I called on July 3rd and they were here on the 5th an hour and a half ahead of schedule. Not bad. My only complaint is nobody told me about the travel charge. Oh, well. I have my sink back and that's what counts. Turns out, the price estimates on Angie's List were spot on. Just another great reason to keep my membership.

Went fine...had an issue with it a couple weeks later with leaking at base. Leaking was caused by failure in provided wax ring. Even though, in my opinion they should have charged me for replacing the original wax ring I provided, they replaced the wax ring at no charge. That kind of customer service is why they handle all my hvac needs and now my plumbing needs.

I have done three quotes for this unit. These guys were the most trustworthy, accommodating, affordable, and professional. It was a real pleasure to work with them and will hire them again for my future A.C./heating needs.

They were great. I liked the owner. It was the owner that came out to do the actual estimate. I like supporting small companies, it seems more, I don't know, I won't say intimate, but I had more of a relationship with the company than with the bigger competitor. Short Pump initially gave a better offer by a long shot than the other. They were able to discuss everything with me in detail. But, the person who came out initially to look at our system was very professional, very helpful. He took pictures of the parts that were very bad so we could see for ourselves what we needed. Unfortunately, we went back and forth on the price they weren't able to go as low as the competitor so we went with the competitor.

They were very good, very nice. They're excellent. Only one person came out to do the check up. It took 40 minutes. They washed and waxed the heat pump and everything!

They are very professional. I initially had WG Speeks in my service contract. I had a problem with my AC last year and they asked me to wait because they were too busy despite the fact that I had a yearly contract... so why bother paying for the whole year. I am glad then to contact Short pump Heating and Air. They took care of the problem and explain in detail. Since then I change my yearly service with them, which is slightly more expensive, yet when there is a repair they provide a discount as a member. I later had a glich with my Next, which hey came next day to take care off... Two works : Amazing service!!

Got a very quick appointment. They were prompt and efficient. They had to order a part but came back the first of the week, installed the part and inspected the system to make sure all was working well. I was pleased with the work and decided to get a service contract for both air conditioning and heat. They also honored a coupon form Angies list which was great.

They are very good. They are excellent. They remind you. They come, they check. They are very thorough. I have one of their cards because they just sent me a card as a reminder. They come just before the summer and come just before the winter. I give them A on everything, don't ask me any questions. They are all A. I have to call them now before the winter comes. They sent me a reminder in the mail.

Setting up the service was easy. The attendant was very polite on the phone. The technician showed up on time. The purpose of the service was for winter maintenance. During the check up, he identified one problem that required him to go get a part. He explained the problem to me and showed me the where it was. He quickly found the part, did the repair and completed the rest of the service. Everything was fast, easy and efficient. The technician was very friendly and knowledgeable about the units.

This was the first time that we have used Short Pump Heating and Air. Our main floor AC united failed late on a Friday afternoon. The technician arrived shortly after our call and quickly diagnosed the problem. Unfortunately, he couldn't obtain one of the needed parts because the manufacturer distribution center has already closed for the weekend. However, he obtained the part first thing Monday morning and had the AC working within an hour of arriving at our home. The people I spoke with on the phone and the technician were easy to deal with. The technician was very friendly and clearly explained what had to be done. He even tried to obtain the needed part on Saturday so that we would not have to go the weekend without A/C. We are very happy with the service that this company provided.

The provider said they fixed the problem, but the leak was still dripping water--as we learned after we had paid. I called the after hours number to schedule time but the provider would not come back once we connected saying we had missed the very small window of time that met their convenience--not ours. They could not come today / Friday and did not consider our problem of high enough priority for after hours work, so we won't have a shower now for at least a week unless I can get someone this weekend :-(

Very pleased with the entire experience. I was looking to replace a 20 year old system that was on its last legs and I received quotes from multiple companies. Short Pump Heating and Air's quote was the perfect balance in terms of overall value. Ryan and Matt paid attention to the key features I was looking for and put together a very competitive quote. We scheduled the work within a week and the install team was quick and professional. A week later the follow-up inspection went just as well. Will be sticking with Short Pump Heating and Air for my ongoing maintenance and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

While I was removing my lawn chair from the crawl space I hit a pipe and sprang a major leak. I called Short Pump HVAC and Plumbing because have never let me down. I called and Jessica was so sweet and recognized the urgency of my water being shut off. Jeff arrived within an hour. Cheery as always, he explained what he would do. He stayed until the glue dried and rechecked the pipes to make sure their was no further leak. He even welcomed me to print a coupon. I really love this company. Each technician is more friendly and thorough than the last. Thanks!!!

