They initially placed two ducts on top of each other in the basement, lowering the ceiling height from 9' to 6'. They also connected the 1st floor study to the basement Rec Room zone AND the 1st floor family room zone. The repairs they did in the basement caused so much drywall dust, we have never been able to get it out of the tile grout, fabrics and brick columns (no they didn't cover anything). The study is still supplied by two zones. The drain line leading away from one of the two furnaces sloped up instead of down, so the unit tripped repeatedly. They replaced the floater, the sensor and basically rebuilt the furnace before we went to another contractor who discovered the improper drain line. In fairness, HVAC by JM has refunded the unnecessary visit costs, but the trust has been lost.

. They are very professional. I highly recommend them. They are courteous and they cleaned up after themselves. This is what you expect from that type of a technician. I would use them in the future.

ECS provided an excellent experience in replacing our HVAC system. We evaluated all options, Electrical, Natural Gas, Oil and Geothermal systems. ECS performed an ROI evaluation using our data, and explained everything professionally and with considerable detail. All work was performed on time, as stated in the proposal. Crews were professional, clean, polite and knowledgeable, and cleaned up thoroughly after all work.

From the thorough estimate - that was cheaper by thousands than their 2 competitors - to the finished product, ECS kept us informed and answered every question we had along the way. Their workers were prompt, courteous and kept to their schedule.

Paul Harris came out, did a site survey, gave me all the information I needed on geothermal heat pumps, gave me an accurate estimate and coordinated all the work required to get the job done. He, and everyone associated with the project were very nice, polite, professional and reliable. In this recordbreaking heat (June 2010) my house is a cool 73 degrees and my electric bill has literally been cut in half. A nice 30% tax credit helped offset the initial cost.

Everything turned out to be fabulous and the work was really, really good. They did the heat pump installation and another company dug the trenches. It was a pretty huge project. They were professional, on-time and came when they said they would come. They got the stuff in when they said they would get it in and it has been working really very well. The support after the job has been good. I am really, really happy with them. They gave me top of the line unit.
