Description of Work: We recently purchased the home, which came with a home warranty, so when the AC wasn't working the warranty firm had us use this company that they contract with, rather than the one that installed and has serviced it over the years. We had the installing company in to work on another problem that wasn't covered by the warranty, and I had asked that person about the AC. He diagnosed the problem, but the warranty wouldn't let us use them. | |When Climate Control came in, they diagnosed something entirely different, and were able to get it working. He could see how the other diagnosis could have been made, but he also saw where the error was made in it. I was a little annoyed that the worker put their sticker with phone number over the original company's sticker on the unit, rather than beside it. Just seemed unnecessary, even under the circumstances.

Description of Work: My central air suddenly stopped working. The compressor outside of the house seemed to still be working, but the air handler was no longer blowing. I called at 8 am on a Monday and was told that someone would be there between 10 and 12. A service man arrived at 10, diagnosed and corrected the problem in 30 minutes. (A switch on the air handler had burned out and he replaced it.) He had forgotten a tool in my attic, so he called, and returned at noon. I asked him to take another look since he was there anyway, and he seemed happy to do so. He thought everything was working properly, but the house had not cooled much because it was so hot outside and it had gotten so hot inside as well. By the end of the day it was clear that the AC was working properly, and it continued to keep the house very cool since. This is the third time I have used this company during the past 4 years and I have been similarly happy every time.
