We had a nice sales rep who gave us a detailed quote which was high compared to a competitor's quote. After some negotiations and a call to the owner we agree on a price (they started too high). The hurricane hit in September soon after the quote was given and we had to wait a long time for them to catch up enough to get to our installation in early November. They did respond nicely to my calls for a time of installation. They scheduled the installation then had to delay for a couple more days due to lack of materials (but they called to let me know). The workmen arrived on a Monday morning and were polite and professional. They worked quickly and quietly. They did not make a mess. Their work was meticulous and precise. They asked questions as to my preference when confronted with an odd decision due to the angles of my roof line. They had to work high on their ladders and seems quite at ease and careful. They finished after two days of work. The work looks better than I had expected and I am very pleased with the job. The workers cleaned up after themselves and took away all trash and materials not used. I would have given them an overall "A" rating but 1) the first quote was way too high 2) they took too long to get here (but the hurricane was reasonable excuse). I would give them an "A" for the actual work. I would recommend them and their gutter work from my experience.

A great job!! All work was scheduled and completed as expected. Great care was taken to make sure that the fit was correct and that it looked correct. For this size of house and the number of corners that were custom-fit the price was great. There were a couple of areas that did not seal correctly and they came back immediately to take care of it. There was a slight problem with one of the over-sized downspout not able to follow the one that was replaced. It was taken care of correctly and the other drainage area covered properly..

They did a really good job. They were fast and efficient. They matched the product with what I wanted and gave me a discount on the color I wanted as they had plenty of it in stock. They were patient with me while I got the financing in place for this job.

I wanted to submit this review to help you in case you are going to try BNW builders. They appear to be very proficient in the roofing business – among several others in the area they hold a high certification from GAF. I really was sold on their ability and quality of materials and roofing business practices. I should have been alerted at one level when a Sales Representative came to give us a quote. On their advertisements they display a Christian symbol which gave me further confidence. But at the conclusion of the sales discussion and the presentation of the quote – I thought the amount was excessive. From that point my wife and I were subjected to a pure sales routine – identical to the stereotypical automotive sales pitch. A quick discount was offered. After more discussion another number was presented. To top it off – the rep was put off that we would not sign the quote right then even after telling him that we never buy on the spot. In true car salesman fashion he promised to talk to someone at the office and call me the next day. At this point we were not going to deal with an organization that uses these tactics. The next day he did call with yet another number and after telling him that I was not interested – he offered a final number – but that number would not include several of the features that made them attractive in the first place - at the price offered I would have to accept a lesser warranty on the shingles and no manufacturer inspection to name two. After refusing this offer a terse “Have a blessed day” from the sales rep ended the conversation. I offer this information to you – so that if you choose to deal with BNW builders – get assurance that you will not be subjected to this type of experience. I subsequently went with another vendor who seemed to be able to offer a price quote that was reasonable and used the same high-quality materials BNW offered (Lifetime Architectural shingles, to name just one) without game-playing. BNW appears to be a fine organization technically but unfortunately with these sales practices make sure you get several estimates and find someone in management – not sales – to deal with if you choose them as a candidate.

Clear expectations, started and finished timely. A little slow to respond between the time we signed the contract and the time the project started. Not much on communication during the project but overall completely satisfied. They were more expensive than Nathan's but I felt that BNW offer better quality and more features. BNW even negotiated on the price when I showed them the quote from Nathan's.

They said at the initial visit that they would have the pricing for me tomorrow. Then when they did not provide it I contacted them. They said that their suppliers are not in the area so it would take a little longer. Then I contacted them a week later. I asked them if they could at least let me know if they intend to do business with me. I never got a response.
