TM & KM Construction

If you want to hire a contractor that keeps your money (multiple $K) and didn’t get the job done, this is the one to hire. We hires Trent to build the sunroom. After he presented the plan and we placed a deposit of $5000 to get the job started. He had an architect come to our course drawing the blueprint but we requested changes. In the meanwhile, we have engaged Trent for other small scale projects, such as adding a wall or adding rails to our porch. We paid all the projects in full after the projects are done. However, the main project on sunroom hasn’t made any progress for over 8 months. Our request to the change of the drawing hasn’t been addressed in a concrete manner. Understanding that Trent might have busy schedule and we didn’t want to wait for any longer. We kindly requested to cancel the project, refund is $5000-minus the drawing fee. He agreed to refund in his initial text but then unresponsive for our calls and texts. However, he also didn’t move forward with our project. So, essentially we paid $5000, got a semi-finished blueprint and waited for over a year and nothing was done. His argument was this $5000 was baked into the cost of other projects but we have separate quotes for other projects from him and we’ve paid in full. After we have read other review about failing to refund $2000, it seems a consistent pattern. Please address it ASAP before we bring it to the next level!!

All went well!! When TMKM called from Angi, they knew exactly what I wanted done. Others had called but always wanted to build a shed on the back yard. Never seemed to have heard of putting a gazebo on a deck. Trent and Vernice were both helpful and kept us informed about everything . The workers who assembled the gazebo were good workers and the job went very well. I would definitely recommend TMKM construction to others.

Very fast and very well done

They did a great job of repairing the roof and supporting structure. They replaced the roof with a better material, and made the supporting structure even stronger than before. It was all painted very well. We are very pleased. The crews were very nice, competent and hard working, and cleaned it up perfectly.

Trent and his team did an amazing job! We hired TM & KM Construction to knockdown a load bearing wall, remove a vestibule, replace the front door, and install new hardwood flooring in the living room, dining room, and hallway. The entire project took about three weeks and created a lot of dust and debris. However, they cleaned up the work site on a daily basis and left everything impeccably clean when they were done. During the work, they kept me informed on everything going on and were methodical and detailed focused. I was impressed by how they took the extra time to make sure everything was perfect. We had a lot of wood and trim work and they took the extra time to make complex cuts to make sure pieces fit together perfectly (versus jamming things together and covering it with caulk). Overall, I highly recommend Trent and his team.
