Jacob's Ladder Siding Roofing Windows Painting

After initial email contact with Jacob's Ladder, I received a return phone call the next day and met with Justin the day after to review scope of work. Justin was attentive to what needed to be done and provided knowledgeable and detailed feedback on how Jacob's Ladder would accomplish. Received a quote within 24 hours. After several months of contacting and meeting with many other contractors, some of who never even returned a quote, I accepted Jacob's Ladder quote, it was prompt, competitive and completely detailed the scope of work with itemized pricing. Upon acceptance of their quote, I was immediately contacted by Reagan who would be the Project Manager. Reagan detailed how the job would be accomplished, carpentry first followed by painting, and his expected timeline. Work commenced within two weeks. Even amidst the continuous rainfall this June, Jacob's Ladder worked every day possible, including Saturdays, to get the job completed without risking leaving the house unprotected from the rain or exposing fresh paint to rain. I was always informed what days they would work and not. The quality of all work was exceptional. The siding and trim carpentry, which was a substantial amount of work, was without flaw including window and door brick molding, door jambs, and window sill nosings. All painting was hand brushed and meticulous. The original 3 panel patio door was not a standard size, but necessary modifications to the rough opening were made and the finished product appears as if it was a perfect fit. $15000 is a lot of work to be accomplished with numerous opportunities for the job to go south. The entire job went without issue. When Jacob's Ladder said they were done, my final inspection punch list was - nothing. A job very well done. I couldn't be more satisfied.

They did a great job with aluminum siding.

Excellent job. Friendly workers were on time. Covered all the plants, railings, and sidewalks so there were no drips anywhere. Meticulouse care with lines of paint next to other features. This work included dropping down from the roof to get to otherwise inaccessible places.

We were having our Colonial home repainted after nine years. There was a lot of repair work that needed to be done, so that was an area of concern to us. Actually, Jacob's Ladder did an estimate for the entire job but another company was a little bit less expensive so I went with them. The interview/estimate process with Jacob's Ladder was terrific! Their estimate was very thorough and I was very impressed with their carpentry/repair approach. I then discovered that Jacob's Ladder would be the sub-contractor for the main contractor for the repair work - - - this was the best of all worlds for us! And it is absolutely great to see "competitors" work well together and compliment one another. All parties worked extremely well together and I had Jacob's Ladder do some additional carpentry work. I will definately call upon Jacob's Ladder for any future work that I might need to have done at our home.

Jacob's Ladder did an excellent job for me. I was very satisfied with their work. In addition to the work contracted for, all doors were painted, one of the front columns was replaced, and all new outside lighting was installed, at no extra charge. When my old metal rails did not fit the newly wrapped columns, Justin was able to negotiate vinyl replacement rails for me at a discounted price. A few follow up "punch list" items were handled very professionally, in a very timely manner. The yard, porch, and surrounding area were cleaned at end of every day and thoroughly cleaned at end of job. My overall experience with Jacob's Ladder was a very positive one, and I highly recommend their work.

They were expeditious on the quote, have good communication and easy to deal with.They cleaned up every day.

The pricing was high. They were very responsive. The quality of the work was good. The only thing was that I had to have them come back a few times to finish up the work. They needed to come back and touch up some painting and that happened a few times.

They were awesome. We had a few little issues and they were right back out to correct them after we talked to them. They began and completed the job in the time they said they would.

Couldn't have gone better. We have done business with Jacob's Ladder for several years after discovering them on Angie's List. Projects have included exterior repair work, replacement windows and patio doors, exterior painting, and deck staining, We have been pleased with them every time. This most recent job was to re-stain our deck which had become rather weathered. We contacted Seth and he recommended someone to power-wash the deck first. Then Seth came out to do an assessment and agreed that it needed a double coat on the lateral surfaces. The painter showed up on time on the appointed date -- the same painter who'd previously stained the deck and done other painting work over the past several years. After spending the better part of the day re-staining everything agreed upon, he returned two days later -- as agreed upon -- to apply the second coat the the lateral surfaces. The work was excellent. Because the job took less time than originally estimated, the original estimated price was reduced to reflect this fact. Because of our continual satisfaction with this company, we have yet another job that we are going to have Jacob's Ladder do for us this summer.

We were first introduced to Jacob's Ladder through our contractor who used them as sub on a remodel job. They did an excellent job so we asked them to quote on a large interior and exterior project for our new house. They were more expensive than an independent guy who came highly recommended so we elected not to use them. That turned out to be a big mistake. We ended up having Jacobs Ladder complete the interior work and also the entire exterior project for us. They were excellent to deal with from start to finish. Everyone we interact with (Seth, Justin, Reagan and all their crew) is courteous, responsive and professional. They are easy to contact and communicate with at any time. Their quotes are specific and comprehensive. They completed our job right on schedule and the workmanship was excellent. The crew that worked at our house was a pleasure to have around and was very respectful and courteous to our children, pets, friends and neighbors. Jacobs Ladder will always be our first call for all of our painting needs.

The team arrived exactly on time and were very professional. Did an excellent job. Pointed out a couple places that also needed repair and fixed them as well. The paint matched exactly and you cannot tell where they worked. It was seamless to the rest of the siding. There was no evidence that they had been there when they left. I didn't even find the odd nail laying on the ground. Gret job. Would consider using them again for any additional work that might com up in the future.

They were on time and right on schedule. Their clean-up was thorough and I would definitely use them again. The gentlemen that showed up for the job were knowledgeable in their field, competent professional and courteous.

