Pedro's Landscaping

I woke up to see someone climbing the neighbor's fence into our yard to blow leaves under the truck in the driveway. Aside from being incredibly rude, this is a fire hazard. The lawn care guy then left his leaf blower on, walking up the road and blew leaves from the road into our yard. There was no answer at the phone number listed on the truck that I took a photo of, and based on other reviews, I sincerely doubt I'll get any kind of call back. Incredibly unprofessional, I wouldn't hire them, and do not appreciate their "contributions" to our lawn

Sometimes scheduling is a bit challenging but the work and professionalism is worth the wait.

Meet with Pedro on a Thursday. Was very nice and said he could come by the next week to perform the work. Said it would not be Monday or Tuesday but he would call or text to let me know when he would be able to come. Thursday comes and had not heard from him so sent a text and left a message that day. No response until Friday morning when he leaves message saying he would be by to perform the work that day. Doesn't bother to show up. Terrible customer service. Will never call again.

Pedro was outstanding, as were the rest of his crew. They did wonderful work. They were professional and hard working. They cleaned up their work areas. Our yard looks terrific, and it is a huge yard with a lot of bushes.

I scheduled an appointment with Pedro Rodriguez of Pedro?s Landscaping for an estimate (late March). Before we met, he explained that it would be about a week and a half at the earliest before he could do the work; he was already busy and behind schedule due to weather setbacks. No problem ? I was not in any particular rush. I was interested in a general spring cleanup and sprucing up of my front and back yard (weeding, re-edging beds, trimming shrubs, applying mulch, edging walkway and general cleanup). Pedro arrived to survey the property as promised, was pleasant and seemed knowledgeable about his work. We toured my yard and he made some helpful suggestions that I hadn?t considered ? in general, he was very professional. Pedro gave me his estimate and I asked him to ?pencil? me into his schedule (I had another couple of landscapers lined up for estimates). Two days later, I contacted Pedro to confirm that I wanted him to do the job and we were set, however this is where the professionalism ended. The day my yard was scheduled for the work, it rained. I figured Pedro would not show up, which he didn?t, but neither did he contact me to reschedule. After not hearing anything for a few days, I called him. He rescheduled my job. That new date came and went and Pedro did not call or show up. I contacted him a third time -- he was apologetic and again rescheduled me, this time for the end of the week (Saturday). Again, Pedro did not show up to do the work, nor did he call. I finally gave up. I selected this company based on favorable reviews, however my experience with Pedro?s Landscaping was anything but favorable.

I highly recommend Pedro's Landscape. He is dependable and monitors his crew's work on a regular basis. He is more than willing to address any and all issues that might arise. Although we recently purchased a second home in another state we still use his services in Richmond, knowing maintenance of our property continues in a dependable manner.

Pedro came out and walked the property with me listening carefully to my vision of how I wanted the yard to look. He made some wonderful suggestions that showed me he knew his business.

Pedro arrived early to look at a tree we wanted to move if we could (without killing it). Unfortunately the tree was too big and already starting to die so he had to cut it down. Pedro is very professional, knowledgeable and extremely reasonable. He looked at other areas in the yard that I wanted to do something with and had great suggestions! He never tried to sell me anything or suggest that anything in our yard needed treatment. I have used many "landscaping" companies over the years and he is by far the best I've used. Anyone using any other landscaping company needs to switch now! He will be our landscaper until we leave the Richmond area.

Pedro is a very polite man with an easy manner. He and his team come and quickly get to work, clean up. They are quick and efficient.
