I am forever grateful that this company was able to send someone to fix my AC the same day I called to schedule, as I had been waiting a week for my home warranty company to send someone. They were extremely prompt and efficient. The job was done in a timely manner and the technician informed me of what needed to be done every step of the way. I would definitely use them again!

After contacting the Air Novations about my air conditioning problem they had a technician on site within an hour and a half. They determined that the AC unit needed to be replaced. They installed the new unit the next day. The technicians arrived on time and the job was completed without any issues. Definitely would use them again.

Although I had a service contract with another company, when my unit broke down, that company was going to take weeks to get around to the repair or replacement. Air Novations came out the same day I called (it was already hot then) and gave me a much more competitive quote and was able to install the new unit the next day. They definitely fit me in because they came late in the afternon (that was our appointment) and then stayed into the evening to finish the job. They were clearly much more interested than serving me than my old company. They were also honest and said that without some expensive duct work modifcations, getting a larger sized unit would not help with our upstairs being much warmer than the downstairs. Since then, they gave me a free inspection and tune-up of the furnace in the fall (note I did NOT buy a furnace) and aninspetion of the AC in the spring. My furnace is 20 years old so when that goes I am definitely calling Air Novation again.

The service man who attended the call was professional and on time. Provided servicing of my furnace and even fixed a minor issue which he could have easily charged me extra for. I was pleased with the service and will use them again if I need this type of service done again.

The service was outstanding. The unit was not working but after they left, it was working great. They explained exactly what they were doing and showed me the parts. He explained I could wait to replace the part, but it could be a potential problem.

It turned out good. I thought they did a really good job. The guy who came out was very knowledgeable. I felt comfortable so I would probably use them again. I think the pricing was fair.

We had an annoying noise coming from out AC unit. The Air Novations rep was very professional and identified the issue in no time (it was a candy wrapper).

They were okay but their punctuality was terrible. I scheduled it for a Thursday, they came on a Wednesday. I didn't really get to meet with the guy. My family was here and I was not. The work was good but the scheduling, they could have done better. The guy left his number and I will be able to call him afterwards if I wanted to. I would consider using them again, depending on the work.

The man on the phone was very polite and presented a good image for the company. However, the man who came was very unprofessional in dress and demeanor. The man on the phone told me he would be here at 2pm, but he did not arrive until after 3:30. When the technician arrived, he said there was no way that they could estimate when he would arrive to an appointment at a specific time due to not knowing how long the previous job would take. The first thing I asked him was to check and see if the thermostat and was working to the furnace. He never checked it before he left. If he would have checked the thermostat, he would have found that the wiring only needed fixed and an additional repair was not needed. I hired someone else for the work and the part Air Novations was going to replace for $975 was not even broken. The estimate was expensive for a part that I learned was not even broken.

Now find it was not compactable with the compressor and also the thermostat. Therefore both the compressor and new unit have to be replaced. They broke a drainage pipe, while caring up the stairs hit the wall and stained the rug. I found the ceiling water damaged about 10 days later about a 4'x6' stain. Also the failsafe plug had been cut so that it would not work. Now 2 1/2 years all has to be fix. I have since found they contract out most of their work.

Prompt and professional installation. Owner came personally to ensure proper installation. I will use them again.

Amazing! I called them on a Saturday evening at 6:32 pm. They (Shawn/Sean?) arrived and completed the work by 7:12 pm. Within that time frame, they inspected the attic HVAC and identified a clogged condensation drain as the cause of the leak. The repair was quickly made and then they inspected the unit to ensure it was working properly. Instead of stopping there, they also inspected our 2nd HVAC unit to ensure that it was working properly. All this on a Saturday evening within 45 minutes at a reasonable cost of $190. What more can you ask for ?!?!?! Responsive, fast, professional and reasonable. I would highly recommend them for any HVAC issues you may have.