They were very responsive to initial contact and gave me a good estimate. I pointed out the work I needed and description was provided and questions answered. The sub-contractor came out and spray washed the house, good job, no issues. Jacobs Ladder began by performing the repair work, then prepped the house by scraping and caulking the exterior. They didn't rush this, spent at least two days prepping. So that's a good thing. This was followed by about three days of painting. Overall, the job went very well and I am satisfied with the results. They were even kind enough to haul off a scrap exterior door that weighed about 100 pounds for me. The only thing of note I have is that at the end of the job there were several cigarette butts in my yard. Since I'm an occasional smoker this would not have bothered me except for the fact I advised them that I had just re-seeded the yard, and my exterior trash can was right there in the driveway, so no need to treat my yard as an ashtray. It's not much, but it is my Home :) So I would have given a B for Professionalism, but I offset this due to the fact they were good enough to go a little extra and haul off the old door for me. However, they should ensure this doesn't happen, as I know that some people would be absolutely LIVID over something like this, especially non smokers. If you're that type of person, do a good walk around afterwards looking for things like this. I'm pretty sure it wasn't the power washer, as he was only here a short while and I never heard any break in his work. Overall, very good job, and I would recommend and use them again.

Jacobs Ladder was extremely prompt and thorough in completing the work. There was a delay in installing the front door because the hardware store ordered the wrong door. However, Jacobs Ladder stayed on top of the store to get the correct door and kept me apprised of the situation. As soon as the correct door arrived, they installed it. They even called me to follow up on items instead of me having to call them.

We have nothing but good things to say about our experience with everyone at Jacob?s Ladder. Working with them was a delightful experience and what can I say, the house looks beautiful. Thoroughly knowledgeable in all aspects of our project, Reagan and his crew politely steered us with good advice when faced with a variety of decisions along the way (i.e., paint and caulking selection, carpentry repairs). Oscar and his painting colleagues Jose and Luis were terrific, on time, diligent ? a real pleasure. As an artist myself, I am keenly observant of the process and the esthetic detail. So, I was particularly impressed with their diligence and painting technique. They did an excellent job. They were professional at every stage from quote to follow-up, until we were completely satisfied. The finished work speaks for itself. The house has never looked better and needless to say, we would have no hesitation hiring Jacob?s Ladder to do other projects in the future. In fact, we?ve already gotten Justin?s proposal on an inside project we?re eager to have done in the Spring.

This company was wonderful! Very professional and friendly. Oscar was our team leader on site every day and was terrific to work with - any comments or requests for changes or corrections were taken care of right away. Reagan tracked down our paint colors even though the company that originally made the colors had been acquired and he was able to match things perfectly. The team working on our home kept the area clean and safe for the kids. Most importantly, they made sure every single window in the house opened before they left - some of these windows were probably stuck shut from the original paint job when the house was built! We have gotten a number of comments from neighbors about how nice the house looks and have given out the company's contact information many times.

The experience was fine. The man initially came out only to give us an estimate on painting the exterior, but when we said we also were thinking of replacing the windows he said the company could do that as well. He told us a bit about vinyl windows and a bit about painting. He was friendly; the only thing lacking was specificity about the job on our 90-year-old house.

Work performed as estimated. No surprises.

Wonderful experience from first contact to completion of project. Timely, respectful of my property and willing to do whatever was necessary to satisfy. Arrived on time each day and worked diligently in the worst of summer heat! Everything cleaned up each evening as though no one had been working there all day. Have hired for subsequent work at my place of employment and they did an outstanding job working within my tight timetable. You will be glad you hired them!

The job was completed within about a week and a half. Considering the size of the job, I was very pleased with their progress. Reagan stayed in contact and let us know when workers would come out and/or when he had to make minor adjustments in the schedule. When the work neared completion, I put together a punch list of items (again, considering the size of this job, the punch list was extremely short) which were completed in a day. Overall, a very professionally done job. I would use them again without hesitation and give them my full recommendation.

We have used this contractor several times in the past and went to them again because of past experience. All it took was a quick e-mail to Seth Dorotich to arrange a meeting to discuss the job and get rough measurements. Seth then set up a second meeting so the Vinyl-Kraft sales representative could make precise measurements for manufacture of the units. As soon as the new units had arrived, Seth contacted me to set up an installation date. On that morning, the crew arrived right on time, along with Seth who introduced me to the crew. Seth returned later to oversee the completion of the work. Of particular note was the fact that after making all the necessary open/close/lock adjustments, the installers had me go through the processes to ensure that I was fully satisfied with the workings. After all was done, Seth Dorotich did a walk-through with me to ensure that I was satisfied with everything. Jacob's Ladder is a highly professional operation.

We contacted 4 different companies before deciding on Jacob's Ladder. Seth was excellent to work with. He was quick to respond and complete and accurate with his estimate. The work was done on time as proposed and completed in one day. The crew that Seth sent was very knowledgeable, hard working, and meticulous in their work. They did a beautiful job and cleaned up afterwards. I could not be happier with the cost of the job or the quality of the work done.

We were thrilled with the work that Jacob's Ladder did on our home, and it looks great! They were very responsive and easy to work with. Seth stopped by the house frequently to check on the progress and touch base with us, and was quick to follow up on any questions or concerns. Oscar and his crew were very personable and hard-working, and went above and beyond their responsibilities to take care of numerous little details that arose along the way. They showed up promptly when scheduled and finished the job ahead of schedule. We experienced a few "nail pops" that just barely broke the surface of a couple of interior walls, which is apparently rare but occurred because of unseen structural elements in our home. When this was discovered, Seth again went over and above our expectations by pursuing exact color matching and having entire walls repaired and repainted, rather than just doing the "spot repairs" that we anticipated. Their painter did a great job on both the interior and exterior parts of the job. We are very satisfied with their work and would recommend them highly without question!
