The team did a great job very efficiently, and exhibited professional demeanor.

In April, we called Tree Surgeons, Inc to get an estimate for removal of two medium sized trees, one small tree, and pruning three trees. While they were here for the estimate, they were very professional, responsive to questions, and quickly wrote up an estimate that stated exactly what the job would entail. We are first-time homeowners, and we were very comfortable with them and with the estimate they provided. We were left with the feeling that they cared about their work and wanted to do a good job for us. When I called to make an appointment, they were working on a job, and said they'd call that afternoon to set a date for our job, which they did in a very timely manner. They showed up as scheduled and completed the job quickly. We were surprised by how little time it took. They removed all the tree debris from the pruning and removal, ground the stumps, and left our yard looking neat and tidy in the areas they worked. We are very pleased with the job they did and think they charged a fair price for their work. We have more trees that will need pruning, maintenance, or removal in the future, as we can afford it, and plan to use Tree Surgeons, Inc., for those jobs.

Tree Surgeon gave me an estimate. After meeting other companies and reviewing Angies List, I chose Tree Surgeons and called to set a date. The other prices quoted were all in the ballpark once Angies discount was included. They were at my house on time and had both trees fully down by the end of a single work day. The following day it rained so they skipped a day to complete the grinding and back filling with top soil. Please note that they called before the start of work on the rain day to let me know they would be there the next day at noon to complete the job. They were very professional. Interestingly enough, when I went to the gym the next day to work out, I discussed the job with some of the guys there. Tree Surgeons Unlimited, Inc. removed a very large Gum tree, removing the stump and the roots growing under a concrete driveway, that was very close to the house. Over a period of two days they took the tree down a limb at a time using a climber, while the next door neighbor cut up the limbs into logs for his fireplace. They removed all the tree and concrete debris and removed all tire tracks from the lawn. Superior service!

Lloyd and his crew did an excellent job! Can't even tell there was a tree at that location. He did an GREAT job of minimizing damage to my lawn and debris removal was complete. Very professional, courteous and knows his business!

We had a big wind that knocked down a tree on a Saturday. Lloyd was out of town but was to return on Sunday. He called me when he returned, came out on a Sunday and gave me an estimate and scheduled the work for later in the week. He told me if my son could haul away the wood to the community woods in the back of our neighborhood that we would save money for the job and he would come out and grind the stump. My son was able to work off a debt from money he had borrowed and Lloyd took care of the rest. He does great work, is prompt, courteous and knows what he is doing. I will be referring my friends and family to Tree Surgeons.

I personally used Tree Surgeons to evaluate an endangered tree on my property. Lloyd Jordan was forthright and honest in his evaluation. I appreciated his professionalism. Lloyd is a true professional in every sense.

Lloyd is great. Arrived on time, was courteous and professional. He is true arborist! Gave me lots of great ideas on the consultation regarding my legal rights regarding the neighbor's tree encroaching on my roof, and provided an estimate for the pruning of my own tree in the front yard with lots of sizable dead limbs, that when they fall could crush my compact in the driveway below! Unfortunately, I missed the Cirque Du Soleil that his staff put on, since I was away at work when they came several weeks later to do the work, BUT suffice it to say, they were SO professional and their equipment was so "state of the art" and the process of pruning gigantic limbs 60 ft up in the air so "breath-taking"-my neighbors reported back to me on it the next day. Darn, why couldn't I have been there to watch the entertainment!! All debris was hauled away-by the time I got home, you couldn't even tell that they'd been there, except for when you looked up to the sky, no more DEAD LIMBS about to fall on my head from high above in my grand ole oak tree!

This was a difficult tree job: we had three very large pine trees that had died, probably from pine bark beetles. One tree was very close to my storage shed; one tree was close enough to the house to hit it if it fell the wrong way AND it was close to a large oak tree we did not want damaged; and one tree was in between two forks of a large maple tree we did not want to lose. Lloyd Jordan and his crew climbed all three trees, pruning as they climbed, then felled each tree in sections. In each case the tree dropped exactly where they planned, without endangering the house, shed, or surrounding trees. At the end of the job, they cleared all of the fallen limbs, needles, etc., even to the extent of raking the areas of woods behind my house most impacted by their work. They then hauled off everything. Other than the stumps (cut almost to the ground), which we did not have them grind because the were in the woods, you would have had difficulty knowing they'd even been there! Lloyd and his crew are highly competent professionals: you can bet that they'll do things right!

We had a dead tree taken down. The work was done quickly and efficiently and everything was cleaned up when the tree was down.

Lloyd and his crew arrived on time, removed the damaged trees and ground the stumps. The ground was cleared and raked and he even cut the wood into chunks which we later split for firewood. Lloyd offered advice on the best type of replacement trees to plant and told me which nursery had the best selection and price. I was so pleased with the quality of their service that I have recommended them to my father-in-law, brother and several friends.

Lloyd Jordon and his company are absolutely amazing. They removed trees, ground the stumps and spread top soil and grass seed. When they were done my yard was cleaner than before they started. Lloyd and his team have not only all the expected tools nd equipment, but they have an 80 foot crane which is capable of lifting trees from the back yard, over the house and into their truck. Tree removal is serious business, the risk of property damage is huge. The smart shopper goes with the best, the best in tidewater is Lloyd Jordon and his team at Tree Surgeons.
