Meadows Cleaning Concepts

Before moving into my new construction house, I asked my sister to recommend her cleaning service for a deep clean. She helped me by setting up an appointment with Meadows Cleaning Concepts for February 19, the day after closing. They told my sister the deep clean would cost $300. The house was empty but for appliances. *The cleaner arrived on time and announced "I hate these floors." *She was frequently on the phone for the two hours she was at my house. *She did not clean all the baseboards, cupboards, lighting fixtures, bathrooms, or floors *When she left I asked her how much I owed and she said "$150." When I relayed this information via text I was told that since two weeks had gone by it was too late to file a complaint. The texter wrote that after two weeks it would be "difficult to judge her work." During that two weeks I was not only unpacking and putting away my belongings but working 7.5-8 hours a day for my employer. I work remotely. The texter strongly implied that the cleaner would never quote a price to me. She merely apologized for the cleaner's lack of professional behavior. I paid the $300 through my sister but I don't believe I owe more than the $150 quoted by their cleaner. I would honestly have paid less for the shoddy work. The texter did apologize, but I would like half my money back.
