He only checked the breaker, which I told him was turned off when unit was not working at all. He proceeded to tell question how I knew if the unit had power to it and that a digital meter was junk and that the only way to check 220 volts is with a incandescent light bulb. He then informed me that if he pulled the unit (which this old man could not possibly physically do) that he would have to charge and this was not under warranty coverage. Someone please tell me how the heck you can check the unit if you don't pull it when all of the circuitry is located in the back top of the oven!!!! Stay away from this place!!! This idiot would rather make money from sitting on his butt rather than actually do the work that he is there to do!!! And btw he did sit on his butt for an hour and did nothing.
Description of Work: Absolutely nothing. Came for warranty work but sat on his old butt and did absolutely nothing for an hour.

Kunz came out and told me that a part had to be ordered and that it might take 10 - 14 days to get the part in. I called back after 10 days to get a status on the part. The person that I talked to said that she would have the technician return my call. Nobody called me back, even after my wife and I called a total of 3 times. Each time we called, we spoke to someone, we didn't just leave a voice mail. After 28 days they came back out with the part, but it was the wrong part so they ordered another part. After another two weeks without hearing anything I called the Appliance Store where I purchased the dishwasher. They connected me with their Extended warranty service program. As it turns out th part had shipped on Jan 3. They called Kunz Appliance who confirmed that the part had been delivered. After two more weeks, we still had not heard from Kunz, not even to tell me that they had the part but were too buzy (which would have been unacceptable after this long period). So all in all, we have been without a dishwasher for two MONTHS! Any professional and respectable service center would never have let it go that long.
Description of Work: This company came out to service my dishwasher, which was on an extended warranty plan. They were the only company that was listed as a participating service center for the electrolux dishwasher. So I didn't really have a choice. The technician came out, diagnosed the problem, ordered the part. The first part was wrong, so they ordered another part, which was shipped to them. But they just never came out to replace the second part. I never paid them.

Kunz removed the total unit from the home to his shop even though the owners manual specifically stated: This unit is designed to be serviced in the home. After keeping the unit for about a week, Kunz returned the unit to my home and reinstalled it. The microwave failed within a week with the same problem. When contacted, Kunz stated he would have to remove the unit to his shop again to determine what the problem was and made no mention of any warranty. I called another appliance repair service who determined what the problems were and repaired the unit in my home. They determined the unit had suffered some damage from the removal and reassembly of the unit by Kunz. More importantly, the major part, the magnetron installed by Kunz was not the manufacturer's specified part and appeared to have been previously used. This appliance company repaired the damage caused by Kunz and replaced the magnetron with the correct part. Kunz was contacted and asked for a refund for the incorrect part from his supplier. He refused.
Description of Work: Repaired the microwave unit of a built-in oven/microwave unit.
