After doing our homework, getting multiple bids, and evaluating the knowledge & professionalism of local companies (and not so local folks that come here to make a profit) we went with A-Pak for our driveway asphalt paving. To us, the choice was very easy. A-Pak was very responsive, on-time, and highlighted areas about our driveway that we were missing in plain sight. Their explanation was logical, clear, and straight to the point, even that I (an average homeowner) could comprehend. The more we researched, the more the choice was clear. These guys are local, real, employed local folks, and have the warranty and after sales support that one would come to expect. They are flexible in their payment method and not cash/check only place that vanishes the minute the work is done with all risk left to the customer. They walked me through what to look for and how to evaluate a good job that lasts versus a superficial topical job that will collapse in no time. The work itself was very timely, professional and spot on. Everything looks great and the compliments are already flowing in. Oh, how about the price? I don't know how they do it, but it was extremely competitive and fair. So fair, that we were able to do a more extensive job than originally planned. This is an awesome family owned, small business. You donâ  t find many like this in NOVA. Very professional paving job! They do not skimp on materials, their equipment is specifically geared for driveways and small paving operations and Neal has been laying asphalt for most of his life. These people do it right and are very accommodating to you individual needs. I very highly recommend them!!

Multiple concerns: I was given a quote by Rebecca to pave my driveway for $6,500. On the day of the job, I was told by her husband that she had made a mistake and that it would be $9,500. I was taken aback but agreed. I had gotten several estimates before signing the agreement and knew that I would only save a few hundred dollars by going with another company so thought that since these folks were already here, I would pay the difference to just get it done. MY MISTAKE. I followed the asphalt care directions to the letter. No cars on the newly paved driveway for over a week. No sealant for 6 - 12 months (actually had driveway sealed at 8 months). Six months after the paving I noticed that certain areas in the center of the driveway were beginning to crumble and *pit*. I reached out to Rebecca, and her brother came out to see what I was speaking about. The gist of the conversation with both Rebeccas brother and Rebecca was that if I had the driveway sealed, all would be fine. That the disintegration of the driveway was caused by turning the wheels on the driveway. Am I the only person who thinks this completely illogical? Rebecca did offer to *skim* out the area of concern, but since she would say that the driveway would look great after the sealant was applied, I deferred. ANOTHER MISTAKE. The driveway has been sealed and it looks terrible!!! I am very disappointed.

A-Pak Paving are communicative and honest about their work. Probably the fairest pricing around. I did a few quotes and chose them over everyone because of the quality work they showed me on their website and testimonials. Rebecca and Neal (owners) are fantastic to work with and 100% I would use them again. They did a beautiful job with the expansion of my driveway and I am forever grateful for their quality of work. 10/10, will use again!

From the estimate on, this company is impressive. They are enthusiastic, cheerful even laying asphalt on a 90 degree day, proud of their work, offered helpful design advice. They arrived at 9 am on the appointed day, did a beautiful job, cleaned up perfectly and were done by 6 pm. The estimate had said to allow two or more days! I can't say enough good things about A-Pak!

Total Professionals, Great crew, after they were done the area was clean and no debris anywhere. Highly recommend them to do your driveway. Estimate was on the numbers, the amount of gravel and asphalt was exactly as promised. The crew worked until it was done and done right.

Your team is wonderful -- hardworking , skilled, and  very customer oriented.  They arrived at 8:30 AM (as promised) and were done with the full driveway by 2PM.  Attention to detail and finished product are outstanding.  regarded area in front of mailbox to blend with side of driveway. Others are saying the company is pricy, but their estimates were in line with others I got for my project. They showed up early, got the work done fast, did it well, and didn't leave a big mess behind. I'm delighted to have found them! Would highly recommend them to others.
