C & R Heating and Air Conditioning

I've had them doing my air conditioning for like 20 years. They are a family business so they are not too big that they don't have the time to explain to you or to be friendly or whatever so that's why I continue with them. I feel like I know them. Everybody knows each other and they are on time.

They replaced my gas fireplace cut off valve located in the wall and they also reattached some duct work in attic, clean my ac drain line, drain pan and installed a drain sensor. The work went very well and they protect the marble surrounding the fireplace and clean up any mess they made.

They did an excellent job on the quote. They were the most thorough of all of them. He was very professional. The person wanted to do more expensive work, but we did not want that done at this point. I would not mind using him again.

I found this company when my regular guy was to busy (apparently my emergency was not big enough ;-( and I was not on the repeat business head of the list group) I had a low level of coolant. They worked me on a really busy day (during a hot spell) and the price seem very resonable.

We first learned of C&R from a business card the previous owners left taped to a cabinet door in our home. It had "These guys are great!" hand written on the card. The first time we had an A/C problem we decided to give them a call and have been customers ever since. They are prompt and thorough, and more importantly they are honest and fair. If its a simple fix or a minor issue, they don't try to charge you for anything more, and on one occasion did not charge at all. On the single occasion when the work was not done to my complete satisfaction (original work preformed by a relatively new employee), the owner returned and fixed it himself the same day, staying late to ensure things were done correctly. Not only did he fix the problem, we had an enjoyable conversation. A family owned business, they remain my first call with heating or A/C issues.
