About us

A native of Norfolk Virginia, Bill relocated to Smith Mountain Lake in 1985 after becoming enamored by the serenity of the lake and the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. A career entrepreneur, Bill retired in 2001 after a successful tenure as owner of the Roanoke branch of Restroom Sanitation Services. He began pursuing his passions, and his love for gardening and trees were at the top of his list. He was captivated by the complexity of trees and his thirst for knowledge led him to volunteer his time and train under an ISA certified arborist. Bill has chased storms and tornados into areas devastated by falling trees. His knowledge of trees coupled with his entrepreneurial spirit has led to the creation of Trez R Us, LLC. Trez R Us specializes in keeping trees healthy. We also properly prune trees, remove dead or dying trees from residential and commercial properties and are equipped to remove fallen trees in emergency situations. Bill is a member of the ISA, is involved in many other volunteer organizations and is a member of the Smith Mountain Lake Regional Chamber of Commerce.

NOT WELL, WAS TOLD IT WOULD TAKE 1-1/2 DAYS TO DO THE JOB. I WAS TOLD THAT YOU FOR THE FIRST DAY AND THEN THE 2ND IS PRO-RATED BY THE HOUR. IT TOOK THEM 3-1/2 DAYS TO DO THE JOB. THEN THEY TRIED TO COLLECT FOR 3-1/2 DAYS. I WAS QUOTED 5,100 FROM ANOTHER TREE SERVICE TO DO JOB. THAT INCLUDED GRINDING THE STUMPS. THEY TRIED TO CHARGE ME 7,200. AND THATS NOT INCLUDING THE STUMP GRINDING. I REFUSED TO PAY THE 7,200. AFTER TALKING WITH THE OWNERS WIFE I AGREED TO 5,500 I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TREZ R US TO ANYONE.
