Zeinoun Kitchen & Bath Renovation

I had my kitchen, dining room and family room recently renovated by Tony, owner of Zeinoun kitchen and bath renovation. I have been dreaming and saving for my new kitchen for years. It was quite a big project since I wanted to remove the wall between my kitchen and dining room, move the gas line and plumbing, close a small window, install hardwood floors on the whole main floor instead of wood, carpet and tiles, which we previously had. Tony listened to my ideas and requests and was able to perfectly execute my vision. The whole renovation project has been stress free as Tony took care of every permit, timely order of all materials ( all excellent quality), paid attention to every detail and was patient when I asked for small modifications. He made my dream kitchen come true. I strongly recommend his services and would definitely use again in the future for other projects

A few years ago I hired Zeinoun Kitchen & Bath to remodel the entire main level of my house (including the kitchen) and they did such an excellent job, I recently hired them to remodel my bathrooms. Both of these remodel projects involved removing walls, re-directing plumbing & electric, installing wall & floor tile, etc. What makes me continue to use Zeinoun with future projects is of course the beautiful end result but also the fantastic customer service. Tony is so responsive (quick to answer all my questions and assist with decisions during every step of the renovation). I highly recommend this company for all your house project needs.

This was our second project with Zeinoun Kitchen & Bath Renovation, and once again, Tony has done a fantastic job. He renovated our master bathroom from its dated mid-1980's look to a beautiful, streamlined appearance. From the start of planning to the selection of materials, realignment of less desirable features, and installation and finish of new flooring, cabinetry, and accessories, it has been a highly positive experience with a beautiful outcome. Tony cares deeply about the quality of his work, and the final product reflects that. We would gladly work with him again!

We have had the pleasure of working with Tony and Zeinoun Renovations to completely redesign and build both our kitchen and basement. Tony's superior knowledge, trustworthiness, and honesty helped to make the renovation process less stressful and his design recommendations have truly transformed our home. All went wonderfully and timely. The Company performed its obligations to the highest degree. We are very appreciative. We needed to remodel of the kitchen, master bathroom and wood floors on the remaining 2/3rds of our home, a colonial. Tony, the Company leader, was there everyday at 8:00 AM. He was committed, educated, realistic and a gentleman. The process took five weeks with construction starting two days after the contract was execution. As owners, we were amazed and pleased. Tony (and Company) was there every step of the way. If a subcontractor performed work inconsistent with "workmanlike fashion standard for the industry" (which routinely occurs despite best efforts), Tony corrected it timely. In addition, unanticipated work was timely addressed. For example, our electrical system required an update to pass inspection. (While we, as owners, anticipated this given the age of the home, no contractor could quantify until work was effectuated, the true nature of the beast. Again, our house was built in 1976.) A dishonest contractor would have "glossed over" the remedy, but Tony's remedy was a change order. He had the resources to complete the change without delay and at very reasonable price. We searched other construction opportunities and this Company's services are highly recommended.

We wanted a smaller company with top quality work where the owner would be directly involved from design through construction. This is exactly what Tony Zeinoun provides, so we quickly knew we were in good hands. Tony is not only a Class A contractor, but he also demonstrated complete trustworthiness, made sure each day that we were happy with the progress, and patiently addressed our questions and concerns. Throughout the project, he showed good humor and perseverance and always ensured high quality workmanship. We love our new kitchen - it's even lovelier than we imagined it would be. We appreciate how fortunate we were to engage Tony, and we look forward to working with him on future projects.

