a demonstration on how they worked. I would use them again.

This process was very smooth. When I initially called Mike for the appraisal I thought that I may need a new roof. He was very honest with me and immediately told me that I did not in fact need a new roof but he could fix the small area that had the problem! We went over the exterior of the house and and Mike explained exactly what the process would be to do the rest of the siding work. He wrote the appraisal on the spot. When I called him back to hire him for the work he was very flexible about the times he could meet to sign the contract. While writing the contract I asked him about replacing the front door and again he quickly was able to give me a price and include it in the contract that day. The work started a week later and Mike was in constant contact with me about how it was progressing. He was able to have the job completed in 3 days despite the rain and everything looked great. Mike then cam over and we walked around and inspected everything to make sure that it was complete to both of our liking (and I must say he was quite adamant about it being perfect!). The house looks great and I would hire him again in a minute!

All facets of work were good except one. Owner very hands on and involved with workers. Worked with me on the pricing since I was having two large jobs done. Came as promised and cleaned up with care. Owner checked in on workers and came himself multiple times Kept in touch by phone about even slight adjustments in appointment times One wish: I wish I'd asked more questions about the ridge vent. I'm experiencing a fair amount of tiny particles of debris getting in the attic. Not sure if this is normal. Like the greater ventilation it provides however. The one negative which I considered minor but someone else may have been very concerned about: one window arrived broken. Reordered and arrived timely but was not installed until 6 months later. Stayed in touch with me periodically -- I was ok with waiting until he was in the area again. But 6 months was a long time.

Professional Home Services had a lower price than 2 other companies and the workers were punctual. Overall the work was good with the exception of overlooking a major detail. They installed replacement windows and a new door, but unfortunately left a gap in the weatherproofing. Due to this error, I experienced 3 months of high electricity bills in the winter. When I did finally call them back out, it was promptly fixed and they partially refunded money for one of my bills and even fixed a problem I had with my gate. I definitely appreciated the customer service provided. Looking at older reviews, however, it appears that situation also occurred with another customer. They were very professional and lived up to their guarantee to stand by their work, but I am concerned there were too many issues the first time around.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service. They came out shortly after I purchased the deal. They were punctual, professional and went out of their way to make the repairs. They did not charge me any extra for the repairs and I had no problem at all with them.

Mike came out on time and provided a quote. I agreed on price and date. Mike's team came and successfully completed the door replacement. I paid Mike the agreed upon price. It was a straight forward transaction and I can give my recommendation to PHS.

Mike & his team were awesome. We have needed replacement windows for a couple of years, but I kept putting it off, not just because of the cost, but the buying process compared to getting a root canal. Mike made the process painless; he did the presentation quickly and submits a very competitive proposal, there was no pressure to close the deal or special discounts if ?I sign today?. His first price was his best price. Professional Homes Services not only came in with the most competitive price, but showed up on time, did the work quickly, fulfilling all promises made in the contract. I am planning to get Mike back to do other work.

Initially, following contact, there was a lag in time for someone to go out and scope the job. Once the go ahead was given the work was done in a timely manner. Follow up found that one deck rail was loose. Professional replaced the anchor screw and stabalized the support. They used paint chips to replace the paint, and it looks good. The paint can was left for any additional touch ups. Unfortunately the can was left outside on the deck rail. No one alerted the renter nor the landlord that the can was there.
