Description of Work: My first experience with American PHC was very good. I had a malfunctioning gas log. The pilot light would not stay lite. I called the company from which I purchased the gas log and they referred me to American PHC. Steve, one of the owners, came to my home the same day I called the company. He was professional, courteous, a really nice guy. Did the job quickly and charged me somewhere in the neighborhood of $70. Next, I called American PHC for a bathroom leak. I made an appointment for a few days hence. I went home during the my work day and waited - and waited. After 1 1/2 hours, I called the company. Steve had forgotten that he was coming to my house so had no called to let me know he would be delayed. After another 30 minutes, he was on site. Unfortunately, he had hurt his back and could not do the lifting required to do the job. He did, though, look to see what I needed and assured me he would be back, with help, to do the work in two working days. So we made another appointment. When the appointment time came, two gentlement that I had never seen showed up at my house. Steve had not talked with them about the work that needed to be done. I still haven't firgured our why he would have taken more of my time to look around at the problems if he wasn't going to transmit the information to the people he sent to do the job. The first thing they said to me was, "we're not sure we have the needed parts to do the job." Well, apparently they did, but their work left me with a leaky toilet that had never leaked before.

Description of Work: An examination of my heat pump revealed no problems. The problem was being caused by registers that had been closed off during the winter. This was causing the unit to freeze up when it was time for summer cooling. A fan control unit was installed to help prevent future freeze up problems.
