 + -1 moreThe crew did a great job. The beds and new planting area are beautiful. The owner (Preston) made sure everything was completed as planned. The workers picked up after themselves. Looking forward to having Ground Effects back next Spring to fix the planting beds on the side of the house.
Description of Work: Removed over grown bushes in front if house, built planting area and replanted new shrubs that will not grow so tall

Description of Work: Preston, the owner, is very easy to work with. He regularly checks over the work of his crew and is understanding and helpful with design and suggestions. The work is lovely. He covered a concrete patio, sidewalk in back of my house and built a step and landing to enable my disabled husband to get up into the back garden easily. I plan to use his services again - as soon as HE has time!

 + -1 moreThey started our project with excavation work to dig out the area. They prepared the area with rock and compaction for the pavers to be installed. They then laid the pavers and again compacted the paver area. They put back the necessary soil and seed to leave my yard looking the best possible way before finishing the project. The company was very knowledgable and professional. They went the extra mile to clean up all jobsite debris daily before leaving. We were pleased with the work and even years later the project looks great!
Description of Work: The company put in two concrete paver sidewalks. They also layed some natural stone tile for a landing area.

 + 2 moreThe Ground Effects team was responsive to my wishes and worked with me to create a landscape that satisfied my needs for low-maintenance, functionality and beauty; The company made sensible and cost-efficient proposals to correct drainage and grading problems; The supervisory folk made alternative proposals as they worked to overcome problems and were cost-conscious. The entire team of about 5-6 came to work punctually and were very pleasant to work with. The team took away debris and cleaned up. The company invited me to call any time with any problems or advice needed. I recommend Ground Effects without hesitation for the entire package of work performed.
Description of Work: Ground Effects provided detailed estimates for my 5,000 sf. yard including enhanced drainage and grading at back, landscaping entire lot, selection of shrubs and trees planted in enhanced soil, relocation of some existing shrubs, minor terracing and paving, construction of 6ft x 6ft raised bed for vegetables/herbs, existing lawn aeration, and list of plants with care information. I had received half a dozen estimates over nearly 18 months and Ground Effects impressed me most with their comprehensive proposals that were competitive with other estimates that provided far less thorough basic groundwork, or much more costly plantings and hardscape.