Tony expertly handled our entire kitchen renovation, which included virtually every aspect of a renovation (demolition, electric, plumbing, gas, installing appliances, building a breakfast bar, cabinets, floors, countertop, paint, etc). My wife and I originally contracted with a larger company who misled us a number of times so we ultimately had to leave them. Tony was a welcome relief. He respected our wishes and quickly completed the renovation. Time was of the essence as we were expecting our first child and were approaching the due date because we had been pushed back by the previous contractor for so long. I could go on, but a few specifics that stood out: - We have an old house that is not very level, but Tony worked diligently to make sure our cabinets were level even in the face of our uneven floors and ceiling. - In the demolition, we encountered an unexpected leaky pipe to the bathroom, and Tony quickly agreed to repair the pipe for a reasonable cost and recut the cabinets to accommodate for the pipe. - We live in Alexandria, a city with a thorough permitting process, and Tony worked with us to ensure everything was up to code and inspection ready. Finally, Tony was a complete professional. He was always responsive whether it was phone or email, and he communicated directly and honestly. He respected that this was our kitchen so he did not stop until my wife and I were satisfied with his work. He was also kind and my wife and I both felt comfortable with him in our home. He did his best to make sure the work didn't interfere with the rest of our home (no easy task for a home of our size). Ultimately, I have already recommended Tony to a few friends and coworkers, and I am happy to recommend him to all of you.

Tony was professional and courteous. He was very involved in every step of the process and made sure we found exactly what we wanted and needed. He was present every day. We were expecting a baby and he managed to finish the job in time! The storage space is impressive, and the office looks very nice. We highly recommend him and we would absolutely hire him again in the future.

Tony was very professional and completed the project on time and pretty much on budget. He was also flexible to add/modify some things per our requests. We have gotten several estimates for the full kitchen renovation and Tony's was about mid-pack, but his timeline was extremely aggressive, which was very important to us (it was at least half of all the others). What was even more impressive is that he has completed the project pretty much within the timeline promised. The quality was also top notch. We are very happy with the end result. He seemed to be respectful to our house and there was much less dust than we expected. Definitely recommend Zeinoun Renovation and we are already in the planning stages of our next project (bathroom renovation) with Tony.

My wife and I considered many contractors for our kitchen renovation and ended up selecting Tony, a Class A contractor. So glad we did that! Tony is a man of integrity and we were able to trust him all along the way. There was also excellent communication between us from the design stage to completion. Tony did many of the work himself (e.g. design, plumbing, electricity, etc.) and he closely supervised the work (e.g. painting, flooring) that were contracted out. He was there with us at the quartz showroom (numerous times) to select our quartz countertop and backsplash. For ordering new appliances, Tony also saved us money by referring us to the companies he works with. I was also impressed that he was able to accommodate our out of the norm, but code compliant electrical and plumbing work that we wanted. Our project was delayed slightly and it was mainly due to my last minute change/revision to our design and selection of materials. We will certainly hire Tony again for our next project. Thanks Tony! Tony did a great job. He was on the site every day from start to finish either doing some of the work himself or supervising the contracted workers. He is very easy to contact via phone or email and always showed up when promised. I would recommend him to friends and family without reservations.

Reasonably well. Encountered some price creep. Encountered some unexpected delays. Had problem with one toilet after the job was done, which the plumber blamed on the toilet. It was not a problem with the toilet. Had problems with leaks after the job was done, which were repaired by contractor. Had problem with overflow, which caused another leak. Contractor repaired.

Very well, had a small hiccup with a newly installed bathtub leak, that was repaired immediately. All bathrooms look beautiful and it is a delight to work with Tony, a true professional that know what he is doing, always on site handling things himself.

