They got back with me very quickly, which was nice. The service person who came to clean the gutters was prompt and pleasant. He did a very complete job. I was very happy. Also included in my package was $100 off gutter replacements and I spoke with the service person about this and was told I would receive a call back to discuss the gutter replacement and an estimate of cost. So far no call back. A good news and bad news sort of situation. The service of the gutter cleaning was awesome but the follow up on the next part of the replacement has not happened ... yet.

Contractor was very prompt and courteous. Service was performed as described in the Angie's List "Big Deal" promotion. However, roofers had to be reminded after they said they were through to perform the service on roof areas other than the main roof such as the lower roof areas and utility room extension. A more thorough job should have been done without me having to remind them to check those areas. Other than that I was satisfied with their performance.

Originally had A-Plus Roofing come out and look at the roof. Made a review of the original work I had done, which was just to look at and suggest what to do with the roof. Mr. Kain's workers came out on Monday morning--and dumpster was left in the driveway at 7:45am, the materials were delivered at 8am and the roofers came at 8:30am. They worked diligently all day taking one short break for lunch. One part of the roof had shingles nailed over old shingles (previous roofer). Had a number of new sheets of plywood installed and the new roof installed. One worker cleaned up as they went and honestly, the yard was cleaner when they left than before they came. The work was done in one day--they left around 6pm. The roof is BEAUTIFUL--have had more than a couple of compliments from the neighbors and family. Would DEFINITELY recommend A Plus Roofing to anyone who needs a new roof. Mr. Kain was friendly, informative and fair. His price was good and he has excellent credentials.

Although there were some initial communications issues and difficulty getting the work scheduled, Mr Kain has gone the extra mile to get things taken care of make sure we were happy.

They arrived on time and did the job as promised. Furthermore, the roof came out very nicely, and I received a lot of good feedback on it.

It went great. Mr. Kane and all his employees are professional, efficient, courteous, and punctual. I am very pleased with their work.

Very well; they came out to do an estimate and some minor temporary fixing. Gave me a price for a new roof. Mr. Kain was very cordial and explained a lot of things about the roof to me which I did not know. Though I signed a contract, I have not had the new roof installed yet--the Thanksgiving holiday interfered. Will do another review once the work is performed. However, for what I had them come out to do, they did a GREAT job, and I would highly recommend they be considered when looking for a roofing contractor.

After doing an excellent job installing a gutter protection system on our new house in Henrico, Billy Kain of A-Plus Roofing asked if we would be interested in siding. We said, not on this house, but we were preparing the house we just moved out of for sale and would like if he would give us a bid. He came back with a bid that was reasonable; a product that has a lifetime guarantee, and pointed out the superior construction techniques he uses when putting up siding. He attaches wood strips to the side of the house with both nails and glue - this stuff is never coming off the house. He also adds a layer of foam to smooth any ripples in the side of the house so that the siding looks perfect. The product he uses comes in extra long 16-foot lengths so the number of "starts and stops" in a siding run is minimized. Sure, we could have gotten the job a bit cheaper, but it wouldn't have been the quality product or the quality job we received from A-Plus Roofing. In the case of our job, he discovered that the installer of our after-market windows had left gaps that rain water could get in to. He sealed and capped those gaps at no extra charge. I was very impressed that he did not use the extra work to jack up the price. We visited the house several times while the job was going on. He brought in a crew of about 3-4 workers who were all extremely polite. They even invited me to clime one of the ladders to take a look at how they were sealing the windows. Please take a look at the before and after photos of the house. It looks new. We couldn't be more delighted with the experience we had with Billy Kain and his company A-Plus Roofing. We plan on using him again next year to cap the woodwork on our new Henrico house.

We met Billy Kane of A-Plus Roofing / Kane Enterprises at a VA Home Show where he, along with dozens of other vendors, were showing gutter protection systems. Billy's product stood out from among the others.Unlike many other protection systems which used a swooping piece of metal, Billy's system uses a very rigid cast aluminum frame covered with surgical grade stainless steel screen. The problems with the swoop systems is that they can carry oak pollen tassels right into the gutter. They are also visible from street level and have low curb appeal - at least that's what various web sites say. Billy's gutter protection, being a screen, does not allow oak tassels into the gutter - and we have a dozen oak trees in our yard. He also pointed out that his gutter protection is invisible from the street. The superior construction, effectiveness, and appearance of his product sold me. Additionally, the gutter protectors are screwed down to the gutters which is very important. The previous owner had a gutter protection system installed that simply slid under the shingles and they had begun to fall off the house. I knew I wanted something that would not blow away in summer tropical storms. Billy came over to our house and showed us his gutter protection system and made an appointment for his crew to come over to install the system. We were pleased with the price because we have a three story home with sharply pitched roofs and a series of lower roofs as well. Billy's crew came when they said they would, were very polite, and cleaned up behind themselves. We were so pleased with the work of A-Plus Roofing / Kane Enterprises that we are having them install sidling on our other house that we are getting ready to sell.

This project worked out great from beginning to end.

They took good care of me. The quality of their work was excellent. I think I got what I paid for; I think I got a little more than what I paid for. Overall it has been a long time since I had a contractor; so the comparison is a little weak.

They were very professional in everything. They were able to give us a quote and like suggest other things for our property. They could also help us and added some things on to the project and they were able to accommodate that. We enjoyed working with them and they were very easy to work with. They brought in the dumpster and tore everything down and then cleaned it up and it was like that they had never been there.

Very professional. Did exactlywhat they said. They would do. No surprises.

This was our first roofing experience. We checked the company out online and asked the company for references from previous jobs. I talked to two previous customers (1 asphalt roof and 1 metal roof on residential homes) and both couldn't say enough good things about the company, their crews and the quality of their work. We are very satisfied and would definitely recommend them to others.
