Elegant Green Lawns

Description of Work: i hired elegant green lawns i early spring of 2012. upon first meeting, chris miller, owner, seemed very professional, competent, and knowledgeable. I paid them $1500.00 to trim two trees, do spring cleanup, apply mulch, and cut lawn for first time. The arrangement after that was grass cut every week if needed, for $45.00 each time. Chris also said they would treat the lawn, apply fungicide for plants and fertilizer and keep weeds under control. The first month was pretty good, but then they apparently got a big contract with a large private community in the area and their service to me took the plunge. I never knew when they were coming and when they did arrive, there were usually 2 and one covered the yard with a very large riding mower while the other one did edging and used the blower . Then they were gone usually within 15 minutes. i tried calling Chris several times and he did not return my calls. Then I noticed that the large mower was being run into plants and breaking limbs and pieces off (rose bushes, crepe myrtles and rotodendrons). I did bring this to Chris ' attention once when he came to the house, and he apologized and said he would speak to his employee (nothing happened). Finally, in September I called the main number of elegant green lawns and said i was suspending service and payment. I was very displeased with their service and their attitude after they got the work. I think they had too much work and not enough help. They had to keep their big contract at the expense of their smaller jobs. Very sad and we were both left with bad feelings. I have since hired a landscaper, Amy Trotto, and she is fantastic. She is doing all my spring clean up with a wonderful green thumb. She is is professional, experienced, and extremely easy to work with. I hope to have her helping me for a very long time.

Description of Work: Last year, Elegant Green Lawns planted grass and my husband was happy with them. They did some kind of fertilizer and lawn treatment. They came April the 21st. My husband did the yearly plan, because it was cheaper. The lawn care for the entire lawn for 7 applications for 2012 was $435 if we paid it before December of 2011, which we did
