Description of Work: These guys are cheats and I am not sure why my warranty company would send someone like them. They would find ways to charge you extra, on top of what they would to an insurance company. Their customer service is poor and phones are usually picked by a woman who don't know much English so you can't really explain her the problem. Once you hire them and give money, then expect them to show up at your house 2 weeks later. They were impossible to pin down to make an actual service appointment, instead saying they would call me later in the night or the next day, which they never do. They never show up on time either--at least 2 hours after the time frame we'd scheduled. It was pathetic service and I will never, ever, ever use their services again.

+ -1 moreI thought they did really well. Unfortunately, one thing did strike out. Immediately following that service, the main air conditioning unit did not cool adequately. I called them about that since they serviced it that very day. They said that they were just servicing it since they had performed the seasonal service and found that it was in working condition. I have a warranty company. When the warranty company sent somebody out to repair it, it was found to be $3 low on coolant. Prime Service is the one who had purged and refilled the coolant couple of months previously. It costed me extra money for repair that I can't prove. The warranty company said that it could have been a leak. It really irritated me that they charged me $250 for seasonal maintenance, but it didn't include checking of the coolant level. However, they did an excellent work when I had them work on our system previously. Their technicians who had been to the house had been excellent. In this case, I was irritated, because I had to spend extra money to have somebody come out and refill the coolant. Prime Service Inc. had just done the maintenance and they are the one who had installed the coolant.
Description of Work: I used the services of Prime Service Inc. couple of times. The most recent service was around April 11th 2011. They did the annual or seasonal maintenance for two age HVAC systems.

Not only did they quickly discover the source of our problem, but they also thoroughly checked the entire system and my house for any possible carbon monoxide leaks(we had been suffering from headaches and nausea due to terrible burning fumes coming from the heating system...which turned out to be a melted pan inside the system.) After identifying the problem they kept us informed of the part order status and were on time every time they came. Prime Service personnel instilled confidence where the previous company definitely did not. I will definitely be calling them again when it is time to do regular maintenance on our HVAC systems. I would definitely recommend them!
Description of Work: My home warranty company brought Prime Service in to troubleshoot our heating system after another company could not find the problem after a full month of non-stop problems and 5 separate service calls. They replaced a pan under the condensing unit, which included purging and replacing the coolant in the system. We also had them inspect our ducts.
