Description of Work: Patriot identified a flange with a rubber component was rotted. They replaced the flange.

+ -1 moreRoof had been leaking in 2 places after the first heavy rain of the season. I sent them an email and they showed up at my house the next day and gave me an estimate. They said they could repair the next day before the next round of rain (expected the day after that). They encouraged me to shop around. Since I hadn't heard back from 95% of the other roofing companies I had emailed, I went ahead and called them and accepted their estimate. The repairs were made the next day. No leaks since. Great work!
Description of Work: They repaired missing shingles on ridge vent and replaced the rubber sheaths around 3 pipe vent holes.

+ -1 moreThe appointed time came and went and the repair person never showed up. I called and was told that he wouldn't be coming because he was on a job and couldn't leave the site. When I explained that I had left work to meet him, I was asked if I wanted to make another appointment (I declined). I had left two contact numbers so I'm wondering why no one called to say that they were tied up. Not very professional in my opinion.
Description of Work: I called and arranged for an estimate to have leaks fixed on my roof. I arranged for time off from work so that I could be at the house at 2:00 pm to meet them.

The work was completed in under two hours. I have never experience a service call/response/repair so quickly. I have passed and posted their information at work and church. A wonderful company. As a matter of fact, they will be conducting some remodeling work for me as well. Perfect one stop service!!!!!
Description of Work: As a result of heavy rain a couple of weeks ago, there was significant water damage done to the upper level of the house. Prior to having this damage repaired, I need assurance as to whether the roof was the actual cause. It was. I was informed that there was sealant issues with an exhaust pipe and some shingles that needed securing.

+ 0 moreI made an appointment for an estimate. Apparently, there was a mix up on their end and the estimator didn't show up. When I called to inquire, it was clear that they didn't have my appointment in their schedule. The person I talked to on the phone said that she thought someone could come out in about 2 hours and that she would call me back to let me know. She didn't call back. No one came. They called the next day to ask if I still needed the estimate. I declined.
Description of Work: I was supposed to receive an estimate for cleaning stains off of my roof and for a small repair.

Description of Work: We had a couple of shingles blow off during a windstorm. Patriot roofing examined the roof for other missing shingles and replaced the two that had come off.

+ -1 moreThese guys absolutely rock! I've used them before for fixing nail pops and flashing fixes on my roof. Both that time and this time, they gave me a fair estimate within 48 hours of calling them (without me having to be there) and then completed the work within days (again, without me having to be there). Then they clean up beautifully and leave a bill in the door. I absolutely love coming home to the work being done, bill in the door and no muss or fuss. I will never use any other roofer.
Description of Work: I have a porch that had twin skylights that were 20 years old. One of them started leaking during recent heavy rain. Patriot Roofing came within one day for an estimate (which I didn't need to be there for) and called me with their suggestions of either taking the skylights out and filling the holes or replacing the skylights. We opted for closing up the skylights.

+ 1 moreThey were responsive. Their prices are reasonable. They had to come back to fix the leak because it wasn't fixed the first time, but they came right back and fixed it. They were very clean and took care of the area they were working in. I had a good experience with them.
Description of Work: Repaired some external roof damage and replaced drywall inside from water damage. They also repainted the area where they replaced the drywall.

+ -1 moreI am really impressed by the promptness of the work. I have not been able to check the work done as it was on the top of the roof. I hope the company will live up the reputation on the Angie's List. I had to haggle little bit for the price. He was asking for $225 and I end up paying $175. Overall I am satisfied.
Description of Work: The ridge vent on my town house was dismounted due to windy weather. It was halfway hanging and flailing in the wind and made a lot of noise during the night. I searched Angie's List for roof repair companies but there was no such category. So looked in the ROOFING category and called the ones on the top of the list. They were the most expensive with minimum charges ranging from $300 to $600 and were too busy to come on to even do estimate on the same day. Then I looked for the one who have done small jobs with $200 range and found Patriot Roofing. The lady on the phone was very responsive and tentatively promised to send out some body the same day. The person came and right away gave me the estimate and performed the job. I was pressed for time but he was able to get the parts and finish the job in no time.

On Sunday I left a voice mail for Patriot Roofing, and at 7:30 Monday morning they phoned to set up an estimate. Mr. Heflin, the owner, came out on Monday afternoon to assess the job, and did the work on Tuesday. We got a break on the per-house cost because several houses in the neighborhood required similar work. Mr. Heflin was careful to select roofing shingles that matched the original ones as closely as possible, given that the original builders' shingles were not available. The woman handling the office work, Sarah, was easy to deal with -- prompt in returning calls, pleasant, and knowledgeable.
Description of Work: Patriot Roofing replaced blown-off roof shingles and nailed down loose shingles within a couple of days of a major windstorm.