They were great. It was quick and efficient. They made sure I understood the operation of the thermostat. The owner followed up later that week.

Unbelievable service. Really. I am amazed. We are taking care of my mother-in-law, a very frail old woman with Alzheimer's. She gets cold even in the Summer time! Our heat pump went out this morning. I called this provider because of Angie's list reviews. Wow. They came out immediately and fixed the problem. They are professional, punctual, and honest. They had every opportunity to take advantage of us because we had to get the problem fixed for the sake of my mother-in-law. Instead, they fixed the problem what I consider to be a low cost. And they were able to diagnose the problem so quickly. Wow. Wow. Wow. They have earned our repeat business. They are now in my rolodex.

They did a great job. About half the heating in the house was not working. We have baseboard water heating and had tried bleeding the pipes to get the air out. After a couple unsuccessful attempts, we called SPH&A. Despite them being very busy, they arrived within a few hours and had our heat working within an hour. They provided quick service at a reasonable cost. Our technician answered all of our questions and was patient with a couple curious children watching him work. We had a great experience and would not hesitate to call them again.

After experiencing the first heat wave of 2015 back in late May it was immediately apparent that our two existing 15 year old air residential conditioner units were on their last legs and needed to be replaced very soon. We also knew that our original hot water tank and two furnace units were approaching the end of their economic lives. As a result we were willing to consider replacing some or all of this equipment at the same time for the right "bundled discount" offer. After checking out all related reviews on both Angie's list and Consumer Reports websites, as well as consulting with neighbors who had recently replaced their a/c and furnace systems, we starting gathering quotes from several reputable local service providers. The list of equipment air conditioner and furnace manufacturers we considered included American Standard, Carrier, Bryant, and Rheem. From beginning to end we could not have been happier with our experience working with the collective Short Pump Heating & Air Team. Our initial desperate phone call to schedule a home visit was answered promptly by their friendly customer service team. In less than 24 hours Matt Seay arrived at our home, inspected our systems, and confirmed our assessment that a total system replacement was the most cost effective solution given the age and condition of our existing units. Matt provided us with extremely competitive bundled and unbundled quotes for two new Carrier 2.5 ton air conditioner units, two Carrier high efficiency gas furnaces, and a Bradford White hot water heater. Equally important, Matt confirmed that this equipment could be ordered and installed within a week once we made a final decision to proceed. Ryan Lancaster was on hand as well to oversee all work. To a person, every Short Pump team member was extremely courteous and professional. By early afternoon they had removed all our old equipment, successfully installed our new a/c and furnace units, cleaned everything up and even trained us on how use our new systems. We couldn?t believe that we were already enjoying a cooler more comfortable home! This could have easily been 1+ day installation given the extensive scope involved. The fact that Ryan had two full crews on site to ensure our immediate comfort speaks volumes about his company's client-first perspective. Suffice it to say we were beyond impressed by the outstanding service received throughout our installation experience. Everyone from the office staff to the technician was kind. courteous, timely and professional. My central air stopped cooling, and they sent someone out within 24 hours. Daniel assessed my system (which is 13 years old) and had it running again in an hour. The trip charge was $89 which they inform you of right from the start so that there are no surprises. The repair was $225. which was discounted to $175 when I signed up for the maintenance plan, and all future trip fees are waived when you become a customer, The maintenance plan was $219 for twice a year tune ups and troubleshooting, They returned in 2 days to do the routine maintenance. I am pleased with the service provided by this company.

Short Pump Heating, Air and Plumbing exceeded my expectations. I can see why they have gotten so many service awards. I called with questions about replacing a 19 year old functioning water heater. Within minutes I was speaking with the owner in person who came out to assess and measure my unit. The next day the workman (employees not subcontractors) were installing the unit. I was amazed at how pleasant and hard working they were. I paid extra to get a drip pan and piping that drains outside my home. They did a great job with that too. I have found my new HVAC/plumbing team! Thank you!

Because I had such a great experience with the water heater the day before I called them back for an HVAC tune-up. It turns out my home was quite out of date. In addition to the tune up (for which a 90 dollar Dominion rebate applies, per system), I needed a few other odds and ends such as a U-shaped trap that improves access for cleaning. I am not normally one to buy service plans and warranties but I would want this company to keep my aging units running as long as possible. Part of the service plan is a discount on repairs presumably because they should happen so infrequently. The repairman went above and beyond and explained everything to me. Over the course of two days I spent several hundred dollars on them but Short Pump Heating, Air and Plumbing was worth every penny!