We wanted to go with Ikea cabinets and initially was assigned a class C contractor. We were worried that the required plumbing re-route and concerned they couldn’t get the necessary permits. Tony came out the same day to assess the kitchen and give us a quote. We already had a quote from a class C contractor assigned to and Tony came pretty close to their estimate. We contracted Tony to do the cabinet installation, countertops, plumbing re-route, re-framing of a wall, re-routing and installing new electrical outlets, and installation of recessed and cabinet lighting. Tony gave us an estimated date about a month and a half out and was here taking down our wall and old cabinets within a few days of that promised date. He took care of all the permits and was able to pass electrical and plumbing inspections after a couple changes. Tony did the installation, and electrical himself. He contracted the plumbing and drywall out. All of the work done met the contracted agreement. We were going to do backsplash and flooring ourselves, so some things were left unfinished, but we agreed to that. I’ll try and post pictures of the finished kitchen when we do the flooring, paint, and tile. During the installation, we ran into some issues with not liking the lighting Tony picked out for the cabinets, he removed the previously installed lighting and re-installed the new lighting we picked out. We had an issue too with the new garbage disposal’s noise. He replaced it with our older, quieter disposal and agreed to refund us for the cost of the new one. Other minor challenges that came up we discussed and came up with solutions we both agreed to. Throughout the whole remodel, Tony was readily available and thoughtful. If you needed to ask him about anything he was immediately available to talk. The issues that we ran into, were mainly our problems, being new to the whole contracting process. Since Tony was coming in to a partially designed Ikea project, with 3rd party appliances, there were some challenges of co-ordination. I don’t think you’d run into our issues if you had Tony do the whole design from start to finish. If this is your first remodel, if you want to pick finishes or co-ordinate installation of things outside the contract, be clear about it with Tony up front about what you want. Be specific about each piece of the re-model and make sure each of those pieces is itemized on the final contract. Also, as with any contractor, ask about possible overages on the project. We ran into issues with our previous electrical not being up to code. This was an extra charge for Tony, because of the extra days’ worth of labor, which we offered to pay. Tony did a great job of general contractor for the work in our house. He controlled the ordering of materials, scheduling of subcontractors, procurement of county permits, scheduling of inspections, and monitoring of all the work. He was present every day in our house. Tony does much of the work himself and keeps the owners involved every step of the way. He makes sure the work is satisfactory, even if it means redoing it. He has a good sense of design and made helpful suggestions. He is cost conscious, and will work with the client to maximize the use of budgeted dollars. Tony is the only contractor I know that I would trust to be in my home without my presence. I won't hesitate to call Tony again for future home improvement projects.

All went as expected. Tony was on sight all the time, he worked with us when we had minor alterations to the original plans and his attention to details was greatly appreciated. He had no problem with me being on sight most the time observing his craftsmanship. My overall experience with both projects were beyond my expectation. He did an outstanding job not only in his workmanship but meeting his deadline. I would recommend Zeinoun K/B for future work and to individuals who want a reliable contractor for work projects.

My husband and I hired Tony to finish several household projects a month before welcoming our first child. Understandably it was a very stressful time for us and much of his work was completed under the gun so to speak. We couldn't have been happier with the results and Mr. Zeinoun's professionalism and exceptional work ethic. I can't say it was always easy and we did run into to a few hiccups associated with owning an older home but we really felt that he championed through any obstacles and schedule conflicts to ensure we had the exact results we desired within our short time frame. He was willing to work on his off days and handle all the communication with any subcontractors. Additionally, he had continual communications with both myself and husband (as we were often going in different directions and tackling things independently and simultaneously). Most importantly, he has a superior quality of work, an established business and client base. He was merely exploring advertisement to Angie's list customer as a new business venture to further expand his clientele base and work to include smaller scale projects that he could take on in his spare time between his much larger renovations. This venture was definitely our gain as we got a much more seasoned and experienced contractor than I imagine typically occurs and will definitely keep him in mind for our future jobs. He's also available to adjust or tweak work as needed (such as our entertainment built-in which was built off-site and had to dry and be reset after installation); and will later expand on work to incorporate new items as designs and additional capital are available. My husband both adore Tony and highly recommend him to anyone willing to put the money to really customize their home. Thanks again Tony and best of luck in this new endeavor!

Tony completed the project timely and close to his proposal. Prompt and clear communication throughout the project from the first meeting. Performed professional work and made steady progress along the way without me worrying too much or supervising. Cleaned up well after each task. It has been my pleasure working with Tony.
