+ -1 moreThe initial $275 paid was on the high side. I declined the additional charges and took the unit to another service center that promptly opened the unit inspected it and informed me that the main board I purchased as "new" was used, the heat sink for the main processor was not adhered properly and the board was damaged beyond repair because of this. Multiple screws were also left out during re assembly. The second service center informed me that the original main could probably be rebuilt or re-flowed. I unfortunately was not able to attempt this option as Digital Renaissance claimed that they had discarded the main board when I had asked for the parts back at the initial repair pick up. I asked for a refund and was told that the second service center did not know what they were talking about. A man named Stan refused any help and was rude and short . Beware of these people. Hind sight is 20/20 . After researching this shop they have no training and no certification. They have many many complaints and have gone out of business twice and stolen property from unsuspecting patrons. BEWARE !!!!
Description of Work: Replaced a motherboard in my HP laptop. after 3 days the board failed. After waiting 3 additional day I was told that an additional $110 would be required to complete the repair.
