Company's owner was very knowledgeable about the product and installation. He took the time to understand the requirements and make an accurate estimate. He oversaw the installation, and didn't appear to over-sell or cut corners.

They were very responsive. They were extremely reasonable and punctual. I was very impressed. I would definitely use them again. The technician was extremely nice and very informative.

They are wonderful. They are our main provider. The guy was really nice and knowledgeable. He talks and talks, and talks. He tells you exactly whats going on. He will tell you exactly what is wrong and what needs to be fixed. He explained why we were having continuous problems.

My home had separate systems for the upstairs and downstairs that I think dated from the early nineties. I've had problems with both of them for the last few years that generally meant that I was spending two to three hundred dollars a year on repairs. Since this was getting old I finally decided to just bite the bullet and update to a more reliable and efficient system. My neighbor recommended Allen Mechanical so I called them and one other contractor that I located through Angie's List. Although the other estimate was lower, I felt better about this company as his inspection and explanation of the cost was more complete. I knew there was going to be some access problems and these were noted and addressed honestly by the price quote right up front. I had a Trane XL 20i and a Trane XL 16i installed. The two days of on-site work went very smoothly. The company is owned by Steve Allen and his brother, and either one or both of them were on site all the time, but the entire crew seemed like they'd worked together for a long time. They were a professional bunch that did a nice job.
