Gill Refrigeration And Air Conditioning

I had a seized condensate pump on the heating and A/C system that Gill Refrigeration installed in April 2011, for the reasonable price of $5,500. It was in a rental house managed by a real estate company, so I have no details about the installation except that the system works (I am now managing directly). I visited the company to have the pump serviced under warranty. Their records did not show a pump being installed at the time of the new system or earlier. Since they serviced the old system over a period of years, and the pump was manufactured a year ago, I felt that they must have replaced it, and these pumps usually have a 2-year warranty. Graciously, the company agreed to resolve this difference, by agreeing to my proposal that they pay for a new pump and I install it (a fairly easy job). For this I give them high marks. I drove from the company to one of their suppliers, picked up a pump on their account, and installed it the following day. There were difficulties in communication: I have a speech disability and the receptionist rejected my 'TTY' phone calls. To add to that, although email addresses are posted on their web site, emails sent to those were apparently not read, or at least not replied to, hence the need for a personal visit. I am sure that a normal telephone call would produce results and perhaps my explanation of the TTY service will help in the future.
