Charlie was very personable and did a great job of communicating the various options for the deck design and material. He was very good at listening to my questions, and took the time to thoroughly explain the answers. He coordinated all the inspections. He did much of the work himself, and his crew was also very professional. I'm very happy with the result.

Charlie spent a lot of time discussing with us the materials and design of the deck. He had lots of photos to show us of his work. He gave good, practical advice about which premium materials were worth the money and where less expensive materials could be used. He was knowledgeable about the newer materials as well as the pros/cons of newer and more traditional materials. He designed a really nice deck based on our selection of materials and budget. Rather than a regular rectangular deck, he designed something with a lot more visual interest and flair. His price was great compared to other companies we looked at. The construction went well. The only hitch was that they had to dig further down to find rock than expected, and as a result, there was a change in price. The deck was made with a newer Trex material. The electrician installed LED lighting on the stairs and outlets on the deck and below the deck. The deck passed inspection easily.
