Absolute Asphalt

Provider arrived as scheduled. Removed vegetation and treated area for future growth . . . graded and packed area . . . spread and packed asphalt. Overall they met contracted obligations. However there was an issue with the removal of a small tree stump that cracked the existing cement entrance to my garage. Common Sense (CS) requires a before and after picture of the area being paved and its surounding area (my CS was on vacation). They did not fix the crack in my cement.

After a long wait due to rain backlog and one rain delay on our date, we were called and advised that Absolute Asphalt would be at our home between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm on Monday. At 1:00 on the dot the trucks and crew pulled up in front of our house. Immediately, the crew started removing the old driveway and edging. By 4:00 pm we had a new driveway, all the area was cleaned and they were finished. The crew was neat, efficient and polite. The equipment was clean and well maintained. All in all, the work was quick, efficient and well done. Being a Construction Manager for my profession, I would love to have Absolute Asphalt as a contractor on my jobs.

Absolute Asphalt did a great job, I chose them based on their high ratings on Angie's List and a very competitive price, it wasn't the lowest bid...but it wasn't much higher than the lowest bid - and they did a great job on the driveway. Both Brian and Roxanne were very responsive in keeping me updated on scheduling and helping to troubleshoot a few issues we had with paving over tree roots and the stump of an old basketball hoop. They told me up front that they were booked up for about a month or more depending on how inclement weather could delay things even farther. I opted to wait and the work they did was worth it.

They did a great job. They were fast and efficient.

Brian and his crew did a fabulous job! He did everything that he promised for the price quoted and the work has a very "High Quality" appearance. The water flow has been significantly improved, (to the point where it is no longer an issue) which is a major feat since the garage and driveway are on the high side of the property which is situated on the side of a slight hill.

This work was done two years ago, however, I just signed up for Angie's List. I'm not surprised at all to see an A for their overall rating. The old driveway was never maintained and had massive pot holes and pieces missing. AA repaired the broken parts, put a nice thick coating of asphalt over the existing driveway, and added a parking lot area at the back of my home near the garage. These guys were superb. The owner is a working manager and he's a perfectionist. I expected it to look "nice", but the finished results amazed me. I work from home and watched as they did it and the owner directed his guys the entire time and put forth a great deal of effort to make sure it was done right. His professionalism and attention to detail impressed me. They've since sealed the driveway and as expected, it looks just as great as I knew it would.

What a great experience. Called in June and Brian came out within a few days to give me an estimate. I had two other estimates and went with Absolute Asphalt. The work was scheduled for July as they were very busy. On the scheduled day Brian called and moved it out a few days due to all the rain we had. The work was performed as agreed on a very hot day in July. My driveway is awesome. My neighbors have commented on how great it looks. It is such a pleasure to have an asphalt driveway after having a gravel one. Thanks Brian.

Absolute Asphalt gave me a per square foot estimate over the phone based upon my measurements. When they finally arrived after many rain delays, Brian and his co-worker quickly cleaned and sealed my driveway. Although his measurement was a bit higher than mine, and the charge would have been more, he did not increase the amount. Absolute Asphalt kept in constant contact with me during the rain delays which I appreciated. Very professional company.

Brian was fabulous! What a professional company! We planned a date a month out from our initial quote so we could finish our projects to be ready for the driveway. Absolute Asphalt stayed in communication with us to make sure we were both still on track. They showed up at the exact time they had promised the day of the install and it was amazing to watch the team work it took to get the job done beautifully. Brian's quote for the job was lower than our others and it included much more of what we wanted but thought would exceed our budget. We love our new driveway! Thanks Brian and Roxanne! I was looking for a company to patch and seal our very badly worn driveway, to make it look nicer for putting our house on the market. After I called Absolute Asphalt for an estimate, it was only a couple of days before Brian showed up to take a look. I told him exactly what I expected him to do and he told me exactly what to expect from the procedure. We made an appointment for the work in about three weeks. About two weeks later, though, I got a call from their office to let me know they had a cancellation that next day and that I could take it. I agreed. About six guys showed up the next day around noon and got right to work. First they had to dig up two areas of the driveway that were absolutely crumbling. Then they had to prepare that for the asphalt and filled the area at the top of the driveway and worked down until they got to the crumbling portion at the bottom of the driveway. The rest of the driveway was cleared of debris, cracks and holes patched, and then spray sealed. These guys definitely know what they are doing. I enjoyed watching them, because everyone seemed to know just what to do at just the right time. I would definitely recommend Brian Rodill and his crew at Absolute Asphalt.