+ -1 moreThe company was very professional and prompt to respond-- the representative was ready to do the work the day after he gave me the estimate, saying they didn't mind if no one was at home. I actually preferred having them do the work while I was home, so rescheduled the removal for a few weeks later. However, when the next guy showed up as scheduled, he had the wrong size ladder, so they ended up having to come back the next day when I wasn't home. Overall, a good experience. They appear to have done a good job (no roof leaks anyway), the price was very reasonable, and I liked how they explained exactly what the work entailed.
Description of Work: Patriot removed a satellite dish installed on the roof, filled the holes where the dish was bolted down, cut the cable, and disposed of the dish.

Description of Work: Patriot replaced a section of the roof that connects an addition to our house because it had been leaking. They replace several courses of shingles around that repair and elsewhere on the roof.

The work contract was agreeable to us as homeowners to include his guarantee/warranty on materials and workmanship. The work looked good and they cleaned up after the job was completed. His wife, Sarah works in the office and she was friendly and helpful with scheduling and contract details. We were so worried about additional damage occurring before we could get someone out to do the work, but Tom's immediate availability took care of that. We hope that we can do business with them again as we have some home improvement projects that need to be done.
Description of Work: The siding came off over half of the back of our home due to high winds. Patriot Roofing resided the entire side and re-tacked the gutters. We also had them put new sealant around the exterior windows, replace the attic window vent, seal some old nail holes in roof.

He told me if I decided to replace my roof before the end the year he would give me a very discounted rate. It was a very pleasant experience. He was fair in his evaluation of what needed to be done to the house.
Description of Work: A squirrel had chewed a hole in the rake board between the two parts of the roof. They quickly gave an estimate and then did the repair promptly.

+ -1 morePatriot Roofing came to give us an estimate the next day after our initial phone call, and performed the work the following day. The price was reasonable, they were willing to use materials we'd already purchased, and they were willing to work in the yard with our dog there, without us being home. We simply left the materials and payment by check on the back porch, and came home to a completed project. We received our receipt soon after in the mail. The workmanship was excellent, and their guarantee against leakage is good for one year.
Description of Work: Vent cap for a new bathroom exhaust fan was placed in the roof, and an existing attic fan was wrapped on the exterior with wire to prevent critter entry; both on a 2 story home.

+ -1 moreI called on a Friday to make an appointment for an estimate. The estimate took place on the next Tuesday. The company owner, Mr. Heflin made an assessment and gave me an estimate. The details were faxed to me at work, and he said that if I agreed to the estimate he could perform the repairs right away. I looked over the detailed estimate and faxed the paperwork back to his office on the next day (which was May 2). When I came home that very day I found my roof repaired. All the work seems very good and other than a repaired roof, he left no trace that he was there which means he cleaned up after himself very well. I am pleased with the response and the work. I had called a couple other companies for an estimate, but they could not even come out to look at my roof for at least three weeks.
Description of Work: I had some damage from the windstorm we had in April. I needed about 10 shingles replaced, seal around a pipe, and the flashing replaced between my roof line and my neighbor's.

+ -1 moreI called for an estimate and was told that, they could come by the next day. Said, that I would not have to be present, but that they would call me. They arrived and called me as scheduled. Said that, since they were in the area, they could probably fix it that same day. This was great news, as it was scheduled to rain heavily. They reattached the flashing and resealed it, although resealed it in white caulk, when it was resealed, prior in black. I was extremely pleased with the response and professionalism, when I called. I was not able to get timely estimates from other companies, so can't really comment on the price tag of this fix.
Description of Work: Repaired corroded flashing sealant on roof, which was causing water leak into home office.

Came out one day, gave an estimate, took photos and were out the next day to repair. Very efficient and friendly service. They were also willing to bill us for the work, so I didn't have to take off time from work to be there for the repair. Great work.

+ -1 morePatriot was great! We called Friday, they came out to do an estimate on Saturday (they would have repaired Saturday as well but did not have enough ridge vent material). They returned Monday to make the repair...but once they were up on the roof they found the damage was worse than first thought. They returned Tuesday with the necessary materials, but left the final repair cost the same as the original estimate, even though more labor & materials were now involved. I appreciate that. Very nice on the phone and super responsive. I would definitely hire Patriot again.
Description of Work: The ridge vent on the top of my roof needed repair due to wind damage. Patriot replaced approx. 10 feet of the ridge vent.
