James arrived on time, seemed to be very thorough and careful with the seasonal maintenance, checked out the one concern I had, and thoroughly explained the issue he found and repaired.

Evan was very professional and personable. When I scheduled I was given a 2 hour window in which the technician would arrive and it was right in the middle of that. They also called me when Evan was in route. He made sure I was happy and offered to answer any questions before he left.

Installed early January. They were wonderful. We are fairly new to Virginia and this area. We weren't sure who to trust, with not having friends in the area. This company was wonderful. One of the owners came out for the initial estimate. Agreeing to the good price and timeline, we had it installed 2 days later. The other owner handled the contracts and scheduling. Easy to communicate with and very quick to respond and answer all of my questions. Very prompt and professional tradesmen. More clean then I had expected. They remove both outdoor units and the pads, put in new level pads, removed old electrical from one side of the house, installed new electrical lines, removed condensate lines and replaced with new, replaced old gas furnace and made new custom duct work in the garage to be up to code, then did the same to the upstairs electric furnace and AC. They also widened the downstairs duct work at the intake vent, fixed a broken vent and reattached fallen ductwork in the crawl space. The original owner came back out to inspect the work and make sure we were completely satisfied with the units and install. Very happy with everything. Will continue to use their company for years to come. Highly recommended.

The crew did a great job installing our new systems both upstairs and down. We are on their annual maintenance plan and Kyle has always been very professional and accommodating. If we need any help Short Pump responds quickly. Overall we have had a very good working relationship with Short Pump.

I decided to call this company because they replaced my Aqua Therm system 3 years ago but had to come back several times to replace the hot water heater. I thought I would give them another chance. When I called October 19th 2018, I reminded them, that I had the Aqua Therm system and that my hot water was not keeping a steady temperature, especially in the shower. Short Pump sent a plumber who proceeded to tell me that it was not the hot water heater. I asked him what about the check valve in the air handler and he said he knew nothing about that the heating system. The hot water heater and air handler work together to heat the house and regulate the hot water, he obviously did not know the system. So that was a waste of time and I had taken time off from work to meet him. I called the office and they set up a time slot for the next day for the heating guy to come out. So the following I left work again and met the guy. He looked at the air handler asked me why he was there, I explained the problem and said that it was the Hot Water heater!! It was obvious that he had not talked to the plumber or the office on what had occurred the day before...I said " What about the check valve on the air handler and he said it was the hot water heater and left. I called another heating and air company, and within 5 min. solved the problem...It was the Check valve that needed to be replaced! When I talked with the manager at Short Pump Heating and Air he said he was sorry, that they sent the wrong technicians out that didn't know about Aqua Therm systems...and that I would not be billed...No kidding they wasted my time. They offered to give me free A/C maintenance in the Spring and next Fall I don't have that in writing. That is the only reason I didn't give them an F. I used the other plumber and the job was completed in an hour.

Outstanding. Daniel is a pleasure to have visit. He called prior to the appointment, showed up on time, and could not have been nicer to us. He goes the extra mile in making the visit informative and pleasant, and willingly and patiently answers our questions. Our dog wanted to chew his shoe covers and felt that Daniel was there to play with him. We would recommend him without reservation.
