I found this company on craigslist. They were quick to respond. They were on time. The price quoted was almost twice the amount that I have paid for the same amount in the past but my regular guy is no longer in this line of work. When the driver got here, he said he was unable to get down the driveway because it was soft. There was one soft area. The rest was dry. We talked about options. He said he wanted to do a tailgate spread at the base of the driveway. I said that wouldn't work because I need the whole driveway covered and I have no way of moving the gravel. I suggested that he pull in and drop gravel as he went so that the truck would be lighter by the time he got to the soft spot. He agreed. Then he just did it his way leaving me to figure out how to move it. When I confronted him on his choice, he wanted to argue with me. Needless to say, I would never use this company again nor would I recommend them to anyone else. This cost me way more than it has in the past and will end up costing me more time and money to move all this gravel where it needs to go.

It was a great experience from beginning to end. On first contact Mr. Morris called back right away and one day later was out to look at our property. He returned a very fair estimate within a day. (Please note 4 other landscapers before him either never called us back, never showed up for appointments that were made, or came up with estimates that seemed very high). Once we decided to go through with the project he had his team were here several days later--work was delayed by 1/2 a day because of needing to finish up another job but Mr. Morris called us often to update us. His team worked quickly and our entire project would've been done in a day and half but since we had some sod left over we added on the front yard to the project and it was completed THAT SAME DAY--even getting in the balance of the sod needed to finish the unplanned part. Mr. Morris and his team also very kindly moved concrete stones that we had leftover from a project and spread mulch leftover from last year around our flower beds without even saying a word! The finished project looks fantastic--I've never seen sod that looks so nice. The end price for the backyard was exactly what we were quoted prior to the project, and since there was sod left over for the front yard that price was less than we were quoted at the beginning! Thoroughly satisfied with the project from beginning to end, would absolutely hire them to work on our property in the future (In fact they will probably be back next year to pave part of our driveway), and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality landscaping work.
