I purchased a large shed on their lot about one month ago and asked that it not be delivered until a later date, I am having a house built and needed grading and room for other large pieces of equipment. I paid for the shed in full and was given certain upgrades that were on sale at the time. These were deducted from the price of the shed if the upgrades were already on the built shed. Byler Barns was kind enough to hold onto the shed until this last Friday when we negotiated a delivery date. They arrived on time and set the shed in place perfectly, leveled it and on their way they went. Overall a very smooth and painless process from purchase until installation. Bo, the salesman was very professional as was all the crew that delivered the shed. All in all I would recommend them. I will update this review in about 9 months to let you all know how the quality of manufacturing of the shed has held up over time.

They came out and did the work, and it was done up to our expectation, but the issue I have with them involves the cost and the way they handled themselves. The quoted price was very fair, but the problem was that we feel they charged us more than than they had quoted us. We were given a balance up front, then made a couple payments on it. We then decided to pay off the rest of the balance, but we were given a few different numbers on what the payoff would be, with it getting higher each time. The entire cost of the project was around $3900.00, and we feel they charged us more than $200 more than what they said they would. They could give no explanation on why it was higher than quoted, only saying that this is the amount due and that is the way it is. We feel they did something wrong, at the very least, did not go over the fine print of the transaction. I would recommend against using this company, but would say if you do, make sure you go over all of the fine print and get a written cost sheet up front.

Doug was very responsive to our needs. He was helpful in choosing a design that not only was functional but looks awesome. We went with a 14'x 30' Install crew was great. Friendly professional and we the extra mile to ensure we were happy.

We selected the style, options, and shed size (8x12 ft) we wanted and put down a deposit. They then built the shed to our specifications and arranged for delivery and installation. It took about 3 or 4 weeks to complete. We liked that they offered a stained wood shed that has a more natural look (we didn't want one with vinyl siding). They had a lot of different options to pick from (you could have it painted, different types/colors of roofing, etc.). The delivery was on time. It was completed by one delivery guy who managed to use only his truck and a jack to perfectly place the shed in a corner of our fenced yard. He also leveled the shed with cinder blocks. The special that month was a free ramp, but it hadn't made it onto the delivery truck. He phoned the office, realized that the ramp was mistakenly not included, and brought it by the next day. Delivery and installation was perfect and we have so much storage now! Everyone we worked with at Byler's was helpful and courteous. We like that they are a local, family-run business!