The team of workers came in weeks earlier than planned (due to a cancellation, which was great for us) with all of the machinery needed to prepare and replace the driveway. They worked like a well-oiled machine to complete the work within a few hours. They removed the grass and soil with a mini-bulldozer in order to make the driveway wider, & busted up the asphalt that had holes, etc. Then they came in with a truck with the asphalt and spread it over the entire driveway with the bulldozer and another machine, including the new & repaired areas. Then they used a roller to smooth the asphalt flat. They even strapped flat pads on their shoes to reach areas too small to be reached with the roller. They put a tape across the driveway & told us to wait 4 days to use the driveway because of the heat. We are very satisfied with their work, and plan to use them again, and we are more than happy to recommend them to others!

The entire experience with Aboslute Asphalt was very pleasant from start to finish. I got a quick response to my request for quote. They showed up on time for the estimation. The price was very competitive compared to a couple of other quote i got. At the agreed day, the rain delayed the work. I was informed about that very early. I was also correctly informed when they would do the job, and had ample time to prepare for it. When they arrive,d they were very professional and efficient. From what I could they really were detailed oriented and got the job done in the estimated time frame. All in all, a very good experience, and the product looks very good!

Absolute Asphalt came out and gave me a very competitive quote. They showed up on time and were very pleasant to speak with. We agreed on the work and they showed up on time and got started at 8 am on the day we agreed on. They ripped out my existing driveway and found a good sized sink hole left where tree roots had once been. They put down lime and brought in dirt. They took care of the problem without complaint. I came home at 4 pm that evening to a brand new perfect driveway. It was a flawless transaction from start to finish. I particularly compliment then on fixing the hole and doing what was necessary to fill in the ground without any complaints what so ever. It was extra work for them to do it and they did it graciously. A very fine company that I give my highest recommendations to.

Brian was very responsive to my requests from the first call to final payment. I had some concerns regarding the grading of the asphalt and water drainage. Brian understood exactly what needed to be done. He provided me three options which I requested, depending on how much parking area I decided to pave. Brian said the project would take a full day and he could have the project done within a week, depending on the weather. The day scheduled for paving, the weather was calling for rain. Brian called me as the date approached and advised whether the project could move forward on the scheduled date or if we needed to reschedule. Brian and his crew arrived on time and got right to work. They were very friendly. Brian answered all my questions as the project progressed. The job went just as planned and right on the estimate. I have already recommended Brian and Absolute Asphalt to my neighbors who have enquired about the driveway. I could not have been more pleased with this experience.

They did a great job. Very easy to deal with. Got it done right a way. The estimate was lower than the other two I got. The quality is great. Would definitely use them again as well as recommend them to others.

My husband really wanted the whole thing re-done, but Brian said that wasn't necessary. But he quoted us for both. I took Brian's word, and he and his crew were most punctual and most efficient in the work they performed. The quote included remove grass and weedkill, resurface with 2" of asphalt, compact with roller. Brian Rodill had a whole team show up at 8 a.m. and they were done by 11. He advised me for future maintenance and we will take him up on that. The only B ranking I give is that I'm glad they cleared the driveway as they did. However, we have some concrete brick edgers that could have been moved for the job. The asphalt laid is now up against the brick edgers. Not sure I like that look, but I'm ok with the job. I'm happy to see a flat surface in our driveway and I'd use him again.

This company is great. They show up on time for estimate, give a great deal and ensure that my driveway is sealed and repaired in a timely manner. Sealing the driveway only takes approximately two hours to complete and the consumer should know whether the oil base or water base product is right for the job as both are the same pricce. Brian recommended oil base for my driveway and it's holding up very well. I am very pleased with the product the servie and the company.
