They guys who did the install were very professional and punctual. We had some rain delay so it ended up being spread out over 3 days. But each day the head guy would talk with us and explain what had been done and when and what was expected for their return. They did a fantastic job and our house looks like it got a much needed facelift.

The work and the workers were great. The price was way too expensive. The sales pitch was too long. The salesman was determined. Would not take no for an answer. Would not leave until he had a sale. My advise: DO NOT LET THEM IN YOUR HOUSE!! The offer you an overall price. Then a price if you sign a contract today only. Lots of pressure. Would never do business with them again. I cancelled the contract. They came by the same evening and offered a "better deal". NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE.

I am satisfied with the work performed. All of the crews were professional. On time and answered any questions that I asked them. The quality of the work performed was good. My main problem with Paramount Builders is that once they get in your home for an estimate, they don't want to leave until they have a contract with you. If you cancel, as I did, they respond by coming back to "give you a better deal". My advise would be. "Don't let them in your house". They have no plan for you to get other estimates, compare prices or anything else. I would never do business with Paramount Builders again. They push this "warranty" and justify there outrageous prices with their warranty. My ratings are based on my dealings with Paramount Builders and their reps. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

The sales rep that came out were very informative. They got here right on time, got the work done well with high quality I was told that they would be done by a certain time and they were. Everything looks and works great!

The whole process was amazing! The windows have a lifetime warranty and are the best windows on the market. The sales representative who came to the house, Floyd, was amazing. Never once did i feel pressured to buy anything and he even played with my son while he was here. He went over all the information he could to try and give us the most information and answered all of my questions. He called his boss to work out payment arrangements as we are a very young and growing family. The company itself was great, they were concerned it was going to rain so they rescheduled so no water would get in my house just in case. I felt very valued and appreciated. The install team couldn't have been better. The crew I got was ART and they were amazing!!! They answered all of my questions as i had them. walked me threw the whole process and gave me a tutorial of how to work everything when they were done. I was concerned about the clean up aspect as most contractors don't exactly do the best job when it comes to that, but with these guys i had no issue what so ever. You couldn't even tell they were here, well besides the amazing windows that were here when they were done. Would love to have this crew come back and do all of my jobs! for them to replace 22 windows it only took them 4 hours! I was flabbergasted! I can't thank them enough for the great job they did!

This was our first major construction project on our home so we did a lot of research before calling this company, which seemed to stand out from the pack in our region. The salesman was extremely easy to work with and didn't leave us with any questions. The timeline for the project ended up taking longer than we initially thought because it was around the holidays but it was the supplier's fault, not the builder, and everything we needed had to be custom because of weird old house sizes. They did a great job, showed up on time, and cleaned up after. So happy with our new entryway!

Went well. Will even caulked a team that was causing me concern. They went the extra mile to analyses the long team isn't disable from the street.

The whole story is long, so I will endeavor to be concise in hopes that everyone will read it entirely and be saved a lot of time, money, and frustration. I invited the lead manager of Paramount Builders in Fredericksburg, VA, one Mr. Josh Zabec, into my own on 18 January 2017. His sales pitch began at 530 PM, and ended around 815PM. During the sales pitch, after a little measuring, Josh said that the price would be around $35,000--my roof is 1600 sq. ft., by the way--which he admitted was costly, and, for a limited time, he could do it for less. After some negotiation, and a "call to his boss to confirm", Josh informed me that he could do the job for the very reasonable, "national average" of $19,800--that is approx. $12.40 per sq. ft. or $123.75 per square, if you prefer. The culmination of three hours of back-and-forth with this guy, desiring to get my two-year-daughter into bed, and the assumption that I was getting a fair deal led me to signing a contract. I did some research the next day, feeling very tentative about my previous decision. Here is what I discovered: 1) the national average for replacing a roof varies depending on numerous details-obviously-but isn't even remotely close to $19,800 (more like half of that). 2) Besides what they claim, Paramount does not offer materials or services above that of most contractors in the Fredericksburg area. For example, Lowes offers the same materials from the same manufacturer with the same exact warranty for, in my experience, less than half the cost ($8,900). -They even included replacing my gutters. So, this is what I hope you take away: first and foremost, the top guy (so the problem is endemic) at the Fredericksburg location of Paramount Builders uses deceitful, misleading, and high-pressure sales practices to get you to sign a contract; secondly, do your research vice trusting seemingly reputable companies (I found paying anything above $7.5 per sq. ft. for an asphalt shingle roof is ridiculous); third, if you forego everything I have said up to this point and do talk to a rep from Paramount Builders, keep a bookmark of the Federal Trade Commission’s itemized list of unlawful sales practices handy, as you may require it presently. Finally, to add insult to injury, when I went into the office to cancel the contract, the sales associate present decided that was the proper time to imply I was either and idiot, liar, or had a very small house because I told him that my roof was 1600 sq. ft.--his clarifying statement was that that was probably inaccurate and he was "only trying to help me out".

Awful. They should go out of business. The world would do great without companies like these.

The salesmen were courteous and timely. They answered all questions thoroughly. They didn't leave me with any questions. The install team was courteous and timely. The work was done very well.

Builders were on time. The lined began install and let us know each step. They were courteous and we loved the final product.

They tried to strong arm us into replacing half the house. Heavy duty pressure, badmouthed other suppliers, intimidation

Exceedingly long sales pitch --4 hours!!!! Strong armed us into signing a deal that night for a significant discount for putting their STUPID sign in our yard (BS) He Bad mouthed other roofers and claimed that Paramount was the only master elite GAF INSTALLER around. We were foolish to sign without shopping it-- the salesman said that we could cancel within 3 days but he really hoped we would not because it might trigger an investigation by the state ( total BS he was trying to scare us with). We cancelled anyway and got a quote from another GAF MASTER ELITE installer with a lifetime warranty and saved over ten grand. These guys are really overpriced and very pushy. Do not sign with paramount -- or anyone else without price shopping.

They arrived on time, were respectful and answered all of our questions about the product.

The salesman was obnoxious and condescending asking many personal questions totally unconnected to the requested quote. I was given a rather high, but acceptable price and was told I had to accept the quote on the spot or I would get another 30% higher starting the next day. He admitted that the higher quote as bogusly high. Initially, he said that they didn't perform the requested work since it was not big enough. They had a minimum. I said ok, forget it. He must have changed his mind and asked to come in. I got a call the next day from the home office, the corporate president, think, who seemed totally disinterested and hung up. I would never do business with such people and it is my opinion that this company should be avoided at all costs.

Be prepared for the HARD sell. The salesmen were rude and condescending -- to us, the homeowners, in our own home. The pricing provided was only good if we committed to project on the spot. It MAY be a good product and their workmanship MAY be quality but we will NEVER do business with a company that chooses to conduct themselves in this manner. If this is how the "big companies" operate then we will continue to support the small guys that value building customer relationships along side quality work.

The sale started with door to door salesman, to in home estimate, to finance off icons, to working. All work professional and courteous. Happy with outcome of work and pricing was compensation to other estimates.
