Paul is a true craftsman. Project was install a second stair rail in my 110 year old Victorian home. Results are perfect. Match to opposite rail was exact. I could not ask for a better result. Thank you Paul!

The contractor put stains on my stairs, he was not responsive to my requests to fix spindles that were installed facing the wrong direction and the base on 3 spindles were loose. He was very sarcastic and argumentative through the whole process. He finally fixed all the items aforementioned except the stains on my steps because I was tired of dealing with him I decidednto deal with the stains myself.

Hasnt been installed yet but very thorough in walking through the steps and pricing.

Paul, from Precision Interior Stair and Rail, did a tremendous job giving our outdated and creaky staircase a face lift. He replaced all the visible parts of our staircase, including the stringers, treads, risers, railings, balusters, and newel post. Since our house is 70 years old, nothing is easy. Paul worked diligently to cut everything to size and took extra care to patch our difficult plaster walls. Since I like doing some of the work myself, I personally appreciated that Paul was flexible and let me paint and finish the stairs as a way to get involved and save some money. Paul completed the job on time and was very responsive, particularly over text message. I could not be happier with Paul's work, especially considering the level of precision and expertise this job required. He was so easy and low-maintenance to work with and delivered a great outcome. Originally, was going to be here around 9:30 AM, but was kept informed of the number of stops and the estimated actually arrival time. Thought this was good customer service so that I wasn't wondering where they were. The quality of work so far appears to be excellent, but is still drying so a 4.5 on quality was given.

I wish this has reasonably a timely call back system.

Which was just outstanding! Our job consisted of removing the half walls on two levels and a loft area then installing the railing and iron balusters in its place. It was a total transformation and turned out stunning. People literally gasped when I showed them the before and after pics! Everyone just raves about how beautiful it looks. Thank you Paul... Paul provided the best price for our project of installing oak rails and white ballusters on our existing stairs. He provided great advice on our choice of materials in order to get a finished and symmetrical look. He communicated with us regularly before and during the project, even alerting us to a late arrival due to traffic. The finished job was professionally done with attention to the finish and fit details. I would strongly recommend Paul.

He took out the old stairs and replaced them with new and surrounded it with wall board. It looks great. He even made a great suggestion to add outlets prior to installing the wall board.

Paul did a great job and listened to my concerns. After installing the new railings he and his assistant cleaned the area. Very excellent service.

Paul did an exceptional job with my stair remodel job. My stairs were very complicated because of the angular turns and pie shaped platforms. His craftsmanship and quality of work were excellent. He did exactly what he said he would do. He kept the area clean , put down drop cloth, and put up cloth barriers to keep the dust down throughout the rest of the house. I highly recommend him for custom stair work. He is a top rate professional.

I hired Precision Interior Rails to replace 4 very outdated railing sets throughout my home. Paul (Owner) spent 1 day putting them all in and he did a fantastic job. We did get a number of quotes before picking Paul's company. We went with him because he was BY FAR the most knowledgable on putting in the railings (that's all he does), his quote was very reasonable (and the least expensive of the three) plus he was very professional and a true Craftsman! Also, he's an honest and caring guy; while working on our rails, he noticed that one of our steps had a dangerous piece of wood attached to it. He asked me if he could fixed that issue because he said someone could easily trip on it. He went out to his van and came back in with the properly cut wood piece and put it in...no extra charge. He said he is often hired by homeowners to fix the poorly done railing jobs completed by other contractors. You will be pleased with the work he does, no installation detail is overlooked and the railings look amazing!

Paul does terrific work. He is prompt, and most important to me, he does what he says he'll do. We contracted with Paul to replace old wood banister and balusters with new wood banister and wrought iron balusters. He did excellent work and cleaned up after he finished. Although the job was small, he treated us as if it was a large job. We highly recommend Paul and his company Precision Interior Stairs and Rail, LLC.

Excellent services and value. The difficulty was we were replacing the existing out of code stairs with stairs in code on a split-level home. All other carpenters told us the bottom stairs would have to extend past the wall on the bottom floor, which would create a tripping hazard. Paul looked at the work, then recommended a way to repair the stairs without making it noticeable or extending past the bottom wall. The advantage of Paul was he saw the problem and immediately knew how to correctly fix it, and it looks perfect. Without his insight, we would have been stuck with something that didn't look go and making me mad we even had it done. Plus the wife threw in those little extras as she does and Paul handled them without delay. My mistake was not having him also do the landing, but now I definitely know who to call for this job. If you want the job done right and leave behind a high quality finished product, he's who you should call. Oh, and the installation was very difficult due to our schedules, but Paul worked around us, got all the information he needed and installed the stairs within 1-day. Now, I look forward to going up and down the stairs, plus, it really added value to our home!!!

Paul did an outstanding job in our home. He provided us more options of finishes and final design than any other contractor we requested quotes from. He was able to meet our budget and exceed our expectations. Overall the quality of his work is outstanding and he was able to complete the job in just days. He replaced our outdated and out of code balusters and railing with a beautiful wood and iron combination that turned out better than we imagined. I would highly recommend him and we are so glad that we found him to do such outstanding work.
