+ 0 moreHands down the best contractor we’ve ever had. Our porch was literally bouncing and chipping away. He was able to look at the deck and quote very quickly. He walked us through all of our options, gave us his recommendations with pros and cons of each option. He saved as much of our old deck as possible to save us money and rebuilt the entire thing in less than a week. He was kind, funny, professional and did really thorough work. He even gave us tips on how to maintain our porch. He did such an excellent job we have him rebuilding our deck now and plan on having him do a few other projects as well!

+ -1 moreOn Jun 14, 2017, Tim (Sir Fix It) removed old broken shelves in my bedroom closet, and replace them with genuine wooden shelves and braces. Excellent job--I now have two long shelves and heavy duty for the items I place in my closet. he also put a new rod for hanging clothes--much easier than those wire things. Outstanding. I love my "new" closet.

+ -1 moreI called Tim and explained I had a plumbing problem with repairing the commode "guts". Tim came in repaired and installed new plumbing equipment for the main bathroom commode). I told him about a door leaking every time it rained and that I was told by the company that installed the door I would have to put up an awning to eliminate the problem. Tim evaluated the situation and sealed the gaps around the storm door--no leaks anymore! Sir Fix It (Tim) does excellent work and I will call upon him again and again. He is the best "Handyman" ever!

+ -1 moreAll Projects were outstanding, beautiful, and gave me peace of mind. My home is so much improved because of the excellent work Tim has done.
Description of Work: In 2016 Sir Fix It (Tim) did several projects for me. Starting in January, he put two Pantries together and also made additional shelves for them--Excellent job. In February, Tim and company installed crown molding in all bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen--very professional and beautiful job. In May Tim replaced all outdoor lights, fixed the door bell and repaired an outdoor leak. Super job. In June Time replaced the faucet in the Kitchen--outstanding choice and superb job. In August I had a major back up of water standing and backing up into my AC unit. Time and Bob dug a deep hole--hitting clay until about 8 feet. They worked constantly until the work was done. Place a drain system in the "hole, filled with beautiful stones and a year later--I have had no problems. Tim's work is always done in a professional manner, he cleans up very well, and is reasonable in his rates. In October, Tim replaced posts on the front porch, repaired/replaced loose bricks on the porch and garage, replaced the gable vent over the garage and the outdoor light over the garage. In November, Tim and Bob replace all shutters in the front of the house. I cannot say excellent and professional toward the work Tim and company do for me enough. Sir Fix It is surely an outstanding business and I will continue to call on Tim for further projects.

+ -1 moreI called this business and left a message and he called me back the next day. I said hello and how are you and he said "I'm a little bit busy now but have a minute to give an estimate". Then I explained to him that I wanted 3 minor things done in my home, which was to hang a picture up in my bedroom, fix a dining room chair that has a loose leg on it ( I can't detect where the problem is coming from) and before I made it to the last repair, he HUNG UP on me !!!! I tried to call back twice and he did not pick up the phone. I guess my job wasn't good enough because it wasn't big and would not bring in a bigger price for him. I would never use a business like this that is not interested in helping out the customer first instead of being all about the money.

+ 0 moreTim (Sir fix It) is a professional! His work is superb! He and his partner installed crown molding in the kitchen, 3 bedrooms and both bathrooms. Tim also repaired some old crown molding in the kitchen. I have hired Tim many times to perform services inside my home and outside my home. When the work is completed--it is excellent. When the job is done, he always cleans up and replaces furniture, etc. back in its original position.

+ -1 moreExcellent! Cleans up well. Gives excellent advice on other projects. He has done work for us for about ten years. I would highly recommend Sir Fix It for any project! He has replaced two toilets, removed flooring and replace flooring in both bathrooms, replaced plumbing, build a double wooden gate, replaced two outside vents and many more tasks.
Description of Work: Assembled two pantries, changed electrical light switch and removed old non-functional smoke alarm.

+ -1 moreI called Sir Mr. Fix It, in March, about repairing rotten door jam and brick mould wood on two exterior doors and repaint. He called back a few days later and came for an estimate. Said he liked doing small jobs and I felt he would do a good work. The price was reasonable, so I decided to have him do the work. His schedule was full for the next 2 weeks and would call when he had an open day. When he called back it had been raining so we decided to wait. He called again several times, but between bad weather, his busy schedule, and my available time we couldn‘t seem to schedule the work. It’s now mid June; He left another message while I was on vacation. I called back and canceled the job. It’s not convenient to have the work done at this time.
Description of Work: Provided estimate for the repair of rotten wood and painting door jams on 2 exterior doors.

+ -1 moreHe was nice and professional. He did a good job and was honest. I think he was honest about what it would cost to repair. I did not feel like he was pulling my leg or tying to make money off of me. We just bought new because it would have cost too much to have them fixed. I would consider using him again in the future.
Description of Work: We had Mr Fix It come out and give us an estimate on a microwave and dishwasher that had broke. We just ended up buying new it was cheaper.
