Serving Richmond since 2001, Mr. Handyman of Richmond is a locally owned and operated Class A Contractor. 100% woman owned. A+ BBB rating. The company has served over 15,000 residential and commercial clients in Richmond. Properly licensed, bonded, and insured. Additional services: painting, gutter repairs and maintenance, insulation, dryer vent, switches & outlets, downspouts, toilets, faucets, awnings, garages, molding. Additionally, Mr. Handyman has Certified Aging in Place Specialists on staff who can assess a home and suggest modifications to make it safer and more comfortable for those with challenges due to aging or health. WHAT MAKES THEM DIFFERENT? All technicians are highly experienced professionals with at least 15 years experience and excellent communication skills. They are company employees, not sub-contractors. The technicians are multi-skilled, so one tech can do a variety of things for you. All employees go through drug testing and background checks for your safety and arrive in uniform and in a marked vehicle. For your convenience, billing is done on a time and materials basis with just a one hour minimum for service. It is no fun paying for home repairs when you would prefer to spend your money at Short Pump Town Center, is it? We feel for you. The good thing is that Mr. Handyman is competitively priced to other companies offering similar quality and service. Our technicians are VERY skilled, with at least 15 years experience, and they are multi-skilled. So, you save money by having one of our technicians do all the things around the house instead of calling several companies. And of course, our friendly office staff is there to be your concierge and we stand behind our work! That said, we ARE more expensive then the unlicensed, uninsured felon working out of his house and not paying his taxes. But you don't want him in your house anyway.... We see you have just used us for a second time, a year after your first service. We hope you found that service excellent! We do strive to impress!

Description of Work: This company was great. I had two hours' worth of small jobs, so did not pay for an estimate. The handyman completed a range of things, including installing a new kitchen faucet, bolting down a loose toilet, and sawing off long bolts -- all of which was done smoothly and efficiently. I would absolutely call Mr. Handyman again to complete work like this -- especially when I have a large amount of small, persnickety jobs that I can't complete myself.

Description of Work: I am a tenant is a fairly new town home and the invoice was sent to the landlord so I don't know what the cost was. We had a crank out window that was broken. The person arrived on time, fixed the issue promptly, and was very courteous.

Great service!
Description of Work: we have used mr handyman often -- from changing light fixures and electrical to fixing our disposal.. they are great!!! highly recommend them for all those checklist items you need done around the house...we have never been disappointed by their work. It was perfect!
Description of Work: Howard provided skilled and superior service! I needed a desk with hutch assembeled - I NEVER could have done it! The desk was put together and is in the exact spot it should be. It is put together well, doesn't wiggle and looks fabulous! I will certainly have this company come to help me again!
