After signing up for a giveaway gift at the state fair we received a call on a Saturday morning from a representative of Paramount Builders, Inc. stating there was a person in our neighborhood and they would like to talk with us about our roof. The salesman was here within a half an hour about 10:00 AM and did not leave until 4:30 PM The estimate started at $49,000 from someone who never bothered to go on the roof but estimated 46 squares would be needed. I said not just no, but leave my home no !! The salesman was not deterred as he began producing discounts because we live on a cul-de-sac, we allowed signs to be posted, we were seniors and other month-end and year-end meaningless promotions they had going on. The estimate was reduced to $36,000 and after personally talking with his boss the estimate was again reduced to $30,000 but we were required to provide our social security numbers and a credit check was done. The prices were only good for the time the salesman was there on site. We were required to agree to the price right then. With the starting sales price at over 5 times what other roofing companies charge then reducing the price to only 3 times what other companies charge for their very top of the line materials and workmanship there were too many red flags … We were exposed to their shady and high pressure salesmanship and after over 6 hours we had enough. We had the roof replaced by another firm ... These people are thieves.

Sales call was not pushy, price was good and install in cold weather was quick and very neat. People very polite and pleasant.

Workmen came when scheduled, knew what they were doing and were very professional while on the job.

It went very well. They took the old wooden rails down, carried them off and put the new vinyl rails up. The workers cleaned up very well after they finished working.

On the posts and railings job not completed according to job older. No detailed prices given, just total cost. No choices offered on financing. Warranty given did not apply to materials used in either job.

The workman arrived on time. He explained exactly what work he was going to do. He asked permission to have his equiptment in our driveway. He went to work right away and worked through the first day by himself. He completed the frunt of the house that day. The workman returned the next day with a helper. The two of them completed the rest of the house that day.They cleaned up the area before they left and had the yard looking like they hadn't been there. They were very careful workers and did an excellent job.

The first problem was they installed j-channels around the windows that were the same color as the siding but our window trim is white. I asked and was told 'that is always the way we do it, trust us it looks better this way'. It doesn't. Then, rather than asking us to remove the screens from the inside, they pried all the screens off bending quite a few. They put the shutters back very sloppily (one was upside down!), and a few spots had to be re-done they were so bad. After they cleaned up and left, we noticed that one of our screens and a light fixture were missing. The doorbell was put in so badly that to get it to work we had to push the siding around it in. They came back many times to fix these things and the people who came back were responsive but we got really tired of having to call them. We specifically chose a reputable company so that wouldn't happen! They did not clean up well, we still find nails in the bushes. The house looks good now, but it was a bad experience.

They cleaned up pretty well and were neat during the course of the work. They made sure to take all of our suggestions to heart. They were friendly and reasonably priced. I would recommend them to other people any time. They are a great company to work with.

The door ordered was not what I was sold and the trim around the door was not the right color. The door I was sold does not exist and could not be installed. It took 2 months to finally come to an agreement. Their solution was to offer to install another door elsewhere for free. Again, they did not have a door that fit that opening. We settled on my paying my initial deposit of $1,000 for the door and their changing the trim color. If I had known they did not carry the products they claimed to have, I would never have done business with them. I ended up dealing with the VP of the company who was condescending and around whose schedule I had to work. I would never do business with this company again and will make it my personal mission to try to save others from having to deal with them.

They did great. They showed up early each day and worked hard until the job was done. They cleaned up all the mess from the tear off and installed the siding without leaving any mess for me to clean up. They were a trustworthy crew to be out on the property and we weren't worried at all.

They did a pretty good job. I was impressed with the quality of work that was done by these people. I think that they did a great job and I would refer them to anyone. They made sure to answer all of my questions and to finish the job in a good amount of time.

I hired Paramount Builders to put up vinyl siding on my home because the paint was starting to look bad. The work they did was excellent it looks like I have a totally new house. The only thing I didn't like was that it took them two weeks to get out there to do it.
