Ephraim Floors & Remodeling

This is the second time we hired Ephraim Floors and Remodeling. The first time was to do hardwood refinishing and they did really great job and completed the job on time. That is why we called and hired them to do a rehab for our second home. This time though, they did a horrible job and didn’t even finished the rehab job as per our contract. Here are the issues we encountered: 1. When they were doing the interior painting, they didn’t properly covered the floor and paint was all over our hard wood floors. They also didn’t remove any of the power outlet covers when they paint 2. Per the contract, they were supposed to change the kitchen countertop but without even letting us know in advance, they installed the existing countertop over the new kitchen cabinets 3. They didn’t properly installed the upstairs toilet seats after installing the flooring which caused water to leak and damaged the drywall. See the attached photos 4. Per our contract, they were supposed to change the cabinets in the upstairs bathroom but didn’t complete that job 5. Water supply line connection is removed from downstairs bathroom and tank lid was missing Per our contract, we paid 50% of the rehab cost on the day we signed the contract and the remaining 50% to be due on when the job is completed. However, the owner, Dagmo told me that his father passed away and he needed the money for the burial service. I felt sorry for his loss and gave him half of what should have been paid when the job was completed. I haven’t heard from him after that. I trusted him given he said he is a pastor and a man of faith.

I was tried to explain that I wanted an estimate or quote for getting new flooring put in, but they were not willing to listen to me and hung up on me before I could explain my situation to them. I would not recommend contacting this company.

Dagmo and his crews were very polite, efficient and were very conscious of cleaning up after the jobs. They did excellent work on both projects.

Install was quick, professional and a very good value. Coordinating the installation date was easy and the team was able to start the very next week which was also important to me as the customer. Look forward to working with Ephraim Floors & Remodeling in the future.

The crew was very polite and easy to work with. They took care of every detail we asked them to and was happy to touch up anything we needed. Not even the sun and heat stopped them from getting the job done in a timely manor.

They did an amazing job installing our wood floors and staining our stairway. We needed our floors finished in a short span of time before moving in and they provided a fast and quality service. Reasonably priced and great service, would definitely call them again for any future jobs.

We are really happy with them. They were on time every day, kept my house clean, took the trash way. Really polite guy and the most important, reasonable on the price. My floor looks awesome, recommend 100%.

Jason and his team helped us renovate a sizable area of our house including refinishing all of our hardwood floors, and completely renovating a guest bathroom. They also painted and installed trim/moulding for our entire second floor. They are great, and I plan to use them again!
