I have pictures. Start 9/21/16(finish date supposed to be end Nov) - 2/24/17(with more calls to come fix fixtures that didn’t work in March). Well over $24k split into four payments. Most of the core crew Witte had working for them were excellent; honest, hardworking, and punctual. They were treated poorly by the mgmt within earshot of me. The tile men were horrific and ruined the tiles by using a dry circular saw - so broken/rough edges on at least seven tiles I have to replace; tile had to be taken down and rehung due to bowed walls. Much of it left ungrouted(esp where the shower sprays twice a day) and no caulk used on the pan edges so there’s a strong mildew smell despite promiscuous use of bleach after each shower/glass door left open to dry. I, myself am regrouting and caulking the places missed. The painter was terrible. Used a roller for my high gloss woodwork and I reused an old door from the closet as the pocket door. He didn’t chip off the old, cracked paint, but painted over it with a roller! Orange peel texture over 98% of the walls and woodwork. Pocket door(“mechanism from Germany and very expensive”) was improperly finished as it swings this way and that and won’t go into the “home” between two wood pieces on the jamb for privacy, so there’s always a one inch crack. No good. Drywall hung with edges apparent(not properly taped/mudded). Light switch for main lights overheats. Vent fan rattles loudly(cheapest they could get??)/needs replacing. After all this, they were pushing(calls of a predatory nature) to get $400 for thicker subfloor particle board needed and ceiling replacement that should have been in the original bid/contract. I never received another contract to view up charges and agree with a signature. The main iron sewage pipe was cracked and leaking, which was the entire reason for the renovation was a shock to them(???) and they wanted an up charge to fix it despite “all iron to be replaced with PVC” being stated clearly in the contract. There was harassment about that as if we hadn’t been paying promptly throughout the entire debacle. Over $400?!? I was yelled at by the “finishing” guy about how they needed to get their last payment and get the **** out because they lost too much money on this. Painter questioned our total cost and said the painting I wanted(high gloss) was too work-intensive for that underbid(???) and he, “didn’t have time for it”. I am repainting it myself to smooth it out because my expensive Tempaper wallpaper will not adhere due to the orange peel texture of the walls! I was so sick during and after this that I am only now(5/2018) feeling well enough to tackle what was done incorrectly. Basically, it came down to poor project mgmt. I asked for things to be redone and they were not toward the last couple months. There were no checks or quality controls except at the beginning with the floor joists that were placed improperly. I gave up in Feb. 13/10 would not use again. Beware, they’ll expertly sell you and inspire confidence, but will not follow through.. All of this is only 2/3 of the controversy. We have another company for the second bath upstairs and the kitchen redo.

Rob and the Witte team did an outstanding job on our bathroom remodel project. We are completely satisfied with the results and were very happy with the entire project management process, including professionalism, punctuality, payment schedule and attention to detail and follow up. We would use Witte again and highkly recommend their service!

The contractor was very nice, but he did not ensure that the job was done correctly. There were several problems that had to be fixed on numerous occasions. They seemed to cut many corners which caused problems with work getting finished. What should have taken 6 weeks to finish has taken 16 weeks or longer and work is still not completed.

They were very professional and polite. I think, Rob was one of the guys who came to our house, and he explained a lot to us. He gave us a quote, but we went to someone else. He is professional and prompt to answer any questions I have. I would definitely use them again in the future.

They did a good job overall but we definitely had some issues with the communication. We had to be on top of them and we weren’t there to monitor the work everyday as we gave them the key. I think they took advantage of that in terms of work and leisure. It was a major concern for us as we wanted to move in before the holidays. They hampered our authority to do that. There was a lot of dust everywhere and the workmanship was bad. They should have improved on that.

Witte Home Solutions did a very good job and very responsive. The flooring which was done by their sub-contractor could have been done a little bit better. We had a few issues, it took awhile to get it resolved and then they called someone else to resolve it. Overall I was satisfied but with the flooring, that was the area that gave us the most concern. They were able to address it but it was not perfect. We were happy and satisfied in the end. They were very professional. The price is good. We're scheduled for Mr. Witte to do something for us soon.

These folks are great! Rob & his father are the best, Install crew had to be "watched" a little. However, Rob came behind on the job and was the best contractor I've ever dealt with. Anything brought to his attention was dealy with quickly and with the best attitude. He even haqd the factory rep. on site to deal with some "issues"..

They installed 3 new doors: A new front door with side lights, a new patio door w/ build in blinds and a new garage (side) door. The doors all came with a manufacturers lifetime warranty and are very good quality doors. The garage door had difficulties w/ leakage due to it sitting on a slab at ground level. They have worked extra hours to address and fix the issue. There are no other issues w/ the doors.They also installed new vinyl clad posts on the front porch. The work was performed to my expectation and no issues exist.Overall the company was great to work with, very easy to deal with and always responsive to any issues / calls. I would recommend them for work of this type in the future and would look to them as a go to company for any work I may have in the future. The work took approximately 2 weeks to complete due to the weather.

They did a good job. They were timely and got it finished well within the time limits. They were also very professional. I would use them again in the future.