Air Novations is an excellent company. They are responsive and professional. I highly recommend them to anyone who is in need of AC repair. I went upstairs at about 8:30 pm to put kids to bed. The upstairs was very hot. I assumed the AC unit had froze up. When I went outside to check the unit it was not froze up, but it was very hot and not running. I searched Angie's list and found Air Novations at at about 9:45pm to do an after hours call. What I really liked was that I was not forwarded to an answering service. They immediately took my call and arrived at my house in less than 25 minutes. Air Novations quickly diagnosed my AC unit and had to replace the capacitor. They had the part on hand and installed it in15 minutes. Another thing I liked was Air Novations asked if I would like the broken part and then showed me why it was defective. My air conditioning was up and running by 10:30pm. Air Novations did a great job. They were very honest and I certainly as previously stated highly recommend them for your AC needs. -Anthony

Honest.....Honest...Honest! Previous estimate was $ 800 higher (also on Angie's list)

The AC compressor unit is 7 years old. Blown the capacitor about 3 yrs ago. I think the severe weather (T-storm) caused a power surge. Last year was the relay. This yr is the cap again. I think T-storm cause the thing to overload as well as the heat since the unit was installed on the sunny side of the house. Allen was the tech and Ed the owner came out to deliver a part. I asked Allen to check the core just in case and he gladly did it. Then we found the cap was blown outside and replaced the cap. A kick starter cap was suggested to me, however I turn down the offer since I don't want to have good money chase after bad since the new cap seems to be able to start it after wired correctly (first try did not and some rewiring was needed). Ed also suggested the compressor may be drawing too much current and blown the cap. The compressor was always hard to start and have recoiling noise from day one. I could imagine that could very well be the case under a heavy load such as a surge in T-storm condition. I will turn off the HAC next time around when weather is approaching and also keep an eye on how long this cap will last. Ed did mentioned about installing a new compressor unit, even though I agree with him and the current unit is only builder graded. It will not be environmental friendly if I prematurely replace the unit since the old one has to go to some landfilled. My decision was to continue monitor and use it till it really died and then replace it was a very good one. All and all they are here before I got home and Allen waited and made some setup outside. I'll say they are good. You do however have to think about their recommendation and see if it agree with your own plan or not.

The technician quickly diagnoised the problme was with an electronic board. The board cost approximately $300. Due to the 8 year age of the unit, the technician had to obtain the part. The technician checked to see if the AC was still under warranty, it wasn't. The technician returned the next day and replaced the board. Prior to leaving, the technician checked the outside condenser had completely deteriorated. The technician gave me two options: new unit or do nothing, He did not attempt to sell me anything, but simply told me the advantages and disadvantages of each choice. I opted to replace the condenser. The technician arrived on time and installed the new condenser. I am very happy with his work and the installation.

I called AIr novation's because my heat stopped working. I was able to have Edwin the owner, schedule an appointment that day for a time that was convenient to me. I was impressed by this accommodation. I bought the $55.00 coupon for a service call on Angie's List. Edwin arrived at my house right on time. He first ran a functions check on my heating unit. Within ten minutes Edwin told me that there w as an obstruction in my flue pipe. We both went over to the end of my heating unit's flue pipe and sure enough there was a wasp nest inside the PVC pipe. The nest must have been made in the pipe and then with age and the storm, fallen and blocked the air flow of my heating unit. Once he removed the nest and he reset the unit the heater came to life and started working. Edwin made sure that the unit was operating properly and he said that the nest was the issue of my heater not working. What really impressed me was that he only charged me for a service call, which I only spent $55.00 on since I bought the coupon. I have since kept AIr novation's phone number in my records for the next time I have an issue with my heating or cooling unit. I couldn't be happier with my experience!

My tenant house lost its a/c, and I called Air Novations based on a recommendation by my daughter. The service coordinator with whom I spoke on the phone arranged for a technician to come the same day. He arrived on time and was very professional. I especially appreciated how knowledgeable he was and how well he communicated with me. He explained what concerns we may be facing in the future, but didn't push me to make any repairs other than those immediately necessary. I really appreciated the professionalism and integrity that I experienced from this company!

The technician arrived on time. He went to the furnace to help speed up the thawing of our unit. He took each external unit apart and cleaned them. He checked for leaks. At each step, he explained what he was doing and why. He refilled both of our units and recommended that we at least fix the leak around the seal. He also explained the charges for all the options we had. Overall, he was extremely professional, thorough, and easy to work with. The best part is that I called 5 minutes before they closed the evening before, and they arrived on time the next morning.
